Perfect Way to Organize Photos!

After my parents passed away, I inherited all their photos, which was a LOT! I didn't think I'd ever be able to organize them. I bought a Fujitsu Scan Snap high speed scanner from Amazon and got a couple of thousand scanned in to preserve them. But what to do with the originals?? I searched Amazon the found this case and decided it might do the trick. I sorted the photos and began putting them in the individual boxes and it was perfect. Each little box does hold a lot of photos and I just put a label on each one so that when I open the case, I can see exactly what's inside. Of course with all their pictures plus mine, I had to order another box set, but what a perfect solution. I liked it so much I also bought the case with the 5X7" boxes inside for my larger photos. Neat, organized, and I can find what I'm looking for. I am thrilled with this set!!

Perfect for more then just photos!

Love it! Perfect for storing, organizing, and protecting my photos! Just what I needed. Loved it so much I ordered two more. I'm using one for organizing all my beads. I've looked for a good case for beads but have kept having the same trouble of the lid not closing tightly enough to keep them in there separate compartments. It's annoying to take all that time to organize the little beads just to have them mixed together again! This case is perfect for beads because of the separate cases that lock. I may buy even more of these. I have some other ideas that these might work good with.

Perfect

I bought a smaller one of these last year and now have purchased the bigger one. For someone who takes tons of pictures and scrapbooks this is wonderful. Or if you just want to keep your pictures safe but don't want to mess with putting them in an album its great also.

I love the idea of organizing and storing photographs in a convenient and safe container.

I really like this whole idea of having a good place to store photos. Being it is a plastic container, it is products the photo's from heat and dampness. I have pictures that have curved from heat or cold because they were stored just in a cardboard box. This would be very easy to put in a closet or under a bed and not take up a lot of room. Right now I have just put pictures in the little containers to protect them, but will organize later. What's nice about this is you can just take out one plastic container to show others and it can go right in a purse. I have pictures from a picnic taken last year that I can now show to people easily. The handle could be more sturdier. I wish they made them in different colors. I think this item is overpriced, though I found it here cheaper than some places. Once I find a product I like on Amazon, I always put the exact item name back in the search box as the same product can have different pricing! I gave it 5 stars even though there are some things I don't like about it, i.e. the handle, because I haven't seen anything better than this out there.

I love this case

I love this case! It fits my 4X6 photos with a just enough room to spare that they edges won't get bent. It's an easy way to store and organize my photos. It's very solid, and after moving it around multiple times, I've never notices the latch weakening. It's a little heavy once filled, but as it holds 1600 photos, I can see why. I would recommend this organizer to anyone who want to store their photos without going through the hassle of placing each individual photo into a protector sheet.

Compact, Simple Design, Economical!

I absolutely LOVE this storage case. Out of all the storage solutions I have tried, this has been by far the best. Compact and easy to store, easy to open and use, and a simple design. I do not use it for Photos, but for small crafting pieces and trinkets, cords and ribbon, jewelry and accessories, etc. It comes with a total of 16 4" x 6" boxes that would usually run $2-$6 by themselves. I paid $25 for the entire case, and wish I bought 5 of them while the price was that low. I'll be watching this item for when the price drops again and will be picking more up. EDIT: Price dropped down to $18.99 - so I bought 5 more. Best storage investment I've made for all of my crafting supplies. I've used my first one at a craft fair for extra stock of items I was selling, and it was perfect.

Wife loves it.

The wife wanted these to organize her mom's photos. The first box we received was cracked and we requested an exchange which was fairly painless. The shipping is fast but there is not enough packing material to keep the organizer from bouncing around and is the cause for the first one being damaged. She liked the first organizer so much I ordered two more. She didn't overload the individual boxes so we had no problem with the latches not staying shut as others reported. The handle and latch on the main box are easy to mix up so take a second and make sure you are grabbing the handle and not the latch before you pick the box up.

Perfect for seed collection

A bit expensive, but upon arrival I realized it is a very sturdy set up. And the price is justified. I ordered two more, as they work great for storing seed collection. I really love how organized everything is now. Shipping is a little slow, but it is a good product.

Perfect for storing Seeds!

I know this is for photos, but it's perfect for gardeners who need to organize their piles of seed packets. I can't speak to it's durability as I've just purchased it - but it is made out of a rigid plastic that seems like for what I'm using it for will be just fine. Fits Baker Creek & Johnnies Seeds seed packets which are larger than Burpee see packets for reference.

Perfect for storing both my very old and newer family photos

I love this photo storage tote. Over the years, I've managed to collect a lot of pictures, including some very old family photos that I want to keep as organized and protected as possible. After I outgrew my shoe box-style organizer, I started looking for something that gave me more options for organizing as well as features that would protect some of my very old photos, some of which are more than a century old. This case fit the bill perfectly. The 4x6 inner boxes were big enough to hold the majority of my photos, with the smaller ones sliding around a bit but still protected in the inner cases. The case seems to be very well thought out in regards to protecting photos since it's acid-free and has softer corners to prevent damage. My larger photos don't fit in the 4x6 boxes, of course, but I've found that there's enough room in the case to set them on top - between the small boxes and the lid - so that they're all still together and protected. The wide, flat design also makes it easy to find a small space to store the case in. I now have plenty of room for all of my photos, and room for more if I track down more family photos or print out more photos of my kids!
