Beautiful

Although this art box is very nice and light weight, it is also very sturdy, it unfortunately was too small for what I needed. I gave it five stars however, because the craftsmanship was beautiful and if only it had been a bit bigger it would have been perfect.

Great box for art and sewing supplies

I ordered one of these art supply boxes for my calligraphy equipment. It is such a great box I ordered another one to use as a sewing supply box. Both boxes are very well constructed with movable inserts inside so I can set it up to hold everything securely. I was concerned by another review about the unfinished quality of the wood, but I was pleasantly surprised to find the wood finish is sanded and looks great without my having to do any further work on it.

So good I bought it twice

I had bought one of these in the past to hold my art supplies. This was about 7 years ago. About 5 years ago I had my sewing machine attack the box. The box has a crack but is in no way destroyed. I still keep it for my art supplies. I decided to buy a new one to hold some other small items I wanted in a secure case. The second one is as good as the first. I love this product so much.

It's perfect

I am so in love with this box. I use it for something else. I use it as my stash box. I put a lock on it. Decorated the inside and out. Came out pretty nice. Well made. There is one one tiny problem tho. One of the small boards is loose. My husband fixed it with a tiny piece of paper to stop it from leaving the track.

A Great Box for Pochade/Plein Air Supplies!

I destest plastic art boxes for plein air supplies because if they get dropped or petrochemicals leak, the box disintegrates or cracks. This wood box can stand the weight and is very sturdy while being compact. Holds a lot of art supplies easily and well.

Perfect Box for Witchcraft Supplies!

I have bought two of these boxes about six months apart! The first box is a little darker in color, but such is the nature of wood. I have little glass jars and rocks in one of them, and it holds up just fine! The box on the outside feels much sturdier than any box you're going to find at, say, Michael's. The inside dividers are a little thinner than I thought, but they hold up for what I need, and there's a non-removeable one that goes through the middle, you will not be able to take it out. I'm very pleased with this product overall, and it's a great deal!

US Art Supply Storage Box greatly exceeded expectations. It was 99% perfect !

First off, I'm a perfectionist. I'm very hard to earn a compliment from. Secondly after reading the other reviews, I begin to think I should have spend more money for a more "premier" brand. I'm pleased to report all my apprehensions due to other reviewers negatives...after my art box arrived.....vanished. I'm very pleased with the US Art Box quality and construction. The storage box does have a matte-finish clear coat ( outside surfaces only ) The walls of the storage box are made of a tight grained hardwood. The storage box "top, bottom and tray bottom are fabricated of a furniture grade 3-layer plywood. Photo's included show the inside tray with the gap size depicted by common coins, two Penny's and two Nickels to prove visually ...there is nothing wrong with this tray's fit or finish. All the Hardware, the latches, hinges, and handle were spot on straight as an arrow. All the joinery was well done. The photo showing the inside corner of the tray shows the ONLY flaw I could find.....bet you have to study it hard....to find it ! These four pictures should give you confidence, this robust art storage box is NOT SHODDY by any measure!

Roomy and customizable storage solution, great for my needs.

I bought this box to store medical marijuana and medical marijuana paraphernalia. While it's not a work of art by any means, it's sturdy enough that I'm not worried about it falling apart. I like that the bottom compartments can be customized. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the product for the price.
