Perfect

Love this shelf so much. It is very strong and sturdy but the chrome finish makes it pretty enough to use in a bedroom. I bought this to match my clothing rack, which I also love, and they compliment each other beautifully. This is sturdy enough to hold a lot of heavy objects, can be be taken apart and reassembled with ease (which I have already done once- just as easy to do the second time around), and shiny and attractive enough to be on display in the bedroom. The shelves are a perfect size- I keep meaning to get some fabric bins to put in here, because it's easy to find all kinds of bins that fit in to this shelf perfectly. The shelves have held tools, heavy jewelry making supplies, many blankets, bins of yarn and fabric, all my pants, pjs and towels (which I have many!) The top of the shelf is perfect for storing items not in use- winter clothes, extra blankets etc. If you're worried about the top being the same kind of wire, you can either store bins up there or cover with fabric. The wire mesh has never caught in anything- not a delicate sweater, tights, many many balls of yarn, etc. The chrome is so pretty and shiny, too, and looks as good as the day I bought it 2 years ago! If you look in the photos, you'll see right now it has bins full of fabric, clothing, blankets, etc. The second photo was to show scale- that quilt in the background is for a king size bed and it's about 4" off the ground. This rack shipped quickly, is very easy to assemble and can hold just about anything. I'll probably be buying another one. This is the garment rack I bought to go with, I recommend it as well! Great product

This product was packaged very well and arrived in excellent condition. And it is a great product. You can use these shelves to store many things but do be a bit careful as to how much weight you put on them. They are designed to hold just so much weight and no more. And for my purposes it is perfect. I would recommend this product to anyone and everyone.

Attractive and functional

I purchased this set of shelves for my laundry room to fit in a space between the water heater and a wall. It is perfect and provides additional storage and organization. It is sturdy and easy to assemble. The step-by-step assembly directions are good. The height of each shelf can be set to accommodate items to be stored on it. I like the look and the utility.

I have purchased 3 of them to make store my quilt fabric totes making organization of my stash manageable and easy. Well made, lightweight, easy to put together. Easy to re-adjust as needs change, I was surprised by this. Sturdy, expect that they would hold more weight than I am putting on them. In order to have more shelves per unit than it comes with, I found it was less expensive to purchase an additional whole set than purchase individual shelves. Delivered very fast.

Easy assembly

Great storage shelf. The powdered black finish fits my decor perfectly. The shelves can be placed in 1" increments. Very sturdy with adjustable feet for leveling is what sealed the deal for me. Oh, and the price was easy on the pocket cash.I would buy again, in fact I did.I would suggest to others. 2nd shelf unit assembled and in good use. So much better than looking at stuff piled in a heap. 1st shelves used in bedroom to store summer shorts and t-shirts. 2nd used to store bathroom scatter rugs and more. Might even buy more for the storafe sheds. Yes, I would recommend!

A great shelf unit for organizing storage!

I bought 2 of these units to help organize a storage Tuffshed, after using a different product, to compare them. I liked these from BestOffice/Calvalier and ordered 6 more for the garage. Compared to the similar HoneyDo shelf these are a little more handy since they have a marking every 6 or so support grooves in the supporting poles which speeds up assembly by making it easier to get the shelves correctly spaced without counting or measuring. A minor point perhaps, as is the fact that the bottom pads come already in place on the BestOffice unit, and the pole joiners have seats half way rather than being continuously threaded, so I feet that the join is more secure. I recommend this product for anyone trying to organize storage space. I also compared as to color (chrome vs. black) and I prefer the chrome since it may show dust to a lesser degree.

Exceeds expectations

Didn't expect too much since we bought on a whim for a quick and cheap storage solution. At half price of anything comparable sold at big boxes, I was expecting something flimsy and awkward to assemble. It's neither the case. As others have noted, it's solid. The chrome finish is quality. It actually looks good! Looks wasn't a priority as this will be hidden in a storage area for us but definitely a nice surprise. Assembly is a breeze. The engineering thought put behind it is impressive. The posts are labeled to know which is the bottom and which is the top. The threaded ends of the bottom (female) and top (male) makes it simple to connect. Not once was there a sign of potential cross threading. The plastic couplings that holds the shelves are super easy to put on but the genius behind it is how the act of sliding in the shelves holds the couplings firmly in place. You'll see what I mean when you put it together. The hardest part of its assembly is deciding where you want to put the shelves! Total assembly time after figuring out how to arrange the shelves: 4 minutes. Note: I did not receive this discounted or free for my blahblahblah. Our storage is the garage. While out of the elements, it will be in a uncontrolled environment that may expose rusting and whatnot. Will update review if that occurs.

Shoes on the floor? No more!

These shelves are so sturdy and easy to assemble. If you need extra storage space, I would recommend these shelves. My recent purchase... I bought 2 shelving units and made a 9 shelf rack for shoes and boots. I love it. No more shoes on the floor or taking up floor space on 3 other 3-4 shelf shoe racks.

Very nice Shelving unit

This shelving unit went together very easily. It took about 15 - 20 min. for me to put it together by myself. All the pieces fit exactly. It offers the opportunity to allow as much or little space between shelves as you wish. It seems very sturdy, although we don't have a lot of weight on it. I will definitely consider getting another one just like this when I'm ready to add one to another room.

Love, Love, Love it!! This chrome Steel Storage Rack is fabulous and made my kitchen area open up. I love all the space it has and how wonderful it looks.
