So far so good. It's been two days only and I like these tires. They're not noisy and the braking is very good. But - they are brand new. ALL new tires are good. I'll update this review in six months, when these babies survive a Chicago winter. That's a true test. ----------- UPDATE 14 months later: The tires are still very good. They survived a Chicago winter, and a steamy summer, without any problems. The photos I attached here were taken when the tires were new. 12,000 miles later they still have good tread. Oh, one more thing: my car dealer looked at the numbers printed on the sides of the tires. When I bought them they were "freshly made". Often the tires sold at the stores can already be a year old, or even older. For this type of a product every moth spent on a shelf means deterioration in quality. Even when not used at all. Achilles tires I bought were new, not even six months old. That's very good.

After going to the big name tire shops and being told that the cheapest set of tires for my 16' ford fusion would be approx $800 I did some shopping and found these and another brand. The reviews for the Achillies were very good and I can see why. Tires shipped in three days, I had a small shop install for $50 and WOW! They are quiet, soft and seem to be very stable. If I am able to get 30K-40K miles out of these its was the best money spent on tires EVER (for me). Update!!! Over 30,000 miles on these and tires still look good and ride great
These tires for the money you cant go wrong. I saved $400 with these tires. Now I understand tires are the number 1 most important thing you maintain on a car for safety so I was very hesitant but now with the purchase I am overjoyed. I do not know the tread wear yet but to me I rarely drive this vehicle anymore so this was ideal for me.

I have never had a single problem with them. I had them shipped to the tire shop directly this time. The first purchase I paid the prepaid installation and saved some money. I had pep boys put them on and the prepaid took care everything. Great discount on the prepaid installation. I would recommend these for sure.
People complain about how it doesn't hold up in rain or in the snow - well I'm already a month in with these bad boys and their holding up better than a thief in a jewelry store. Their tough, cheap, and worth it for the money!
