I really like the unique look to it. I own a few M Tech knives, this might be my fav. Its durable...Ive already banged it around quite a bit. The spring-opener is a neat little feature. Nice weight & overall size...... A+ ....The only thing I didn't really like is the clip, which I removed....just my own personal pref.

Thought I would take a chance on this one. Chinese and under $10 I figured so what. ANYWAY it's pretty good! It's a real knife. Of course I need to resharpen the blade and drop some bronze washers in, but it's kinda gawky/pretty and the flipper flips good. Tip down unfortunately but this won't be number one option if I actually needed to defend myself. That's for my right pocket. Anyway. It's great. Easily worth the $10. Fellow Chinese folder-lovers might get a kick out of this one.

Really like it, snaps open with just a moderate finger pressure on a lever that is not to large or protruding to catch on the pocket, has a good clip, blade comes reasonably sharp and after opening many boxes is still ok sharp, color and shape/handle closed is classy looking but it is functional as well and the glass breaker knub at the base doesnt poke you, the point is blunted and might function as a sloted screwdriver with a little fileing, there is also a bottle opener if you open the knife so in a pinch, it would open the beans and beer if you were stuck out. No don't over react, it is not a survival knife, but it is a good value for a cheap pocket knife. Hardly worth sharping for the price of a new one.

UPDATE!! Still really love this knife. Everyone who sees it wants one! Bumped from 4 to 5 stars. OG post - Really like this knife. It's full size but lightweight (4.2 ozs) and easy to carry. The blue/silver is just wicked nice looking. The best part is the really nice, smooth action. I have medium size size female hands and this works perfect for me. There are many knives just like this but I love the color and for sure this one opens very fast. I would recommend for a gift.

I use this knife for literally everything. I trim my palm trees, banana trees and another plants with it I use it to cut through everything plastic, paper, cardboard, electrical wiring. Basically I put it through a lot of abuse and as you can see in the picture other than it being dirty it hasn't faded the gold isn't chipped or broken off or anything the only thing is the black on the handle kind of scratched off from being attached at my hip and rubbing against everything.. I've spent a lot more money on way less impressive knives this was not only a great deal but probably one of the best knives I've ever owned

For a cheap knife this is really great. Blue and silver looks ready nice. Smooth finishes. The spring assist works well. I first tried to operate it with my thumb but that is really tough, when I changed to my pointer finger it opens very easily, snaps open fast and locks securely in place. Very happy with this. Update: I bought another in a different color and it didn't open as smoothly as the first. Easy fix! Loosening the screw that holds the blade just a tiny bit may help, but what made a huge improvement for me was putting a tiny bit of gun oil on the little metal nubs that push against the blade to control its movement. While the blade is out those nubs are between the handles just inside from the blade metal. 1 nub is on the blade lock, the other is directly across from that on the inside of the handle. They are needed, just put a dab of oil on them with a Qtip. Works perfectly now.

It cuts incredibly well. The spring assisted blade deployment snaps the blade out quickly, and a separate spring arm locks it in place. Its a multi tool and knife with features like a graduated slot to tighten nuts, Screwdriver/glass breaker, bottle opener. Hole that can be used to bend wire. It has a sturdy belt clip and a visually pleasing and ergonomic design. Knurled areas and depression provide for a great grip and precision control. It locks and can be opened two ways. 1) A flick of your index finger. 2) Grasp slot and flip out like a normal folding knife. The spring assist works well to flip the blade out. To unlock put you right index finger on the slot in the belt clip and your right thumb on the lock spring arm inside the blade storage slot. Then pinch those fingers together while carefully closing the blade. The blade tension/friction can be optimized by adjusting the pivot screw on the opposite side from the belt clip with the appropriate T10 star driver. A drop of lightweight oil to the pivot point can be applied to increase deployment speed. Its a great knife.

I know MTECH doesn't have the best rep for their knives, often on the lower quality end of the spectrum. Knowing that I still ordered this knife just expecting an ok knife for occasional use. I have to say I was extreme surprised about the quality this knife. It's very well made extremely sharp right out of the box, more so than popular brand names that cost 4 or 5 times as much. It's thin profile fits nicely in your pocket and did I say it was very sharp? For he money you can beat this knife.

Keep in mind that I am writing this from the perspective that this is a cheap knife. If you are looking for a knife that your grandkids will give to their kids someday, this probably isn't it. If you are looking for a knife that is super inexpensive and is therefore easily replaceable, this is it. I work nightclub security and I use a knife fairly often while working (not on other people, mind you). I'm also one of those guys to always be walking around with a blade. This knife feels extremely solid for its price. I've had hundreds of knives in the past and if I had to guess the price of this knife based on first impressions, I'd put it in the $50 range. The knife isn't very sharp out of the box, but that's easily correctable. The flipping mechanism feels natural and the lock engages every time. It also has a window breaker at the bottom of the knife handle, which is a really nice little bonus. I'd recommend. I'll update this post after using it for a while if anything changes.

This is a flashy but well built knife. It is very stiff to open out of the box but just give it some work and it'll be fine. Just as a side note it is a lot bigger and heavier than it looks in pictures. I don't care, but if you are looking for a small knife, this one isn't for you :p it is about the size of my iPhone 6, while closed. There is a picture of it compared to my phone and hand to give you some perspective. But you really have to feel it for yourself...
