Well made with lots of dress options!

This set is just adorable. It is well made, with smooth, soft edges...the box is great itself. There are lots of outfits to choose from. I wished there was another happy Minnie, as there are 3 sad/mad looking ones, and a not so happy surprised one, and a silly one...But my 2 and 5 year old liked the different grumpy faces. I am super happy with the small price of this as well!

Melissa & Doug Minnie Mouse Mix and Match, Another Winner

I thought this would be a great first puzzle for my two year old granddaughter, she's been doing puzzles on my IPad for a long time so she has the concept, this would give her hands on practice. She does really enjoy putting the pieces together to dress Minnie, but she only wants to use "happy" Minnie and occasionally "winking" (or silly) Minnie! She also enjoys putting the pieces back in the plastic tray and taking them out again. Being a young two year old, she also wants to throw the pieces and managed to toss one piece out of my reach the first day of play! She will play with these for a good 45 minutes at a time, which is a great way for me to get a break from her constant running! All 18 pieces fit in the box with or without the plastic tray and the puzzle frame sits on top. Two rubber bands around the box and top do a good job of securing the top in place if you want to take the toy to go. I'm very happy with this purchase, as most Melissa and Doug toys this is well constructed and made to last. It's also a great toy for the price. I believe this puzzle is made for ages 3 and up, I'm comfortable letting my granddaughter play with it mainly because she isn't putting it in her mouth. Every kid is different though so use your discretion. I will buy more of these little puzzles, they make great little "thinking of you" surprises or add on gifts.

Very popular

This has been a very popular item with a two year old. It took her just a couple of minutes to get the concept. Before too long, she was matching the colours on the outfits and you can also use the puzzle to teach body parts and polka dots! I was really surprised to see how many times this puzzle has been pulled out and played with for long periods of time. Nice quality wood. This would be a good toy to take along for car trips. There are 6 heads (can talk about emotions and expressions) as well as 6 pieces that are the arms, and six pieces that are the legs and feet, so 18 pieces total.

Best couple of dollars I’ve spent

I purchased this to go in my 2-year-old’s potty prize box. She picked it first and has spent HOURS playing with it. When I pick her up from daycare, the first thing she says is, “I want to play with my Minnie puzzle!” We have also had great conversations about the feelings behind Minnie’s facial expressions and matching colors.

My grand daughter super loves this puzzle. It's her first Minnie Mouse toy and I'd say she is now a Minnie fan. I was worried about quality based upon the price I paid for the puzzle but was super impressed with quality and puzzle pieces. It's easy for my 22 month old granddaughter to do. She can easily take the top off the box, take the pieces out and then flip the cover over to put together. I love how the top fits on the box, ease of use and the fact that we haven't lost a puzzle piece yet because it really all works well for her. This toy is one of two that stay out on a daily basis because she plays with it so much. I've been looking online too to see if I could find another one for Christmas, maybe with different character but slightly larger in size. Nothing wrong those with this size though, I just want a variety of puzzles for her.

Awesome puzzle! My two year old loves this

Awesome puzzle! My two year old loves this. Seems so simple - just three pieces (head, mid section with arms, legs with shoes), but it's all she needs. The puzzle is self correcting, so it helps her adjust her hold and placement of the pieces so she can do it herself. Each face has a different facial expression. My two year old loves to mix the different colors and create different outfit combos. One of her favorites things about the puzzle is putting the pieces back in the plastic insert in the box (so don't throw it away!). Teachers her to sort and patch the shapes. Great for travel (although the top does not snap on).

Cute Quality

Very nice quality set made of wood with wood storage box. There are six Minnie heads, six Minnie torsos with arms and six Minnies from the waist down. My 3-3/4 year old daughter had this together in a couple of minutes. I think the optimum age might be two, but they state the minimum age as three which I think is too old. My daughter said she likes the small size as it makes a good take along toy. I don't know how Melissa and Doug make so many; quality toys at such reasonable prices.

Great for a family with multiple littles!

Nice quality, good graphics, arrived promptly. It’s hard to buy gifts for twin girls, because you want them to have something to play with, but you don’t want to clutter up the house. These puzzles can be used without the frame, so it’s perfect for multiple kids and it’s a fairly small box. This was a favorite of parents AND 2 1/2 year olds. There’s even enough pieces for Big Sisters to show them how it works without fussing over enough pieces for everyone!

My 3 years olds favorite toy from Christmas morning!

I have to laugh because this was virtually the only thing my daughter cared about on Christmas morning! And it was a last minute buy....and the least expensive thing we bought her. But man, she carries it around the house all day and always wants to make sure she knows where it is. We have also now purchased it for one of her little friends because my daughter won’t share hers. Note: after 2 months our wooden pieces are showing some scratches/surface wear in the paint but knowing how much my daughter is using them, it’s understandable.
