Nice set to try true artists paint. Its good acrylic so can be watered down as a watercolor. If you clen brushes right away then clean up is a breeze.

Gave this set of paints to my nephew for his birthday. These tubes of paint are small, but he's just beginning to paint, and if he likes them, the next purchase will be for larger tubes of these paints. He used these paints the day after receiving them, and liked working with them. I'll be buying him larger tubes from this company for Christmas.

Nice paint set

Nice paint set. The colors are vibrant and there are A LOT of them. I will say that 12 mL is not a lot of paint, but the amount is clearly listed in the product title so that is not a complaint. You just might want to consider a different paint set if you're going to be using a lot of paint. Also, the seller seems to be exceptionally concerned with customer satisfaction so I imagine they would deal well with problems with your order if you had any.

Fine paints for beginning artist

I had never painted with acrylic paints before. I bought the basic 12 paint tubes and a pack of canvas boards and began to paint. I was amazed by how well the colors blend and how easy it was to turn out a picture that I am proud of. My nieces came over to see my first attempt at art. They were impressed with the colors and gave me some pointers to help with my next project. These paints are smooth when you want them to be, and created nice texture on the canvas as well. As for customer service, this company had great communication with me, and seems genuinely to want my feedback. I chose this set because it is non toxic. I would recommend these paints to anyone who wants to learn to use acrylic paints. As I improve with my art, I will buy from this company again.

Beautiful

Beautiful colors. I love the quality of these acrylics. I'm not an advanced painter, so I enjoyed how approachable this set was. I was debating on giving this 4 stars instead of 5, ONLY because the colors displayed on the tube are slightly misleading; nonetheless, all of the acrylics are beautiful and can be blended effortlessly.

Perfect for the job....

I purchased these paints to repaint a statue that was broken, then repaired and they worked just great. The many tubes of different colors was just what I needed to complete the repair. Among the many tubes of the paints were the exact colors I needed and another great thing about using these is that they clean up with water. No mineral spirits or any other type of paint remover, just plain water. The video I watched to do the statue repair mentioned acrylic paints so I came to shop at Amazon where I knew they would have a variety of paints to choose from. Very happy I chose these and the statue doesn't look like it was ever broken. Will be doing other painting with these paints and when needed will buy them again.

Highly Rewarding Find

I had never heard of this company prior to searching for an acrylic paint set to begin further experimenting with the medium, and also on new canvas boards! However, great choice absolutely!!!! The paint is very high quality for the price and spreads on canvas very easily. Also easy to blend with other brands of acrylic paint (notably the MyArtscape set). A lot can be said for the customer service end Castle. A representative contacted me to make sure I was thoroughly satisfied with the product and continuously added there was a complete money-back guarantee if I was NOT satisfied. Damn good! For Artists and Beginners

I recently got the package and used them right away since I've been wanting to do acrylic paintings for a while just as practice because I'm rusty when it comes to paint. I used these to paint over a sketchbook cover and the quality is really nice! Once I run out, I'm most likely going to buy a new set from them :)
