Let's start with materials, this is a pressboard material with a laminate design on it. If you are looking for real wood.. keep looking. How easy was it to put together? It was fairly easy to figure out and took about 15 minutes to put together from start to finish. I'm not the handiest of people but I figured it out fairly quickly. Durability: unless your kids are monsters... I can see this lasting a good while. Mine climb, sit and stand on ours and we haven't had any issues. Overall impression: for the price and for what it is, we love it. It replaced the pop-up toy box that is made of cardboard and fabric. It's sturdy (as I said my kids climb on it and they are 4 and 2 years old) the lid doesn't slam closed so we don't have to worry about pinched fingers and my 2 year old figured out how to open and close it fairly quickly so he could get to his toys. My only complaint is that they don't have a simpler graphic design.. such as a single color.. or leaves, or a princess design that is just pink and white. All the designs are disney characters which limits the age range for use.

honest review

easy to put together, very sturdy, doubles as a bench, holds a lot of toys. no complaints. can withstand my 40lb 22month old standing and jumping on lid and sitting inside of toybox as well. if your little one loves mickey mouse and you want a toy box just to throw all toys in then this is great. has no scratches and is great with rough play

Good deal

Perfect size for little hands to reach in and grab their favorite toys. Easy to put together. My only advice is to attach the lid hinge on the top first, then the bottom. That's what I did and it dad take a little work to do but the lid stays up. It isn't huge, it's a small toy chest. Amazon had the best price online for this toy chest.

Wonderful!

This toy box is great! It was fairly easy to assemble, and I am 7 months pregnant and have never put anything involving screws and tools together in my life, plus I had a 16 month old "helping" me every step of the way. My daughter loves it, it is bright and sturdy and holds plenty of toys. The lid doesn't sit flush against the box but this is a good thing to keep her little fingers from getting smashed!

Love this little toy box

Love this little toy box. My little GB loves it too! The lid stays up when she opens it so I don't have to worry about it falling down on her head while she's looking inside. Also, one very important thing...there is a small gap when it closes which is perfect room for little ones not closing their fingers!! And the colors are awesome too :)

A Birthday Party Hit

Put this together before the birthday party for my 2 year old grandson. He saw it right away, opened the lid and saw all the toys that USED to be all over the room. He had fun just taking his toys out and putting them back in. The lid is fantastic... he has to pull it up and then push it down... no worrying about smashing fingers! Beautiful colors, very solid and well made.

It's perfect, and to those who keep saying that it doesn't close all the way, none of these toys box will close all the way because its EASIER for those little fingers to open and close the box to avoid squeezing their fingers Smh, its kind of small though

Must have!

Just received this today and I love it! Super easy to put together and in excellent condition. As soon as I assembled it, my almost 2 year old daughter said "Oh wow!" 😂 I wish it was a little bigger but it fits majority of her toys so that's all that matters! She loves cleaning up now, just so she can put her stuff inside. I definitely recommend getting this product!

Love It!!

Very sturdy, and very easy to put together. The lid only opens about 3/4 of the way so toddler can't climb inside, which I personally love. It fits so perfectly with his bedroom decor. The only downside is I wish it was a bit larger to store more toys. But for now it's abosulty perfect.
