THEY ARE GOOD FOR ONE SEASON ONLY.
SO PLEASED THIS WAS A ROUND CUT COVER AND NOT A LARGE SQUARE PIECE OF BUBBLE WRAP THAT HAD TO BE CUT....Ive used these for years..very good at keeping pool clean but when you have a ladder in the pool..yu have to be prepared to cut this top to fit around the ladder and over the top step...I live in az where ots very warm most of the time so i dont need it for "heat" but its windy dry and dusty at times but pool is very clean...I get a new one every season...the bubbles begin to deteriorate after a while..its impossible to roll the cover up with out having the bubbles showing in the sun...i fold mint like a flag fashion to one side and the bungy it to the side...also your filter must be placed in downward fashion..if water gets low filter will be all over the cover and sink it partially...I BUNGEE MY COVER WITH A LARGE METAL HOLDER TO THE SIDE OF A POST DIRECTLY ABOVE FILTER IN CASE THIS HAPPENED "AGAIN"...NOW NO PROBLEMS WITH WATER.

it is a great cover for keeping out sand and debris
This cover really works! Its has raised temperatures by 10-15 Fahrenheit. If the temperature outside is in the 90's and 100's you will have a pool running about 80-85 Fahrenheit from my own observations. It retains the heat during the night really well. Also, it is a great cover for keeping out sand and debris. We have had some pretty windy weather here in New Mexico and it will not blow away, as it just sits snug on the surface. In fact we do not even use the cover that came with our Intex pool as it always ended up coming off and sinking in the pool. Contrary to other reviews I have not had any problems with it tearing or falling apart and I will be storing it over the winter to use again next summer. The cover is a great success and now I do not have to worry about expensive heaters etc. I would highly recommend this product for the price, and I really see no cons in it.

Very pleased so far.
We have an IN GROUND pool, approximately 22' x 15'. I thought I would try it anyway since the price is great even though it says for an above ground pool. I bought one 12 foot cover but think I will buy one more after the summer season is over. We live in SW where temps get triple digits in the day and cooler at night. I like dusk/night swimming to avoid the sun and I wanted something to economically warm the pool on cool nights. So far, we're getting about 5 degrees hotter than it would without the cover. I think with two covers, that should help more, especially in the off season. It gets windy here, but it still stays flat on top of the pool surface without being anchored down. The instructions aren't really good, but I learned a few things. (1) Store out of the sun when you take it off or it will deteriorate. (2) Yes, there are holes in it. They are "weep" holes and keeps the water from accumulating on the top of the cover. (3) it's much easier to get the cover on by yourself if you're in the pool.

Pool pads
I bought 3 of these covers to float in my 32' x 16" pool. They are easy for me to take out by myself and I don't struggle with them at all. The man who sold me my pool heater told me to look into the lily pads for pools... or make them myself. These work the same way. Perfect solution to covering over 1/2 my pool to help retain heat! I highly recommend!

Best Bubble Wrap Ever
The solar cover is great! We should have bought 16 ft round, but a great purchase. Yes, it is very sturdy bubble wrap, but does it what is supposed to do. We did puncture 4 holes 2 inches from the end, so we could loosely tie it to the pool (that way it doesn't fly away with the wind). You want to take off the cover at least 3-4 hours before you go swimming, because the water gets as high as 100 degrees (we live in Tucson, AZ). Great buy!

Economical solution (redneck ingenuity) to warming in ground pool.
I purchased this and also a 12 foot version of same product for my freeform inground pool. We wanted to get it warmed up a bit as we just had it refinished and refilled so the water was a little chilly for swimming. Initially, I looked at the sun rings product. They run around $30 for one 5 ft diameter ring. According to their recommendations, I would have needed approximately 17 of these things! This was my redneck solution to 17 sun rings at $30 a pop. I put the 12 ft one in the wider portion of pool and 10 ft one in narrower. Total cost was about $40 total. In retrospect, I could have bought 2 12 ft ones but it's fine. Some of you are probably wondering, why didn't she just buy a cover that would cover the entire pool? Good question...I don't want to have to store something that large when not in use (most of the time) nor do I want to be out on my lanai wrasslin' a giant sheet of bubble wrap onto or off of my pool. It takes me only a few minutes to get them onto or off of the pool and folded up. I've not yet tried to origami them into the nice zippered bags they came with but it seems like it might actually be possible. I can't speak to durability since I've only had them a short time, but I expect they will be okay since I won't actually have them out and exposed to the sun a whole lot.

Better than expensive ones!
I am so impressed by this cover. I have purchased 3 of these, bubble-type, solar covers and my experience is this: regardless of how much you pay they won't last more than 2 season and on the 2nd year the bubbles start deteriorating and getting into the filter. The last one I bought is $57 here on Amazon and it has good reviews, but I still ended up with the same results. So this year I chose the cheapest cover and determined I'd just throw it away at the end of the season. However, upon getting this I have found it to be even nicer than I'd expected. It has reinforced seams through the middle and all around the circumstance of the cover. I have been using it all week and I am very happy with the ease of use and it's heating ability. The expensive ones I bought did not have the reinforced seams and I am thoroughly impressed. I saved $20 this year and have the best cover we've ever had.

Exactly as described
Fits our 12ft around 30in deep pool perfect! Exactly as described and the holes in it serve a perpous they help the excess air trapped underneath escape so it can sit flush with water. My mother had the exact same one they loved it! So far so good & I would defiantly recommend this product.

WORKS GREAT!!!!!
This works great providing you have sun light and leave it on. We have had it on for 2 weeks. the first week it was extremely cold out, we are in Upstate NY and put our pool up very early. So the first week the water was so cold we couldn't get into it, my 10 year old sure did but her lips would be blue when she got out. So by the end of week 2 and 80 degree weather it is so awesome! I make sure it is on at night EVERY NIGHT. During the day while the kids are in school it stays on and the minute they get out for the day it goes back on. I haven't gotten one for 3 years after reading reviews for other people which now I wish I would never have read. This really works really well if you actually use it the right way. Ours is for a 15 foot pool and our pool is 12 foot around but we just tuck it up and under the blowup part of the pool and it works great! Would recommend to anyone.

Great Cover And Solar Heat Collector !
This is EXACTLY what I needed for my 390 gallon stock tank pool ! This spring I built a 10' X 12' deck around a 390 gallon stock tank that I picked up at Tractor Supply. I knew that I needed a cover for it during down time and decided to give this 10' one a try, especially since it was also designed for solar heat collection. I also went on Amazon and purchased 25' of quarter inch bungee cord for wrapping around the lip of the pool and holding down the cover. Well, I couldn't be more pleased with this amazing cover and was able to go for my first swim on April 29th ! The cover does an excellent job of keeping the pool clear of debris, but I also picked up a $10 seine net for fishing out the stuff that inevitably gets through. I was also very impressed with the heat that this cover collects, which allowed me to go for my first swim of the year in April and every day since. Yes, it's just a glorified version of bubble wrap, but that's okay too, ...this cover is so cheap, affordable, and effective for the price, gosh even if it only holds up for one summer, then I will consider that excellent and I'll just order another one for 2018. Can't go wrong with this one !
