- INSERT the cradle in the CD slot and once it is properly installed this cradle will stay firmly in the CD slot. This is a CD mounted phone holder and it may cover the face of the stereo when it's installed.
- STURDY CD slot phone holder with three side grips design to hold the cell phone tightly. It locates the phone in a much more convenient place to see/touch than the dashboard mounted solutions.
- YOU set your phone in and squeeze the sides in and they stay put. There's a little button on the side that you press to release the sides and your phone pops out.
- ADJUSTABLE for angle of view. The phone holder revolves 360 degrees and pivots to various angles.
- GENERALLY this product could hold your phone in a case or without a case. If the product could not hold your phone well please remove the case (This mount may not very suitable for wide phones with cover case).

Great product and even better customer service!
I got these to use my phone while driving part time for Jimmy Johns last year. It was ok at first, nothing special. I used it in my Toyota Corolla 2014 if that matters at all. However after just a few weeks of using it with my iPhone 8(not a big phone by any measure, though I have a XR now which I haven’t used with this) it started falling off after hitting any kind of small bump on the road. Not cool when depending on it to travel to some persons house/apartment/commercial building that I’ve never been to. It became more and more common that I eventually stopped using it and just had my phone on my lap. By this time I knew the delivery routes better and could more easily rely on Siri/the google lady for google maps. Luckily it was cheap so I’m not too upset, still annoying it didn’t hold up very long. Maybe mine wasn’t built great, I don’t know. Hopefully you’ll have better luck with yours! **Update March 2019 ** They were kind enough to get me a replacement product since the original wasn’t that great. After using the new one for a while it does hold better, even from going over bumps. Great product and customer service!

Works really well!

Very innovative and sturdy
This is an excellent cellphone holder that was so quick and easy to install. I read other people's reviews about being concerned with damaging the CD player, maybe they secured it too much? You have to screw the adjuster just enough so it fits snug, if you leave it too loose then it will wobble around and if you make it too tight then you can obviously damage the CD drive. It was pretty simple and it looks great! I would recommend this to anyone.

GREAT idea! Works very well
I have to admit..when I first got this, I had my doubts. It's lightweight plastic and very unlike any other phone holder I've ever used. But after a month + of heavy use in an SUV that needs some suspension work ( i.e. a rough ride ), this little device has proven itself! Even with a USB cord and headset plugged in, it holds the phone, and it's positioning, remarkably well. It DOES cover up the face of my stereo, but I have steering wheel controls for my car stereo so I rarely, if ever, need to touch the actual stereo...and this may be an issue for people who don't have steering wheel controls. I have a case on my phone, and because of the added thickness the arms that hold the phone in SEEM just a hair short, however, in practice they clamp the phone firmly and in place...it's never fallen out or become loose in my heavy daily use. Without a case on your phone, I wouldn't give it a second thought, it's definitely going to stay put. I think this is one of the best, if not THE best, phone holder I've used. It's convenient, adjustable, holds the phone securely, no suction cups to let go when you least expect it, places the phone in a spot that works great for me, and utilizes something (the CD slot ) that I rarely, if ever, use anymore. If you frequently listen to CD's, well...it's not going to work out too well for you. Otherwise, I highly recommend this.

No longer disappointed, Great Customer Service!
Update 2.8.2018 I've updated the review to 5 stars. The customer service team reached out to me to see how this issue could be resolved. They offered to replace this mount it or try a different model, which is the option I chose. I will review that model separately. In this day and age where customer service isn't great on a lot of products and services, they are a breath of fresh air. They truly care about each customer and want to make sure they are happy with the product. If not, they definitely will make it right. So give them an opportunity, no matter which product you are interested in. You can be sure they will have your best interest at heart and are truly a great vendor at Amazon! Previous Review: I had high hopes for this to mount my phone in my smart, so I could stop using the passenger seat. I love the mounting design and it installed as easily as I read in so many reviews. Unfortunately, the release button rattles terribly whether the phone is mounted or not. I did read reviews that mentioned having the same problem so I was aware it could happen. The button is defective and sticks after pushing it in. I've tried lubricating it but it doesn't help so I have to manually release it every time I take my phone out of the mount, which is obviously annoying. I'm sure I just got one that isn't working right. I am going to return this. I see they make another mount that uses the dash to mount to. I might get that one as it looks sturdier and might be better. I'm disappointed but these things happen so I'll try another one.

A much better alternative to a dash mount
I drive a 2009 Honda Accord and it fits in the CD player opening just fine. I read that some people complained about the noise that it makes, but for me it's fine. It's very sturdy and securely holds my phone (oneplus 3T with an otterbox case). I live in a complex with a lot of speed bumps and it hasn't fallen off yet. I've used two different phone car mounts in the past and both were ones that stick on the dash. Living in Texas where it's hot and humid in the summer, dash mounts tend to fall off very easily. I rarely use my CD player so I figured this would work much better. Also, now my auxiliary cord can reach the phone when it's mounted. Note: to assemble the ball hinge to the back of device cradle, you have to apply a lot of pressure. At first I was worried that with too much pressure it would break the plastic, but after watching 3 different installation videos, I got it to click in. Update: this phone holder worked so well for me that I ordered another one for my boyfriend! He used it today and said that he liked it :)

Best solution out there IMHO, and fits the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 no problem
I've tried just about every car mount type - suction cup, cassette slot, magnetic vent mounts, etc... They all have their pros, but they all have their cons as well. I had been using a magnetic vent mount for a while, but found that the Samsung Galaxy Note was just a little too much phone (big, heavy) for the mount I had. So I tried this one. It was very inexpensive, I figured even if I didn't like it, it wasn't too big a deal and someone else in the family might use it anyway. But I've been really impressed. This mount is solid - way more so than any of the suction-type mounts. The phone doesn't wiggle or vibrate at all. It also puts the phone in a great position for seeing & controlling (that was the big problem I found with the vent mounts, the phone was too far away and couldn't be adjusted to "face" me well enough). I've used it in both my car and my wife's - I did find that it caused some (minor) issues with my wife's car in that inserting the mount into the CD slot made the radio "think" something was inside the player. But not a big deal, just caused some brief issues with the setup. This mount cradles the phone very securely, and the ratcheting "arms" on the sides seem to work great (hopefully long term quality of this mechanism holds up, so far it's been fine though at ~1.5 months of daily use). And the foam inside the arms securely grabs the phone without scratching or causing any worries about damage. If your car has Bluetooth or an Aux port, this is a great solution.Highly recommended!

Worth the money for a quality phone holder.
I purchase cell phone holders every other month for use in my semi truck. Usually costing around $30 each. Most are almost worthless and break within weeks of purchase. The MPOW phone holder actually holds my phone in a convenient location. It vibrates a little but that's because everything in a semi truck vibrates. My initial thoughts are the quality of this holder seems very good, is easy to install and tighten up, and seems solid when mounted in the CD player. I'm very happy then it still allows for easy operation of my stereo. Of course the question is how long will it last? Like I said, I purchased these cell phone holders every other month but this is the first time for the MPOW. This is day one and I will keep you updated on how well it holds.

Incredible little mount... I want to buy them for everyone!
LOVE this CD player mount! (Photos show an iPhone 7 Plus and also purchased for a regular sized iPhone 7) We haven't gone on our trip yet but what I've used it for while driving around town has been a savior to my iPhone! I used to have a Steelie set-up and I had gotten a new phone so the magnet was tossed with the case. Before jumping to getting another Steelie (within 6 months, mine seemed to start sliding and facing down anyway), I decided to look for something new. I heard from a couple people who had a CD player mount that it was "fine" so I figured for a quick purchase and a single trip, it would suffice. Man, am I so happy I got these beauties! I feel like they look more classy than I was expecting too. It twists and turns anyway you want and it STAYS in place! I haven't used the little 3M stickers for gaps because it's hardly been shaking. Our cars had different thicknesses for CD players and they both worked-- 2015 Hyundai Elantra and 2015 Subaru Crosstrek. I say for the price, especially on sale, it's totally worth snatching a mount up! So far this deserves more than 5 stars!

Item as described. Zero customer service.(*UPDATED*)
I purchased this product a couple days ago. It arrived promptly. I was able to easily assemble it via the included directions. It fit perfectly in my CD player as described. However, as this product keeps the little CD player door open my CD player keeps searching for a disc that doesn't exist. It will not switch over to the radio or play a CD with the little door open. So if the choice is to have a cell phone mount or listen to the radio/CDs, I have to choose the music. I attempted to contact the company, as the instructions and website indicates, and my email keeps getting returned/rejected. I had intended to attempt to exchange the item for one that will work for my vehicle but instead just gave it away to someone it WILL work for. UPDATE: After posting this review customer service reached out to me personally and offered to replace the product with a model that would fit my needs. I chose the Grip Pro 2 dashboard car mount. It is working fabulously. At last report the CD Slot mount is still working great for my friend. Patozon has restored my faith and I will purchase from them again.
