A good budget torque wrench
I've been using this torque wrench for a couple of years now. I'm giving it five stars because it is easy to use and (most importantly) seems accurate. To gauge its accuracy, I compared it with another torque wrench and the results were very similar. I have some criticisms, but none would be serious enough to cost it any review stars. After all, this is a budget torque wrench. It would be nice if it gave a clearer and louder click when the torque reaches the set point. The click is rather subtle and I wonder whether other reviewers who have said that it did not work for them simply missed the click. Secondly, it would be nice for portability if it had come in a case designed for this specific model rather than one that is about 50% longer than necessary. But these are minor quibbles: I quickly learned to recognize the click and the case size is unimportant. This is a very good budget torque wrench.

Excellent Product
Capri Torque Wrench 1/4" - Quality tool for a good price. I bought mine $8.50 cheaper from warehouse deals because the plastic was torn on outside of cardboard box. My wrench worked great installing rear shocks and glow plugs on a 1994 Chevy Dually. I am not a mechanic. I would love to know how these buyers are breaking bolts. 240 inch lbs = 20 ft lbs. This is not a whole lot of torque, compared to 40-60 ft lbs. 10MM Glow Plug torque was 15 ft lbs. That was approx. 1/3 turn from hand tight. Take your time to read the instructions, go slow, and feel the break when turning handle slowly. Someone wrote the O does not line up properly. Mine is the same. O does not line up properly on inch lbs side or newton meter side. MESSAGE FOR TAIWAN - WHATEVER YOU ARE DOING IS WRONG! Take your time and try lining up the O for the inch lbs side ONLY, when assembling product. Some buyers complained about case size. I left my instructions inside plastic bag, placed on top of wrench and closed the lid. Tight fit, no movement from wrench inside case.

Nice Torquer
Purchased for very occasional use. The laser etchings are somewhat low contrast (readability), but overall the tool performed very well. Great for when wanting to meet a specification -- not too loose or tight.

Pleasantly Suprised
I will update my review after cranking some bolts down with this but I wanted to give my quick first impressions. I was shocked at how nicely constructed this wrench is. The feel and look are that of a wrench 3 times the price as this. I was expecting Harbor Freight quality and this is on par with Husky or maybe even Craftsman.

Another One for the Arsenal!
I got this wrench in order to properly torque an intake manifold cover in inch pounds. The wrench worked like a charm and was able to remain properly set as I used it. If you are looking for an inch pound torque wrench, you can't go wrong with this one.

My new FAVORITE tool!
This is a fantastic piece. I used it already on so many fasteners to do a valve adjustment on my wife's 04 Honda Pilot. Throttle body, Intake manifold cover, intake manifold, valve cover, rocker shafts, spark plugs, etc..... This is perfect for all those low-torque nuts & bolts. Just multiply by 12 to convert your typical ft/bls into in/lbs. BTW: For spark-plugs, I highly recommend getting yourself a 1/4"-3/8" adapter ($5 for a 5 piece set at Harbor Freight). Then you can use your regular 3/8" spark-plug socket & extensions you are familiar with in all those hard-to-reach spark-plug areas.. Honda spark plugs require only 13lb/ft of torque with anti-seize, and it always bugged me that I could never torque them properly. Those days are gone and I am a happy man. Also the adapter works amazing to get into hard to reach spots with various extensions or deep 3/8" sockets that your 1/4" gear might not reach. This can make all the difference to allow plenty of room for the torque wrench to swing....giving you nice smooth torque applications. BTW: This wrench goes very low. 20in/lbs is light enough to allow you to click the wrench-head just with your bare hands. I found doing this very useful practice for getting a feel for the click mechanism at lower torque settings. Low torque means a very gentle click. Be aware and practice before hand to get a feel for it.

Fine little Wrench
This is a fine little wrench. I have waited years to add it to my inventory, but when the need arose I selected this inch pound torque wrench. It was essential in tightening the 14 10mm bolts securing the oil pan on my BMW R100GSPD. The sequence and progression of tightening is critical to ensure no leaks and this wrench was perfect for the job. Markings are well inscribed and easy to read. A note on the "click": I have read in other reviews and even the manufacturers answers that the "click" is very quiet. Actually the "click" is the release in tension of the knuckle at the end of the wrench when the selected torque figure is reached. It is virtually silent, but can be easily detected if you know what you are looking for. Just be sensitive to it, as the inch-pound torque values can be very small and easily overrun.

Good tool. I wish it came in 3/4
Good tool. I wish it came in 3/4. I use it with an adapter to torque my spark plugs. Worked great. Easy to read the graduations and the tool adjusts with ease. The case is large, but who cares. It protects the tool and cuts down on the cost.

Use 'Good' sockets, no tiawanese toys!
I'm a retired Maintenance Manager so I know the value of properly tightening the bolts. Yes this torque wrench is in Inch Pounds. The torque settings could be in black, easy visibility. I store mine in the plastic case it comes in, with a pack of 'silica gel' (stops moisture) The plastic case keeps the wrench safe n clean! The 'click' isn't real loud, but it is easier to feel it than it is to see a needle on a beam type!

Nice tool, Nice value
A good tool and a good value. Comes with calibration note. Mine works in both directions although the listing doesn't mention that--nice if you have to deal with left-hand threads; that's how I discovered the bonus. Calibrated in both Nm and lb-ft. Good for torques below 20 lb-ft and in tight spaces.
