Shh..... 'How to solve' instructions included!

My son loves it! It is durable, lightweight and the size is perfect neither too big nor small). It came with an instruction booklet that provided you with the step by step instructions on how to solve it. In order to solve the cube, you need to know the algorisms and follow the sequences... The booklet provided the solution. My son learned how to "solve" the cube in less than two-days! We received it on Saturday afternoon - he had it mastered Sunday evening. He chose this particular one because it did NOT have the stickers. It fits nicely in his book bag. This cube will keep you entertained and it is awesome to watch someone solve a messed up cube.

Durable speed cube that is a big improvement over the official Rubik's cube.

I let my 7 year old son play with my Rubik's cube (official Rubik's cube) and he started to get into it, especially after I helped him understand the guide to solve it. However, it becomes frustrating when the pieces jam up due to it not being lined up just right, or become difficult to move. We've seen videos of people speed solving and noticed that they used a different cube. I found this speed cube online and decided to give it a try. I actually ended up ordering two, one for myself and one for him. He and I really enjoy it and find it much easier to turn than the official Rubik's cube. Even if any of the faces are not lined up just right, you're still able to rotate another face easily. It's also durable enough to withstand a 3 foot drop onto hard tile floor. The color orientation of this cube matches that of the Rubik's cube. That is, white is opposite of yellow, green is opposite of blue, and orange is opposite of red. However, the colors are brighter than those on the official Rubik's cube. At first, I didn't like the deviation from the standard colors that I've known the cube to have since I was little, but the brighter colors are growing one me. Overall, I think this is a great cube and a huge improvement over the official Rubik's cube. The faces turn much easier, and there are no stickers to worry about falling off.

Decent speed cube

Lightweight, sturdy construction. Don't let the weight fool you, it's pretty solid. Pieces easily snap together in place and don't come off, but if they do in the event of a fall, just press together and they snap in. Assembly and disassembly shouldn't be hard at all. The surface is very smooth, but be mindful of where you put the cube since the smooth surface can be scratched, but minor scratches shouldn't be visible. It turns very well and comes lubed. Each color side on the middle square is hollow with a cap securely in place, it has a tiny slot to where you can pry it off with your fingers which reveals a screw, this screw can be turned and adjusted for tightness and looseness, which affects how smooth or tight the cubes rotations will be, but don't make it too tight or it will lock up the cube. There is a slight spring noise when rotating the cube because of the mechanism it uses, but it is certainly quieter and less clunkier than a traditional Rubik's cube. Hope this helps.

Just like the other D-FantiX cubes this one is excellent.

I just got it today so... barring any problems I can't foresee in the future, this is a well constructed and super smooth Rubiks Cube and can't find any flaws with it. I had a different one before that was transparent but I felt like it just didn't move the way I wanted it to it was slowing me down so I decided to give this one a shot. It is really nice just like the other D-Fantix cubes so this will be my go-to 3x3 from here on out. These things are awesome I really wish someone would've turned me onto these when I was a kid.

I love this cube

As a beginner cuber I'm not an expert, but I know enough to get me around this cube. The reason I bought this cube was because I started out using a standard Rubix cube to solve, but as my skills got better and I got faster I found that the standard Rubix cube would jam up. Colors: I love the colors because they are very bright, although they take some getting used to. The one problem I have found with the colors is they are very hard to distinguish between in dim lighting. Although the colors match well together and the cube almost seems like it's glowing a lot of the time. Turning: The cube is very nice, right out of the box it turns smoothly and can cut corners well enough for my uses, I am not sure what a good corner cut is because I do not have that experience. Mine did have a little creak in it, I've heard that is because it is a little dry and the mechanism needs to be oiled, but for my use it is not a big deal and it doesn't seem to affect turning capability whatsoever. Turning is quite wonderful and it blows my old cube out of the water. Overall this is a great cube and I highly suggest it as I have been using it for months and I have seen no changes from the day I got it, I love this cube and would buy it again. I have already recommended it to a few friends also just starting to cube.

this is by far my favorite. I know it's a clone

Of my 6 3x3's, this is by far my favorite. I know it's a clone, but CB clones so well. The colors are really nice. The mechanism works wellish. It does loosen up after about 30 solves so you have to go tighten the springs up every once and awhile, but that's not that big of a deal. The cube is a lot cheaper than competitor cubes like the zhanchi. I personally love this as an every day solve. If you want to compete, I'd suggest springing the extra couple of bucks to buy a cube with springs that don't give out so easily.

I ordered this just before I had surgery. I wanted something besides a good book and TV to keep me from getting bored afterwards, and this did the trick. I would actually work on the cube for a couple of hours at a time without even realizing it! Did I ever solve it? No, although I was able to get one side done. I’m back to work now, and it’s put away, but I have more surgery coming up in the future, and the cube will be right next to me once again.

What A Difference!

I'm not very fancy with speed solving, but I wanted a cube that was a step above the standard cube. This one is truly wonderful and moves like a dream when compared to the classic cube. The bright colors are kind of fun too! I had been working on solving my classic cube on and off for a long time. Upon getting this "speed cube" I've spent hours every few days working with it.

Great cube with no stickers that peel. Extremely slick and easy rotation for parts.

Bought this on a whim because I saw how cheap it was. I didn't expect it to be very great but I was previously using the brand name Rubik's Cube and this is so much better than I expected. There are no stickers, so it doesn't wear down and start to fade / peel with constant use. The parts rotate extremely easily (so much that I had to adjust to how slick all the sides were) and I didn't have to do any of the lubricating that is recommended with standard cubes. I've dropped it a few times too without anything breaking or chipping! I'm sure there are some better cubes out there but unless you're regularly solving cubes in under a minute and a half or so there's no reason to spend $30+ on a cube when this one is excellent for under $10.
