We bought this car seat for travel and had it drop shipped to NYC for a week long trip. We made it to/from the airports using public transportation, which do not require car seats (because they are safe without them...). The car seat is extremely light, as it is just made out of a single piece of injection molded plastic. It has an easily removable cover, and it included the single latch strap that works for both front and rear facing, as well as the strap that goes over the top of the seat for forward facing. That is it, 4 parts. Granted, this cannot possibly be as safe as our Graco 4ever car seat that has like 30 parts and weighs 4x as much, but it is a federally approved car seat. Our son is still rear facing at 2 years old, so that helps a lot too, safety wise. Since our son is still rear facing, I cannot comment on the forward facing capabilities... Bottom line is that this should be everyone's "backup" car seat. After our son puked all over his 4ever car seat, we just popped this thing in while we tried to hang dry the 6 separate fabric pieces of that car seat. If another kid is visiting, boom, we can put 2 in the car. When traveling, this thing should be indestructible... I would be afraid the 4ever seat would break itself because of the number of pieces and how heavy it is when a baggage handler would even put it on the moving belt. When traveling, we don't even bother with putting this in a "car seat bag", we just let the airline put it in that standard clear plastic bag... after a trip we just put the cover in the washing machine.

Previously we owned a high end car seat that cost over $300 but noticed it left our LO with little run due to its size. It was also a hassle trying to move it and wash the padding so I opted for a lighter car seat. Trust me when I say this..... don’t waste your money on a high end car seat. More exspensive doesn’t always mean better. What I loved immediately about this car seat is 1. This bad-boy is light and easy to move around. As a mama we already have our hands full so we don’t want a heavy item to maneuver. Second installing it in the car literally took 5 minutes. It’s very straight forward. Finally it’s spacious enough to give our LO room but secure to ensure she is protected. Side note: we live in the south where it get hot.... the padding seems pretty breathable. I highly recommend this item. Just make sure you check the manufacture date upon arrival. Ours is good and second make sure you register it online so they can reach you in the event of a recall. Other than that. Our LO loves it. One holder holds her drink and the other her snack for perfect commuting!!

PERFECT for the airplane. So easy to carry through the airport (I bought a backpack carrying back separately). This is so lightweight! Fits perfectly in the airplane seat (Jetblue, regular cabin). Very happy with it!

A few months in and I LOVE this. I still can't believe what I got for the price. It looks and feels like an expensive carseat. My 1.5 year old, 20ish lb daughter seems to like it and I like the cheerful pink color! She's spilled things in there and it's VERY easy to clean. The cover comes off like any other carseat and it washes without any problem (on delicate, hang to dry). I will be buying another for my son.

I like this seat because there is plenty of room and my 1 year old isn't squished tight from the sides. While it works great for a my grandfather's truck, it is not ideal for smaller cars who need muktiple seats, as it does take up a lot of room. It was easy to install. And the cover comes off pretty easy to clean. I love that the cup holders are built in so there is no need to worry about them coming off. The only thing i do not like about the seat is that the top of the cover does not have anything to hold it in place, so it slides off the frame. I have tried multiple times to pull it back further to keep it on there, but it alqays slides right off. If they have a string to help secure it like most other seats, this issue would be solved.

I ordered 3 of these car seats (pink, blue, and camo). Today we received the pink one in the mail and we just couldn't wait to try it out. My little lady fit great in it with plenty of room to grow. I drive a Ford Escape and I'll be honest when I say it was a very tight fit (rear facing). Once I'm ablet to flip her around forward facing I know I'll love it even more. All in all I'm very happy with it (and the color). I'll update later on after she's in it a bit and let y'all know how it is.

I can't believe we bought a $300 car seat and didn't buy this first. We originally bought it just for travel since it's SO light and if it gets damaged it's not the end of the world. Our two year old actually likes this way more so we end up using this one most of the time. It doesn't have all the little nooks and crannies like our expensive one so I'm not constantly digging crumbs out with this one. Just as easy to install as the rest. DEFINITELY buy,

I bought 2 of these as travel car seats for my 2 year old twins. Our regular car seats are 25 lbs and these are only 11 lbs, so much easier to travel with. I wasn't expecting much because they were so cheap, but bought them based on safety and other reviews. I have to say that I love them. They aren't as easy to install as my other seats that cost 5 times more, but my twins seem very comfortable and safe in them. The straps seem to glide when tightening, which makes it easy to get the appropriate tightness ( one of the most important purpose of a car seat). Plenty of leg room, and 2 cup holders.

We love this car seat. The bright color is fun and the cup holders are easily reachable for my 14month old while he is in it (he loves placing his socks in them, yay for no longer having to search the floor of the van for Socks that have gone MIA). It is a larger car seat, which is great for my big boy, he still has plenty of room. His head does not fall forward when he sleeps, we had that problem with other, more expensive seats with the extra padding. It was also fairly easy to install. So far, 5 months in, we love the seat. Pros: easy to clean, reachable cup holders, spacious, deep sides without pillows so his head does not roll forward when he sleeps cons: deep sides prevent me from reaching into the seat to give him his cup/bottle etc while it is behind the drivers seat. & I can only see him in the kiddie mirror due to the deep sides. Not a lot of padding, but he doesn't seem to mind.

My daughter purchased a vet high end car seat. I bought this one for my grandson and he seems to like this much better he can hold his bottle with ease and he seems to be able to rest better because the seat leans back a little bit more. I believe my grandson is very safe in this car seat. Check the safety guidelines before purchasing
