We love this swing! It glides so smoothly!
I just got and assembled this swing today, but we love it! And more importantly, our 3 month old daughter loves it! We had the Graco Glider LX Lite before, but it was lower to the ground, she was always sliding down on it, and sometimes it would just stop working randomly. I can speak to longetivity yet, but this swing is so much smoother and quieter than any other I’ve had, and I love that it’s almost level to the couch or bed, so I can just reach over and put her pacifier back in or something. And it has 3 different recline positions, so it works for babies as they grow. I highly recommend this to any new parent!

Reviews were mixed on every single swing but I chose this one because he likes when I rock him in the chair glider that we have and it has free returns in case he didnt like it. Guys
I have a big mama's boy. He is 4 weeks old and will not go to anyone for me to take a halfway decent shower. If I laid him down, he'd scream. Even if he was sleeping when I laid him down, he would wake up and scream. He will let my husband hold him for about 10-15 minutes before he starts screaming but sometimes not even that long. My husband is returning to work soon so I knew I had to find something or I was never going to get anything done... we tried all sorts of things. My son hates being swaddled, hates the rock and play, hates his crib and pack and play, and hates his little bouncy seat. He only likes being held by me. Insert this swing glider thingy. Reviews were mixed on every single swing but I chose this one because he likes when I rock him in the chair glider that we have and it has free returns in case he didnt like it. Guys. Of course every baby is different but this has saved my sanity. My husband set it up in about 15 minutes and I put our son in it. He was drowsy but very much awake. Within 5 minutes he was out and slept for 2 HOURS! 2 FREAKING HOURS! I thought maybe it was just a fluke so I waited to write this review until we've been able to use it numerous times and everytime he stays asleep. Now I make sure he's drowsy, if not already sleeping, before putting him in it but still. Now I noticed some people complaining that the swing didnt swing when they turned it on and maybe they had a defective swing, but I noticed that it takes a few seconds to get going... especially if I wrap my son in a blanket and add extra weight because he's already an 11 pound baby, but it definitely glides... I've never used it above a 2. One thing I dont like about it is that you need a battery if you want to use the vibrations option but obviously not a deal breaker for me. It's also very quiet when it glides except when the vibration is on because it rattles the plastic cover underneath the seat. We solved that by shoving tissues under the cover and now it's completely silent!

Swing did not work! UPDATE in review.
UPDATE: I received the new motor today and this swing is awesome! It is a comfy bucket seat for my boy and it glides very well. The vibration is awesome as well. Great purchase with a minor setback in the beginning. I just received this gliding swing today. After spending almost an hour putting it together, it doesn't work. The vibration unit works (separate from the main part.) The music also works. However, it does not swing. I called Graco and they are sending a replacement motor for it to work. The only reason I did not rate this purchase a 1 is because my son is very comfortable in it and actually fell asleep with the vibration unit on. It is also very cute and the seat is soft. I will update this review once I receive the new part. Hopefully it makes it work because I really want to like this swing.

I’d buy two!
Literally the best thing I bought for my baby. I bought everything, multiple swings and carriers. You name it, I got it. This is honestly the best. If I could go back I’d buy two. He will use to sleep sometimes (but still has no issues sleeping in his crib at night) and likes to sit in the swing while I’m prepping food etc and watch me. He feels involved and the egg shape provides him a comfy safe space. Highly recommend

like all have mentioned
My 3 month old niece loves this glider. She’s one needs to be constantly held, & rocked, to sleep. Set-up wasn’t stress-free, however, worth it. Our glider doesn’t makes less noise than the Graco swing we bought. The battery access is, like all have mentioned, a pain to get to, but fortunately for us, it’s rarely used. All in all, glider is sturdy, has many features, and most importantly for our sweet-pea, works like a charm (much better than the swing)!

Excellent swing with a 30 lb weight limit!!
Our 6 month old daughter loved her old swing but it wasn't able to handle her weight anymore. I also needed a swing that was fairly compact due to the lack of space that we have for it. I drove around to multiple local stores looking at different options and reading reviews online. Nothing I found completely had what I was looking for. I found this glider swing on Amazon and like the reviews. Someone had said that this was great for heavier babies so I figured I'd give it a try. I love this swing and better yet so does my baby girl! She is almost 7 months old and over 15 lbs and this glider shows no signs of slowing down. I like that it has a 30 lb max rating as I anticipate my daughter wanting to still nap in this for a while. I also love that it plugs in. We were buying D batteries in bulk for our last swing. The swing is also really compact with a small footprint so it fits in the space we have for it nicely. It is also whisper quiet. No loud motor or mechanism. I anticipate it lasting through any future babies also. I am so pleased with this swing I can't recommend it enough.

Quality product, meets affordability!
I had been looking at baby swings/rockers for awhile. I was looking for quality product at an affordable price. This glider hit the mark on both points! I previously owned a 4moms rocker that was damaged in a flood. So, I wanted something with similar features, but more affordable. The main feature that I like on this is the ability to plug the glider in and use batteries if needed. I also like how compact this is compared to previous Graco swings that I have owned. The only hesitation I had by reading the previous reviews were that it could be difficult to put together. It took me maybe 20 minutes to assemble. The instructions were step by step and clear to understand. The only thing the instructions left out were that, this requires 1 D battery if you want to use the vibration function on the seat. Also, that you need a small phillips head screwdriver. It comes with a allen wrench for the two screws that require it. My daughter loves this glider and I feel it was a great purchase!

SO easy to assemble!
I've never been able to successfully put something like this together by myself, but the directions are laid out so simply with pictures, I was able to conquer this in less than an hour (I think a "normal" person could do this in like 15 minutes honestly). No baby yet to try it out, but the gliding motion is wonderful, and the music level is great on both low and loud ends of the spectrum. Some of the lullabies are creepy and my dog hates the heartbeat sound, but I love this thing. I also think it's higher off the ground than other swings, which is a benefit to me as I have a dog. Another huge benefit is the reclining seat, so if the baby doesn't like the specific 30 degree angle the swing is at, it's adjustable to go further back or farther up; this seems really useful as I've heard some babies hate swings and I suspect it's because of the one angle! At this point I would definitely recommend this product.

Good quality and small footprint
This swing has a small footprint and is pretty quiet. My son likes the built in sound machine also. We ultimately picked this swing because it had the deepest seat and the reclined farther than others.

Yes!
I am a foster mom who has had 17 kids. My daughter LOVES this glider. She is 3 months now and uses this glider every day. There are 6 gliding speeds, the fastest being pretty fast, which was important because I’ve had other swings that didn’t have much force, then when baby gets big, it can barely move under their weight. I don’t care for the sounds that come with baby swings, I always play pandora for them, but this has sounds if that’s your thing- with varying volumes. There is a timer for the swing and the sounds. Which is cool. The seat itself inclined to a few different positions, which is also great for growing baby. It has two vibration setting as well- and wow- the high setting REALLY SHAKES. The lower setting is significant but good for fussy baby. At 3 months (she was 6 weeks premature, though) I don’t use the high vibration setting or the two highest swing settings yet, I think they will be too much for her- but I’m glad they are there because I think as she grows, they will come in handy. My husband grumbled a little putting it together but it didn’t take too long. It seems sturdy. The main reason I bought this one is that the footprint is so much smaller than regular swings- I hate huge pieces of equipment cluttering up my house. This is a great size and doesn’t need so much room in front of and behind it for swinging motion. What else? Straps are good, seat seems Comfy and comes with an infant insert- my daughter was a real tiny gal so we needed an additional insert, but that is not necessary for even normal sized newborns. I’m sure my girl will get a lot and a long time of use out of this. I would recommend 100 times to all new parents!
