I've only had this for about four or five days, but I love it so far! I had a Western Digital My Passport portable hard drive for a while but I kept it in the box for the last year or so that I've had it because I didn't necessarily need the portability (though it was nice to have the option). I decided I needed it to be portable now, so I settled on this case. It came with both a keychain carabiner and a little wristlet strap to attach, but I didn't need either of those. The zipper works nicely, my hard drive fits securely, and the netting on the other side holds the cable to connect it to my computer without feeling like I'm squeezing it too tightly when I zip everything up. The only downside I have is that I have a habit of keeping my hands moisturized, and that means fingerprints can appear on the case. Although that's more of my own cosmetic issue with the case. I'd gladly buy more from Lacdo if I'm in the market for a similar product!

This was bought for a gift. I already have one and just love it. It is a MUST for storing and carrying your portable backup hard drive. It is a hard case to protect you portable hard drive when traveling and just in case it is dropped. It really protects and stores the cord for the device. I also put my flash drives in there so everything is in one place. Waterproof and Shockproof.

This is a solid case with internal shock absorbing padding, hard shell outside, double zipper, wrist strap, solidly attached swiveling leather fob for the included carabiner to clip this to a beltloop or a backpack/notebook case. It fits my Seagate Backup Plus 5TB Portable External Hard Drive, which is a bit fatter that the average 2.5 inch portable drive. There is also an elasticized net pocket for cables. I would certainly buy this again...

Seriously, this is an INCREDIBLE buy! (Especially considering in a retail store these can be anywhere from $15 to $29). This carrying case is fantastic. I bought 2. One was for a WD EasyStore 2g - and it fit perfectly in the case. The other was WD MyPassport Ultra - it, too, fit perfectly. The cases come with a little netted area to hold the cord. It also has a little plastic envelope area (flat) where you can put a piece of paper (I used that with the description of what is on my portable drive). The part that actually holds the drive has bands to keep it secure, as well as a padded cover that comes down on it. They also come with a lanyard and it has a thing on the outside to clip the lanyard to carry or hang it. The outside is hard-sided to protect your drive should you throw it in a suitcase to travel with it. I have paid a lot more for carrying cases, so when I saw these for $7.99, I grabbed them. I am SUPER happy with this purchase! All EXCELLENT!

I keep many extra hard drives in places throughout my house, in my cars, and at the bank (I'm a professional photographer who lost everything to a house fire a decade ago, so I take data redundancy seriously), and these work wonderfully with my WD Passport hard drives. Not a lot to say other than they work great and look good in front of clients.

This little gem fits my Passport perfectly! Even the USB cable (with its proprietary prong) is tucked away unobtrusively. A word to the wise, however: this is for a spinning-disk hard drive--and thus is still more fragile by nature than an SSD. Do not toss this case around cavalierly when you have a hard drive in it. This will absorb some slings and arrows, but not all. Remember, it is still susceptible to mechanical stress from shocks--and of course, electromagnetic fields--regardless of how good the case is. That being said, I can't imagine on how the manufacturer could improve on the case. It performs as well as could possibly be expected.

As advertised. I got the WD passport hard drive and it fits like a glove. Love the extra pockets for cable and two small pockets for SD cards or maybe a flashdrive (if it is thin). Has a clip and wrist strap and good zipper. Looks like exactly what i expected - at a very good price.

I bought the adata ex500 external enclosure for a 2.5 hard drive and I started to search a really good carrying case for it, I found some cases but they sell them for Seagate or other well known brands so I decided to measure my enclosure and search for the interior dimensions in the product details and I found this one. I have to say that I wasn't 100% sure to buy it because it says that the weight is 3.5" and my enclosure is the same weight and I didn't want to run with the bad luck that it doesn't fit well, so I decided to take the risk and buy it and it was a really good decision because it fits tight but with a couple of milimeters extra and I have more length space because my enclosure is 4.8" and this is 5.2" and I like it because you can insert or pull out the enclosure smooth and the thickness of the enclosure is 0.8in and the interior is 1.2" so the elastic band keeps it in place. The case exterior is great and I feel that it protects well. Hope this helps!

Wow, Impressive!!! I ordered this case for my Western Digital My Passport Ultra 2TB portable drive (which measures 4.33" H x 3.21" W x 0.85" D) and this case suits it well. It is a little snug, but it fits great. I even added two SanDisk Ultra micro USB flash drives and it all fit well without having to squeeze the case and force it to fit. The build quality is excellent. The padding and extra storage compartments are a nice touch too. I wish there were more color options but still a great little case and worthwhile purchase. Thanks for the recommendation Amazon. This is most excellent!!!

It fits my Seagate Backup Plus 5TB Portable External Hard Drive USB 3.0, Black (STDR5000100) very snugly which I suppose is the point. I haven't felt the need to cut the internal flap like others have suggested, and this drive is about twice as thick as the Backup Plus Slims. There's even a pair of plastic slots on it to store a USB drive or SD card maybe, and then the netted pouch for cables. I can keep two short USB cables (an A and a C) in it, along with a USB drive and the HDD and it all fits.
