I must say that I wish I had bought this a year or more ago, it is the best thing I could have spent my money on. I have an older car and am short, this fills in the dip in my seat so that I sit level in the car and it really helps my back because I have some back problems as well, and it raises me up so that I can see better. And the material that it is made of makes getting in and out of the car so much easier because of the texture. I

I wasn't sure this cushion would work and alleviate the pain I was having due to my L4 but I have to admit - it works. I still have the sensation that there is something not aligned correctly, but I have no more pain since using this cushion. I have been using it now for about 7 days and am very pleased with the results. Worth the money. I am recommending it to a co-worker who has a similar problem.

Met expectations and saved money in the long run.

I bought this seat cushion as a last resort to correct an extremely painful leg situation. I had purchased a new car ten months ago, but the seat did not adjust like my previous cars had and the position it had my driving leg in caused pain to the point I was going to trade my car in. The first time I used this cushion, I could tell a difference. I am able to drive long distances with the pain. The material and color fits with the interior with my car and is not distracting. The strap is a great addition because it holds the cushion in the correct position and it does not shift while getting in and out of the car. I will be buying additional cushions for use in my other family cars and may even get one to use in my office chair. This is a great product and the company met it's described advertised product.

Not just for car seat

I was searching for a wedge cushion for my recliner due to need to sleep in it and spend large parts of day in it as I am recovering from shoulder surgery. I am short and the nice recliner I bought a couple years ago had not worked well for me because my head dies not redt where the support is on chair. Tried various pillows etc to raise me up but they did not do the trick and were always slipping on the leather seat. I had stopped using the chair. When it was clear that I would have to use a recliner for sleeping etc while recuperating I searched high and low and found this pillow. It is perfect. Very well made no slipping on seat and no movement when I am trying to get in and out of chair. Once I am driving I will get another for the car. While more expensive than other wedge pillows I can tell there is no comparison. This does what you want. Seller has been very attentiive. Buy this if you need sych a pillow.

It really is clever!

This cushion is more expensive than a lot of other wedge cushions, but it's worth it. Here are the differences: --The indentation in the back isn't a hole that goes all the way through. It's more like a scooped-out half sphere. The cushions with holes lose their shape really easily -- they just spread apart. And they have less support on the sides since the interior edges can compress all the way down. I didn't think this was important until after I got this cushion and immediately noticed the difference. --The strap keeps the cushion from shifting side-to-side. Another thing I didn't think was important, but when you have that feature it makes all the difference. --There's no ridge at the front of the cushion, so it doesn't cut into the back of your thigh and press on your sciatic nerve (really, really bad for you.) The cheaper wedge cushion I had before still cut into the back of my leg, but this one doesn't. --The construction is great. It's firm but not too firm. The sides are of thicker, stiffer material which helps the cushion keep its shape. The top fabric is sort of woven so it stays breathable and cool. --There's no smell! Originally I splurged on this because of the great reviews and because I liked the way it looked. I figured if I didn't like it I could return it and get a cheaper cushion. The first time I sat on it, I sighed at how comfortable it was. Worth. Every. Penny. I bought it because I'm only 5'1" and I want to be up higher when I drive and also because I have a slight injury to my right hip, which is aggravated by driving when my hips are lower than my knees. The Clever cushion works well for both purposes. I actually like driving now.

Highly recommend this product--I can enjoy road trips again.

Wonderfully comfortable, soft but sturdy cushion

Wonderful product! I recently got a new car which proved to have a seat that could not be adjusted to a comfortable position. Since car manufacturers seem to think we all want to sit in a deep pit with our knees higher than our behinds, a cushion like this to flatten the seat is vital. Makes my long commute comfortable....and I won't have to trade the car in after all! The cushion is soft, but is firm enough to keep its shape. I've had mine over 3 months now and it has not compressed at all. The strap holding it in place is very helpful too. I definitely recommend this. I'm not planning to ever drive without it again.

The search for the ideal booster cushion is over!

I have been looking for a cushion to raise me up a couple of inches. I have tried many, and I finally found a keeper! It doesn't slide around when I get in and out of the car. It's quite comfortable. I have arthritis with back issues. While I can't say this cushion relieves any pain, it certainly doesn't add to the pain, which some of the other cushions did. My Ford Focus has very comfortable seats, so I didn't buy the cushion to relieve any pain. The wedge shape is perfect. Some other cushions I tried were not wedge shaped. I always felt the end of the cushion under my thighs, like I was sitting on a cliff. Not with this one. Almost seamless integration with the seat. And I can see over the hood now!

Solid product that helped me tremendously

Seriously saved back. The cushioning is dead on. I drive a 2010 RX350 and someone who owner the car before me wore the seat out pretty badly. Driving the truck over an hour and a half to work each way (new) resulted in debilitating pain down my leg for two weeks. 3 days of using it and the pain is gone. I may have liked it a touch more if it covered more of the seat as it does not run the entire length of the seat - but it's fine. Well made product and I'd imagine worth the few extra dollars over the competitors. No lie and I wasn't paid for the review.

More pricey than others, but worth it for the quality, memory foam, removable cover, and the strap to hold it in place.

I waited a couple of weeks before submitting the review. Thick memory foam. Fit Prius just fine, and Prius has "wings" on the side of the front seats. The belt wraps around the back of the seat just fine. Seat cushion stays in place while driving. Comfotable boost for smaller driver . Taller drivers might hit their head on the roof liner of the car since the cushion raises up the driver. Has zipped cover so it can be removed, washed, and put back onto the cushion.
