Comfort, Not Curb Appeal

I can't see how anyone can complain about this product for less than $6 & shipping included. Does it feel kind of cheap? Yes. Is it the sexiest case in the world? No. What this product does provide, however, are significantly improved ergonomics - especially when being forced to use the back touch pad as many PS Vita developers awkwardly incorporate into their games or when using it as a PS4 controller. The case snaps easily into place and even after several hours of extended playtime it didn't creak, shift, or impair controller function in any way. For the price, you can't go wrong. But what if I hate it? It was only $6.

No matter the handheld the ergonomics are always horrible. I decided to go with this grip after finally buying a Vita and finding games on it that were actually really good, to the point I could play for hours. Didn't want to deal with the pain of holding the thing like I did my PSP for all these years. This grip looked the best out of all I looked at, especially since I could still access all ports and buttons. Some others cover the whole bottom and you can't charge, really?! Not so with this one. My system stays locked in really well, and it's much nicer to hold. The little kickstand pegs are a nice touch, but really only for watching movies. Tap near the top and it'll fall back still, but I've got a nice portable stand for my tablet I just use. The plastic is kind of cheap feeling, not as noticeable once on the system though. And the seams are kind of "sharp", but a couple minutes with a dremel or even a nail file will smooth things out nicely. Highly recommend this grip if you're busy getting an oled Vita or are looking for a new grip because your old one broke. Now to just find a case this'll fit in since I just have the Sony neoprene sleeve.

It is like night and day.

I went from playing on my Vita every other week to pretty much every day on my break at work and every time I use the restroom. This is probably the single biggest quality of life improvement you can make on your Vita gaming experience.

This one is good !!!

This is very good for holding the ps vita with some focus but using it without it at times seem like you could break the slim ps vita from gaming hard. Pros: Easy grip and it fit the slim comfortable easy to use Cons: No R3 or R2 button on the grip but it will make using the item better ( IF YOU GO WITH THIS ONE OVER THE R2/R3 ONE) Could move up in with the slim version but its really for ps1000 version

This makes a huge difference.

Wow, what a difference it makes when you can hold the Vita without touching the back touchpad and cramping your hand. It feels a bit more like a dualshock now and way more comfortable. While it is true that it feels a bit cheap, once you snap it onto the psvita, which is very easy I might add, it adds a nice weight and feels just fine once it's on. For the price, it's totally worth it, just make sure to snap it on gently, shoulder buttons first.

Great grip, great price.

It fits great in your hands. The texture is hard plastic but so what. I've bought grips and trigger grips for much, much more but they didnt feel comfortable in my hands. I took a gamble with a cheaper grip and its the best one I have for my Vita. Good buy for my hands. money well spent.

super comfortable

i enjoy the little feet included with the grip, it is a difficult to get them out, used an iphone charger to push them out, you could use a pen also. they don’t stand very well on non flat surfaces. grips are well made and makes holding the vita much more comfortable. excited to get a few games in

Worth it

Greatly improved the grip and overall comfort level while playing with a PS Vita system. The system fits snuggly inside the plastic case and leaves plenty of space for me to access the charging port and game card slot.

Great product love it, comfortable , fits well but be careful I dropped it once and the think plastic near the top bumpers broke I glued it but it’s thin plastic there other than that I love this product

Inexpensive but Quality product

The PS Vita is hard to hold even with my small adult hands so I went in search of a grip and found this product! Works well, must pull out the stand tabs all the way for it to lock and stand up properly. Easy on and off nice snug fit. Feels good in the hands and not too bulky. Even my fiance who has hands twice the size of mine says he can hold it comfortably.
