I love these, Darn it.

I do think these are richer than they used to ...

I do think these are richer than they used to be, before the original company closed, but I always got them from bakery thrift stores back then so they could have just been stale. Point is that these are too rich for me to eat three at once now, but I am getting older and don't eat as much sugar now.
