Absolutely the best burn care (I found out the hard way)

I suffered severe burns across the palm of my hand, just short of 3rd degree burns in some areas. Meticulous wound care healed my hand, after more than a month, fortunately without more aggressive medical attention. The pain and the slowness to heal were both almost unbearable. Also, many other dressings became desiccated or seeped around the edges, making a terrible mess. I was already very handicapped from the pain and bulky dressing. I discovered Burn-Fix a few weeks after the accident, and it totally changed everything for the better! Dressing changes were rapid and neat. The dressing was still amply moist 24 hours later, and the pain relief was indescribably wonderful. I wish the ingredients were listed. I try to be careful about what we put on our skin, but in this case, Burn-Fix is a miracle product for a very debilitating injury. I am so grateful for Burn-Fix. I now keep several pads in the kitchen, the car and in the camping gear.

A must have for every household!!

I had a freak accident making dinner one night that left me with what I believe to be 2nd degree/borderline 3rd degree burns covering a good portion of my back and left shoulder. Some spots blistered almost immediately. I don't have health insurance so the thought of going to the hospital and racking up endless bills was just as excruciating as the burn. I'm no doctor and everyone should do what they think is best but I decided to try these. This stuff works amazingly. Overnight the purplish burns started to pinken up. It cools the burns so nicely. That gel some people complain about is the good stuff. The smell is not so great but since this actually works, I don't mind it anymore. My dad had bought me 2nd skin at Walgreens and even though it works, I found it expensive for a tiny 2x3 patch in comparison.

The Best

The best product on the market. I am in emergency medicine, plus I volunteer on a First aid team for major events, plus I am a pre-med student. I have tried so much different products to treat burns and by far, this product beats all other products hands down. Plus the customer service is top notch and the shipping is lightning fast.

Thinking these can be cut smaller and save the rest so they would go farther

Thankfully, I have yet to burn myself since I purchased these burn care treatment packs. It sure is nice knowing that I have them around though. I opened one of the packs just for this review as you can see in my video and one thing that I noticed that surprised me is there's hardly any smell which is nice since Tea Tree is usually pretty strong. The pad itself is white 4" x 4" with a spongy texture and lot of *for lack of better word* GOO inside.The photo of it on the white plate looks darker than it really is as I had to adjust the lighting so that you could see it better. It is not sticky at all. It looks & feels soothing just like aloe vera (you can see how wet my fingers are in my last photo). I'm thinking that for small burns, I can cut the pad and use my Foodsaver to keep the rest fresh. I would just make sure to keep my hands and the rest of the pad super clean while cutting & putting away. The pad does not have any kind of adhesive, which you wouldn't want to put on a burn anyway so I figure the next burned in our house I will just loosely wrap and Ace bandage over and around it so it will stay put. I am in extreme klutz so I know that eventually I will burn myself again and after that happens I will come back and add to my review to tell how it works. For now I'm giving it five stars based on what I saw and felt on the product itself. I am happy that I was given the chance to purchase these at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review.

Great addition to my first aid kit!

Purchased for a first aid kit ... Haven't used it yet, hopefully won't have to. I'm prepared now should it be needed. Self explanatory instructions. This was actually purchased from a recommendation of a family member of mine. Can never be too prepared for emergencies when you're hiking in unpopulated areas.

Fantastic burn bandage

Fantastic burn bandage. Burn my forearm grilling and it has been a lifesaver. The only minor con is the smell is pretty pungent.

Not what I thought it would be

IT's very messy. Very liquidy. The pad is more foam-like than gel-like.

Great Product

Great product! Was looking for something like the one my husband uses from the military. This was not bad, did it's job. Didn't like how messy it was but thankfully I had some dressing left over to use :) Will order again to keep in the cabinet

Awesome Product

I ordered Burn-FIX twice from Amazon. I just completed my CERT training as well as my CPR and First-Aid Certification and I carry the Burn-FIX in both of my emergency disaster packs and keep some on hand in my home. The company did a great follow up to my orders and included some great FYI on product usage in time of an emergency dealing with burn injuries.
