Solid, sturdy
I moved 26 years worth of household belongings and junk from one home to another last month. It took several months to sell my house and find another, so my packing process took place in a series of efforts -- and box orders -- over time. In all, I purchased approximately 350-400 boxes of various brands, shapes and sizes. I found the Bankers Boxes to be the sturdiest and most secure. I wish I'd started with Bankers. I wound up with 2-3 sets of excess boxes (Bankers, of course) and would have much preferred to have used these than the other brands (Office Depot red box equivalents).

Durable, inexpensive, Prime. Stack and pack well. Can't complain!
Incredible boxes, and amazingly low priced. I picked them up in the 20 pack for less than the $2/box they are now, but I would order more in a heart beat. A great value, and having moved across the country several times, I can attest using boxes like these in the past. I've tried the cheap ones from Staples/Office Max, and they don't hold up. High end Bankers Box storage boxes are great, but very expensive. These are a great blend of low price ans solid build. The ends and Bottom are double sided, and inter-twined as you would want. so the sides hold the bottom up. I've filled with heavy dishes, to the brim with books, even a garage use full of nuts and bolts, all of which are no issue. As many times as I've moved, one secret I've learned is bigger is not better. You won't fit a comforter, or a large serving platter in these, and for somethings you need big boxes. But having a large quantity of small boxes, uniform size, makes moving much easier. They stack nicely to maximize space use in a truck or storage locker, and can be picked up easily (you can't make them too heavy to lift) and transported on a dolly stacked well.

AWESOME boxes for pre moving packing
I bought these boxes in preparation for moving. Last time I moved I did it with a motley assortment of old boxes and THIS time I wanted to do it in a more orderly fashion. I've always loved bankers boxes and felt that it was worth the reasonable splurge- and BOY was I glad I did! These boxes are fantastic- some reviewers said the boxes were flimsy- I have not found this true at all. They are the PERFECT size for packing away anything from dinner plate to books and any odds an ends you need to pack away. You can REALLY fill these boxes and not compromise them- you can fill and I mean FILL them with books and these boxes just hold up. sturdy handles and all. They came in another box- (btw that box was perfect for storing picture frames) and the bankers boxes were very easy to assemble with clear folding lines. Perfect boxes for my needs.

I Love These
I love these boxes. I add packing tape across the bottom in both directions just in case. I have probably ordered over 100 of them. be advised that ordering a pack of twenty is usually cheaper than ordering two boxes of ten each, though the price fluctuates at times. These small boxes are great and I find the medium size to be a bit too big for me to lift easily when filled, so, to me, it seems better to have more small ones than less medium or large ones, and be able to lift them and move them more easily. Great product.

Great boxes. My roommates made fun of me for ...
Great boxes. My roommates made fun of me for buying "fancy, expensive" boxes online instead of scouring local businesses for used and free boxes. However, when they saw how sturdy these boxes were, how easily they stacked, and how nice they were to carry, the teasing stopped and they started asking to borrow some. Once you figure out how to put them together it was a breeze, and I bet they will last a long time (even though I hope I don't have to move again any time soon).

No tape required makes my day
Maybe it's me. While tape doesn't seem to adhere properly to cardboard for very long, it does a remarkably good job at adhering to various parts of the anatomy — necessitating a painful removal procedure. These tapeless boxes are the perfect solution. Movers love them because of the hand-holds. Assembly is quick and (almost) idiot-proof. Face it. Moving is a pain and sometimes traumatic. These take some of the drama out of the ordeal.

... moving a few blocks and needed some quick and easy boxes that I could haul in my car
I was moving a few blocks and needed some quick and easy boxes that I could haul in my car, as well as leave heavier items for the movers. These were incredibly easy to put together, no tape required, and saved me a ton of time. The larger boxes were especially great for taking items in my closet directly off the rack, hanger included, and folding them over once to put them in the box. Then at the new place, it was easy up with the hangers still there. They were also incredibly easy to deconstruct and throw in the recycling bin after the move -- and cheap enough that I didn't feel like I had to save them for the future. That said, it's good to know what to expect. If you are moving across the country, or have a ton of heavy items, these are probably not suitable. I did find a few cases where my movers placed smaller heavier boxes on top of the larger boxes, and these started to cave in a little as they are more structurally sound if you stack similar sizes and keep heavier boxes on the bottom.

If You Buy Other Boxes, You Are Well And Truly Screwed
My special lady friend and myself have completed a move, just this past two weeks, and were it not for these boxes the whole experience would have been EXPONENTIALLY more difficult. I will probably (very probably) never use anything else again. Pros: The Small Box is sized perfectly to handle 80% of the things in a normal home. Books, knick knacks, clothes, electronics, office supplies, dishes, etc. And they're simple, solid, expertly made, easy up and down assembly, perfect as can be. The Medium Box was great for those slightly more irregular or larger items like my dog's toys, large kitchenware bowls or whatnot, blu-ray player, etc. The Large Box was a godsend for transporting linens, comforters, pillows, sheets, a large flatscreen monitor for my computer, etc. Cons: Honestly and truly none. There are no downsides to these--and I speak from some experience with other boxes that lose structural integrity over time or don't stack well or aren't easy to break back down. None. These are perfect. Buy them. Stop thinking about it and order 2 dozen and get on with life, mate.

moving? get these!
just moved and these made it oh so much easier - they arrived on my doorstep in time (thanks, amazon!) and fold up easily, and are super sturdy and with handles. if you need a box that entirely closes, these wouldn't be the best pick, as the handle openings compromise a full enclosure, but for short moves, they are PERFECT. once unpacked, you can fold them flat again and store back in the box they came in for your next move, or to pass along to a friend in need. i'd researched the plastic reusable rental totes and the timeline and price were prohibitive, as much as i'd like to save trees. these are a great alternative; highly recommended!

Bankers Boxes are saving my back, and more!
I HATE MOVING WITH A PASSION!. So this time, I decided to spring for some good moving and storage boxes, rather than the usual liquor and grocery store discards. What a difference! My friend and I sat and chatted as we assembled them, which made it go quickly. We packed up my 7 large bookshelves' contents in no time. They were all packed labeled, stacked and ready to go, in about 2 hours. The boxed are very sturdy and are suitable for storage, as well as moving. My favorite thing about them are the oval hand- holes cut into the end panels of the box, making it a piece of cake to move them. Or maybe my fave is the precision of the way the lids snug down to the top of the box. It won't blow off or let the box collapse from the weight of its contents, unless maybe if you are moving bars of gold. But then, I deliberately bought the smallest size Bankers Box, so they wouldn't get too heavy for me to carry. They stack beautifully. I stacked 20 boxes in a hallway in a 4 x 5 grid, and it's very stable. I think the modest cost is more than justified, given how they are making this move so much easier. Did I mention how much I HATE moving? lol If I ever have to do it again, I'll purchase Bankers Boxes first thing. Oh yes, I didn't even buy their designated "moving boxes.". I just got the regular lidded boxes, which are more than sturdy enough. Since I'll have to store some stuff, these will protect my things until I can get them sorted out. I would urge everyone to buy these terrific boxes.
