Punch worked well enough for my needs. Customer service is a winner.
Pro: It is a roll pin punch, and at a good price. This company stands by their product. Con: it is made out of a soft metal, and was pretty much single use I was using it to drive out and then replace two soft roll pins. They needed a little "motivation" from a hammer. in so doing, the punch started to bend heavily, and is now just about unusable. I was able to get both out, and back in, so it worked this one time. ----------------- Update 9 April 2016 ----------------- After I originally put this review here, I got a response from Tekton. Their rep said that using a rubber mallet may have been what caused the pin to bend. Surprisingly, their rep offered to replace the pin. Because of their willingness to stand by their product and even offer a replacement, I bumped this pin up to five stars.

The right tool for the job.
Most of all this punch was the right size to remove the roll pin in a 70's era Troy-bilt tiller wheel. It was fong enough to reach the roll pin in the hub and I easily tapped it with my hammer an th e pin came right out. I have not used it to reinstall the pins yet, but I am sure it will do just fine.

Great product, even better company! (Tekton that is)
Great tool, even better customer service! Ordered work on my Barretta 92fs compact slide, which uses the 1.5mm roll pins. This 1/16th, though larger then 1.5mm, worked just fine. The original punch arrived with a deformed head (manufacturing mistake, easy to miss when the tip is soooo small!) but Tekton customer service had me send it in for a OVERNIGHT replacement <- Talk about customer service right?!? New punch worked fine, exceptional quality! Do yourswlf a favor and just order the Tekton on Grace USA punches right off the bat - if you order the China knock off it will just fail when you need it most and you'll have to wait for a replacement putting your AR/pistol/whatever build on hold until you get some quality tools. One last item of note..... If the pin is seized, don't beat it to death with this punch- check out the grace USA short punches and start it with that, then drive it home with this longer punch to avoid bending them like I see in wayyyyy to many reviews for pin punches. Good luck guys!

Great punch
I had heard that Tekton was shipping new punches and needed a #1 punch recently. Enter this item. When it arrived, I was immediately impressed by it; it was well machined/forged and finished. I had a project in mind for it, and it worked well. No problems at all, including no bending with a small lateral load on the punch. Frankly, I liked this punch more than the Craftsman set it sets next to in my toolbox. An additional benefit: for those of you for whom country of origin is important, this one is made in the USA. This was a fine punch which I would not hesitate to purchase again. Update 1-15-16: Since my original review, I have used the punch twice more on precision work with a firearm. I have to say that it works well and entirely meets my expectations.

Ideal for Glock disassembly
I needed a pin punch to take apart, & make upgrades to, my sidearms and I didn't need a whole set of them. The glock tool (with black handle) was a cheap piece of junk and bent quicker than a cheap wallet. This did what I wanted and I would say that I'd buy it again, but I shouldn't have to.

1/8, 5/64,1/16 and 3/32 - work great - strong enough to do the job!
I got no idea how some fools bent/broke these... They have worked flawlessly for my ar build.. I begin to think some people that 1 stared the smaller punches must... MUST of used a BFH instead of a small jewler's hammer (thats all you need!) If you can't get it installed with a brass/nylon tipped hammer you don't have it lined up right. Short sweet taps are all you should use on the smaller ones - ie:1/16th thick...

Good Stuff
The 1/16 roll pin punch was just what I was looking for to remove the rear sight pin on my old GCNM. Hell - I used an old claw hammer with it. I didn't strike the punch - I let the weight of the hammer head gently fall about 1/4 inch onto the punch and tap, tap, tap. Carefully and patiently walked the pin out as nice as could be. No damage to the punch and most importantly no damage to my gun. Reasonably priced, fast delivery, and nicely packaged. Happy that it could be bought individually because it's not something I'll use very often.

Good product. Recommended
Quality made, good length, and a perfect fit. This is a hard to find size and many of the older guns - circa 1910 - use this size for their pins. I got several and ground down the roll pin bump on a few of them at the end to make this into a flat pin punch. Tekton make strong steel punches.

Good tool
I tried a cheap punch and wrecked my roll pin I was trying to extract. Bought this to finish the job. This is not a cheaply made tool, has heavy weight metal and better tolerances to the shape. This did not deform inside my roll pin like the cheap tool. Also, this came in a tube that was labeled, makes it easy to keep it clean and prevent damage to the tool when storing with all my other tools. Highly recommend.

Awesome tool.
If you are looking for a tool that doesn't bend or break with minimal force then this is the one you have been looking for. I had purchased 2 separate full sets of punches and roll pin punches which promptly failed with my first attempt to install a Springfield Armory scope mount to my SA M1A. Pin became wedged and when I tried to hammer it out with above said punch, it broke. Once I had this tool in hand as well as the replacement of all other pertinent size punches, ether job was a breeze. I recommend this product to all who prefer quality to cheap. Thank you, John
