I can't say enough great things about this kennel
I can't say enough great things about this kennel. My friends and I have been fostering dogs for years. Our homes are set up to quarantine animals and keep them safe while we are at work. I have three of these kennels. One in my garage (for isolation) and two in a room addition I built for my foster dogs. They are sturdy and larger dogs respect this enclosure. Before I was using exercise pens. The issue with those are that if pee touched the edge the bottom of the pen was covered in pee. Hard to clean etc. These kennels are raised so they can easily be mopped under. This kennel has made my life so much easier!!!!

This Kennel is Nice, Sturdy, and Affordable. My dog loves it!
Let me start by saying that Amazon had the lowest price by far for this Kennel. I paid $245 and free shipping (Prime). It is a large item so I had to wait about a week but I waited another week to put it up anyway so...well worth the free shipping. Now that being said, My dog, a fully grown German Shepherd loves this kennel. You are supposed to acclimate your dog a little everyday, so we started with 30 the first night, he didn't want to get out. Also, he doesn't like for you to touch it if he isn't in it. Now, as far as quality goes, this kennel is lighter that the weight of the box would have you to believe. Together, it is very heavy but each individual piece is light. It took me and my dad about an hour to put together. Once together and fully assembled, the manufacturer suggests you anchor it. And after following all of the instructions, the kennel is very sturdy. "Loki" stands up with his feet on the sides, regularly and there is no give whatsoever. We had rottweilers before my GSD and they were in a chain link kennel. They leaned on and distorted the sides so much that the kennels could not even hold our small Pomeranian. I do not foresee this issue with the Lucky Dog Kennel. This was a purchase that I do not regret at all!

Just what we needed
I like this very much, I first thought chainlink fence was the way to go but didn't like the reviews. I saw the reviews on this fence and they were much better and I see why. We have a 3 month old Lab that we need to contain when we're at work. I like that they can't quite get their mouth around the wires due to the spacing where in a chainlink they would and probably bend the wires like I read on some reviews. Very easy to build, my husband and I probably spent an hour. The cover is great, very sturdy and will protect against rain and sun. Ours was the 8' long x 4' wide x 6' high.

We use it for our indoor cats to be able to have some outdoor time. Had a contractor attach to an outbuilding where the cats stay. The cats LOVE it! We added a few extra clips at the top for a little extra peace of mind.

Good quality for the price!
I just put this together and I'm feeling great about the quality of the pen. I bought this for indoor use for my 18lb pug to stay in while I am out of the house. He managed to learn how to escape from the cloth pen that I had previously bought for him, and this one seems much sturdier and escape proof. I am able to keep his food, water, potty pads, and bed all in the pen so that he is comfortable when I am away for several hours at work. There are no plastic parts like the description says, and the canopy is made of quality materials that fasten securely to the top of the kennel. I don't think that any dog will have an easy time escaping from the top or ripping the tarp. Since I am setting the pet resort on carpet, I bought another tarp to protect the floor from spills and other messes. I think the height of the pen will work for my dog since he is a small breed. If you have a big dog, s/he might be a little cramped. On the negative side, the gate latch seems very easy to open, and your dog might learn to open it if s/he is very determined to get out. I also wish that there was easier access to the inside of the kennel to clean up spills or messes. The only way of entry is through the gate, but if I couch or get in my knees and crawl in, I can fit through the gate easily even though I am 5'5" and weigh 200lbs. Overall I am very satisfied with this kennel, both by the quality and the price!

Love it.
I really like this kennel. I bought two of them and put them together for my foster pit. She is very mellow so it is perfect for her. If she was higher energy I might need the 6ft tall one. My husband put it together easily, he did it so it ended up being 4x10 which means a 2ft panel isn't covered, so we just covered it ourselves. If we ever foster a higher energy dog we could remove the open panel and make it the 4x8. Either way, I am so glad I purchased this.

Definitely like this, easy to put together and sturdy
Definitely like this, easy to put together and sturdy. Used this for a cat enclosure, attached redwood boards for a ramp and perches. Bought wood brackets to attach wood to sides with screws and used welded wire fencing over the top & under the tarp to keep cats from escaping. So far they like it & haven't gotten out. Do plan to put a enclosed walkway from window to enclosure so they can easily go in & out.

I was not disappointed! It is easy to put together
I purchased this because of all the informative reviews. I was not disappointed! It is easy to put together, solid, and the covered roof is nice. I left one panel off and leaned the cage against the side of my house with the open panel over my doggie door. It's perfect for what I needed: a secure area big enough for a dog potty box and safe from the wildlife. My three Chihuahuas also love that they are covered from the rain.

Awesome Cat Enclosure!!
I bought the 6x4x8 cage to use as an outside enclosure for my two 12lb cats. I was expecting this to be great, but it is more than great, it’s freakin awesome! I wanted a safe place for my cats to enjoy the outdoors, something affordable, secure and easy to take apart if I decide to move. This cage is PERFECT! I was prepared to need to reinforce all the gaps with chicken wire, but this has been totally unnecessary. The gaps on the bottom, between the panels and next to the door are nowhere near big enough for my cats to squeeze through. There is no way my boys are getting out of there. If I had a kitten or a rabbit, I wouldn’t be so confident, but my cats aren’t tiny. When the cage arrived I took the panels out and to my back patio, had the cage up in 30ish minutes by myself. Super easy. The 6x4x8 is plenty big for what I wanted, the cats have a lot of room and I can stand up in the middle. The cage did come with a black top, but I chose not to use it because I wanted the cage to feel airy and open - and wanted my cats to be able to look up at the birds, squirrels and bugs. I was going to put some regular chicken wire over the top, but when I went to the hardware store they had some green plastic chicken wire, like thick plastic netting. It was much lighter, more pliable, wouldn’t snag my hair or scrape me, it's some good stuff. I secured the green plastic chicken netting with a million zip ties. There’s no way they’re getting out through the top. For the ramps and perches, I used 1”x8” boards. To secure the boards to the cage I bought some screw hooks and screwed them into the ends/sides of the boards so they could hook over the cage wires, and be easily repositioned if needed. I bought a couple cheap outdoor rugs at Walmart that I cut and tacked on top of the boards so the fur balls would have a comfy place to chill out and could get up and down the ramps easier. It’s perfect for them. They luxuriate in the warmth outside, chase bugs, meow at the birds and squirrels that taunt them. I can also keep my back patio doors open and enjoy the fresh air without worrying about my cats escaping. They’re very happy and I’m very happy!
