Definitely need to have sex on peak days....I’m pregnant after 3 cycles.
I’m 37 and it took me 3 months to get pregnant. I already have a 5 year old. I recently suffered a stillbirth at 23 weeks (back in April 2017) and after trying to get pregnant in August with no luck, figured I would go back to Clearblue for help via their fertility monitor. To get pregnant with my 5 year old, I used this monitor (older version) and got pregnant on the second cycle. With my current pregnancy, I believe it took 3 cycles to get pregnant because the previous 2 cycles I did not have sex on the peak days. The cycle I got pregnant, had sex on the first peak day. My advice to couples is that this monitor is a good tool to have but ensure you have sex on either one of the peak days or both to maximize your chances. Also, it’s a bother but try to chart your basal body temperatures. It will help you to ascertain whether what the monitor has told you is correct. A mistake that I had made with the monitor was to set the testing window at 5am - 11am which meant I could test anywhere between those hours. The problem with that is, if your LH surges at let’s say 1pm, you would have missed your opportunity (if you have a short surge) and by the time you test the next day, the monitor may not show the peak (since the LH surge was short). So, what I did the cycle I got pregnant was to change the testing window to start at I believe 12pm and I would test at 2pm instead. That gives the monitor the opportunity to better catch the LH surge. The monitor is costly and the sticks are as well but totally worth it in the end. I also used the clear blue digital to get my positive. Good luck to all couples trying to conceive. Be patient, be positive and definitely take your prenatals when trying to conceive.

A+++++++
Being super Type A, I was unable to leave anything up to chance and decided to bite the bullet and purchase this monitor. I am SO happy I did! Initially, I wasn't impressed because it wasn't detecting a surge and I was almost to cycle day 20. I started thinking I either wasn't ovulating or this thing just wouldn't work for me. Well, low and behold, it finally detected a surge on day 22 and I ovulated on day 23. I would have completely missed this window had I not stuck it out with this thing! Our first born is due May 11th <3

I love this!
This is my 2nd Cycle using the monitor. It was pricey and you do have to buy the sticks... but totally worth it! The first cycle it had me use twenty sticks. On my 2nd cycle it adjusted to my body and has only requested ten. I get a few high days, followed by two peak days, one more high day, and then low. I have been ovulating later in my cycle than I thought. Hoping this month is our BFP. If you want to take out any guesswork and feel confident about ovulation, I highly recommend this. I have had not one issue with it and don’t understand how some reviews do... maybe user error. This think is awesome, and I am so incredibly happy with the purchase.

So thankful I bought this
We have been trying to get pregnant with our second child for 2 years, 2 very long years. I came across this monitor that's afordable so I decided to go ahead and try it. It was the best decision ever. This is the end of the first month using it and I just got my positive pregnancy test. If you have any doubts about it pull the trigger.

Success! We are PREGNANT!
My husband and I are an older couple who found each other later in life. Since we were beginning our journey to start a family a bit later than others, we knew there might be some challenges. We tried for several months with cell phone apps but since my cycle is variable, nothing was really happening. After talking with my sister and reading the reviews for this monitor, I decided to give it a whirl. What could it hurt right? Well, after feeling like a science experiment day in an day out....we got pregnant on the first cycle! I couldn't believe it but after three pregnancy tests, it was real :). I don't normally write reviews but I wanted to encourage all the future moms out there that if you're struggling and facing some challenges getting pregnant, give this monitor a chance. You won't regret it!

Impressive! Worked very first time!!
I don't usually write reviews unless it's a negative experience but I'm so impressed with this product I felt the need too! We lost our last baby at 8 weeks in May of 2017. And with the help of a Period tracker app, we've tried and tried to conceive with no such luck! So after coming across this product one day, I told my husband about it and we decided to give it a shot. Had to wait for my next cycle to start using it. Lo and behold it showed me I was ovulating very early! So now it's been a little over 2 weeks since ovulation and we're expecting again!!

Detected a problem, verified by testing at doctors office.
I have been using this monitor for 3 months now and every month it would detect a estrogen rise but never a LH surge. After this happening 3 months in a row I went to the doctor, and sure enough, I was not ovulating due to low progesterone. Will hopefully be starting medication to correct the imbalance soon, and will continue to use.

Accurate and Easy to Use
In my experience, this monitor coincides with regular opk's and temping. I've used it for one cycle so far. The monitor asked me to use a total of 10 sticks, and I used first morning urine. I received two initial high days, two peak days and one final high day. I had a positive opk the evening before my first peak day, and my temperature confirmed ovulation on the second peak day. Here's to hoping I don't have to use this monitor again for at least 9 months! Update: BFP at 11 dpo! I only had to use this monitor once! We dtd on each high and each peak day, and it worked. Hopefully this baby will stick!

It really works! In our case a little too well :)
I read about this monitor in the fabulous book “an impatient woman’s guide to getting pregnant”. We figured it would take us a long time to get pregnant (due to family history of troubles) and after using this monitor for 2 weeks I had a positive pregnancy test and am now 12 weeks in. We weren’t quite ready to have a kid just yet, but sometimes life just happens! All my friends I’ve talked to have never heard about the clearblue monitor, which makes me really wonder how much easier of a time women might have if they knew about this magical little device. Yes, it’s annoying peeing on a stick every morning, but not the end of the world. Can’t recommend this device enough.
