I needed to purchase a new flashlight for work( a requirement)and I've seen versions advertised on TV so added this to my basket to complete order; Glad I did. I actually had to use my new flashlight the night I received it. By the time I came home that evening, which was cloudy and really dark, I needed to move the trash can from end of driveway back to the side of my house, an area that doesn't have any lights (yet) and a lot of trees. So I came in, open package, put in some batteries and went back outside. WOW! It's bright and illuminated the entire area/ side of house and trees. Never thought a flashlight could make me a happy consumer, but I'm going to order more of these for home and cars. Thanks!

I've purchased and reviewed several of these small, inexpensive “tactical” flashlights offered at Amazon. The two most important factors for me are brightness and cost. This generic is exceptionally bright and, of all the flashlights I've purchased in this class, is the best buy for the money. When comparing brightness, I do not consider the seller's claim on lumens. Those claims can be exaggerated and misleading. Instead, I take the flashlights into a dark room, get the light beams on a wall to the same size from about the same distance, and then compare brightness. The only other flashlight in this class that MAYBE has a brighter or better light beam is the Coast Coast HP7 Focusing 360 Lumen LED Flashlight. But that flashlight currently sells for $32, whereas these are under $15. This flashlight has aluminum or metal casing and a heavy feel to it. It's 5.25 inches long and weighs 6.6 ounces. So it's a little bigger and heavier than some of the other flashlights in this class. It takes three AAA batteries in a cylindrical clip. For comparison, the Coast is slightly longer, weighs 7.2 ounces, and takes four AAA batteries. This flashlight has five modes, including two blinking modes. I don't care about the different modes, but you might. The beam can be zoomed in or out. When it's zoomed out, the beam is very even with a slight bluish tint. There are no rings or hotspots in the middle. The flashlight can take a lithium battery instead of the three AAA's. (Update: I wrote this review based on use with AAA batteries. I eventually tried a lithium battery (18650) using the plastic sleeve that comes with the flashlight. The beam was significantly brighter. In dark areas, it illuminates details like sunlight. I've found that some 18650 batteries are better than others. EBL has worked well for me; Ultrafire has not) This flashlight is a generic. It's offered by many sellers under different names. If you look at the images on the Amazon webpages, they are obviously the same product. The only difference is that each seller/importer has their name stamped at the middle of the flashlight. At least 5 of the sellers currently offer 2-packs for under $20. The prices change a lot, almost like there's a price war going on. I've recently seen 2-packs offered for under $11. One of these flashlights is already well worth the money at $14 (that's what I paid this seller in 2016). Two of these flashlights for less than $15 is a fantastic deal.

Love this little light. Lightweight and very powerful. Glad I purchased it! Shows a great spotlight and perfect for walking the dog at night around the neighborhood. Needs 3aaa batteries so have them purchased so when it arrives you can enjoy it right away. Great light!

Amazing flashlight. I had been using one of those heavy duty babies with the 3 "C" cell batteries for years. Although that style doubles as a weapon if needed, in the 20 yrs. I owned it, I never needed it for more than its intended purpose: light. So...I was very happy to find this very handy little portable flashlight. Not only is it small and convenient, but its ability to light up the entire backyard or focus on a small area are terrific. Comparing the light of the old school flashlight to this LED is literally night and day. The old flashlight shines a dim yellow beam, even with fresh batteries. This LED flashlight gives off a tremendous bright white light. The perfect flashlight for home and travel. The strobe and SOS features are a nice bonus. I take the time to review my purchases because I know I rely on these reviews myself when I make purchases blindly on Amazon. I hope you have found my review helpful.

If you’ve been looking at flashlights on Amazon, you’ve probably seen this one. There’s about 20 different companies that have rebranded this flashlight. Some charge $50, others like Outlite charge $12! It appears to be the same flashlight from the same manufacturer, so why pay more than you should? This quality of this light is fantastic. It’s got a solid, heavy feel so it doesn’t feel cheap at all. It’s a little bigger than one you’d want to carry in your pants pocket, but would great for your jacket pocket, nightstand, truck door or gun bag. I’ve been carrying it in my labtop backpack, which I also carry my Glock 19 & other man toys :). The flashlight is adjustable so that you’re able to adjust the beam from the tiny square shape of the LED to a huge round spot light. It’s crazy how big the radius of the spot gets & its makes a perfect circle. In the 2nd pic, I’m pointing the light across a horse pasture & into the trees on a mountain. I can see the leaves of the trees clearly all the way there! It must be at least a football field away if not more. This LED throws light extremely far! The flashlight is powered by either 3 x AAA batteries or 1 x 18650 batteries, which I put in mine. I used 1 of my old 2500 Mah e-cig batteries & it worked perfect! I’m going to try 1 of my newer 3000 Mah batteries & see if that makes any difference in performance. It’s nice that you can use either, but IMO the single 18650 battery would be the best out of the 2 options. With that being said, this flashlight was everything I was told & more. It’s a quality LED w/ a solid housing that isn’t going to break. I’d recommend this to any of my buddies like it was recommended to me!

Great product at a reasonable price!!! Love it !!! This flashlight is very bright for it's size. I really like that it's powered by a standard battery vs others you have to go buy some expensive specialty battery.

Great flashlight, particularly for the price! Great for normal use, easy to carry in a pouch or even a large pocket. About the length of my hand when not zooming, as you can see in the photo. Incredibly bright. A friend thought it would be a good idea to shine its high brightness setting into his eyes. He was blind and in pain for a couple of minutes. I feel confident that it could temporarily blind an attacker if necessary (particularly with the strobe setting), even in daylight if zoomed in some. The full zoom is insanely bright. The photos are taken in my room with moderate lighting. I love the feel of zooming and not zooming by simply sliding the top portion in or out. It's also quite easy to change between the different lighting modes. The strobe and SOS modes work fine. The metal seems durable enough to do well in close-quarter combat or to break a window if necessary. Cons: - I wish it had somewhat more clear instructions, but I was able to figure out how it works. - It doesn't come with the special battery. You will need some AAAs to power it with its default battery holder. - Seems a little flimsy on the inside. I can hear and feel something rattling around when shaking it, but such shaking it doesn't seem to damage it. For less than 20 dollars, this is a great product. Brighter than some expensive tactical flashlights I've seen, even if a bit less solid-feeling, and adequate for my purposes so far.

This Flashlight has gone beyond my expectations, extremely bright and yet small and compact. My attached pictures were taken with no surrounding light in complete darkness. I highly recommend this product and will be purchasing more! I recommend using 1 - 18650 battery as they are easier the recharge

I live in the SW desert, & it's seriously dark @ night. This light not only gives me the option to use AAA batteries when I'm away from my charger, but it has the widest wide angle lighting setting of any of our small LED lights, nice feature w/ javelina around daily/nightly, & the local bobcat having two kittens big enough to roam. I've only had it a short time, but it was quickly my favorite. I like, too, that it's large enough to discourage dropping it into a pants pocket. Research the hazards of Lithium-ion batteries, if you don't understand that.

I normally don't make grammatical mistakes, but if you see one here it is only because I am temporarily blinded:) I put batteries in this shrunk-down version of a Hollywood flood/spot light; the kind you can see from 20 miles away. I was not ready for the blinding explosion of light. I put it on strobe and looked directly into the light. Yep, I'm stupid:) I learned my lesson and won't be doing that again. Seriously, I have had flashlights all my life, from boy scouts up to the USAF. But I have NEVER had a flashlight THIS B R I G H T !!!!!!! Not even close!!! Simply put, I had no idea that a hand held flashlight could be this bright. Once my sight fully returns, I think I'll order another one.
