Fits 58mm Metal Screw Type Hood
Perfect fit for my Voigtlander 58mm 1.4 S (old version metal focus ring). Its a 58mm hood and 62mm lens cap. The difference between the old version and new (N) version is basically the lens housing. I wanted the new version, but didnt care for the rabbit ears (and yes I know you can remove them). Besides the old version was only $380. The new housing is now 52mm (filter/lens cap/hood). So you would need a 52mm hood and a 58mm lens cap to fit the hood. For $7, sure beats the metal slip cap for $50. This is for the regular hood, not the vented hood, obviously.

The Answer to the "Fuji Dilemma" ! (and for other lens brands, as well)
Wow, I've finally found the answer to the "Fuji Dilemma," a term I coined myself to describe what are arguably some of the nicest lenses on the market at nearly any price, but with lens caps that seem to be DETERMINED to fly off. Fly off when in your bag, fly off when suspended on a belt, and fly off even when you are trying to attach it! How could a company make such SUPERB lenses (and they truly are superb; they are like true Zeiss or Schneider lenses) and then use lens caps that REFUSE to stay attached? Fuji has FINALLY addressed this in their newer lenses, such as the XF 23mm F/2 and the XF 35 F/2, but many Fuji owners have a collection of Fuji lenses that seem to have springs mounted under their lens caps! Well, Breakthrough Photography has answered this problem, and done it well, and at a great price! These lens caps are high quality, STAY IN PLACE, and only cost seven dollars! They come in a very nice, semi-thick, flexible zippered slipcase (which can be used for all kinds of things), a red lens cloth, and I must say, are a real bargain. I've purchased these for all my Fuji lenses except for the two mentioned above. I can't recommend these more highly. They are manufactured well, are shipped properly, do what they are supposed to do, come in a nice plastic zipper case, and at prices at a VERY reasonable seven dollars. Amazing. Five Stars!

Its as good as any OEM and 1/3 or less the price.
I for years never carried an extra lens cap in my bag until one day the OEM lens cap dropped and broke. I then went and bought an OEM lens cap to replace my broken one. After a little while I decided I would buy one lens cap for each lens millimeter I own [77,67,62]. After researching on Amazon I came across Breakthrough Photography and there 77mm lens cap. The price of $7 for the 77mm was outstanding compared to Nikon's version witch was $23. When I received my Breakthrough Photography 77mm I was totally impressed by it. It was as good as any OEM cap I have. Now for the over the top part was the packaging of the cap it came in a tough plastic zip lock bag with a lens cloth. This packaging witch was MUCH better then my OEM brands is well protected in my camera bag. After the initial buy I also ordered a 62mm cap and it also was exactly built and packaged like the 77mm. In the future when I need replacements Breakthrough Photography has all my business.

Excellent Lens Cap for any 72mm Thread Lens. Must Buy..
The Breakthrough 72mm Lens caps fit on my sigma 18-35 ART lens perfectly and even with a slim Zomei UV filter on the camera, it still was able to fit on the lenses. I'd like the quality on the lens cap and feels very well design and build. I'll recommend this caps for any 72mm thread. For the price, oh yes I am going to say this once and this is just a good deal to buy. Don't buy a cheap lens cap, make sure you research for the best lens cap with the best quality. The pinch-lock is very good this review was added after about 10 days of trying to make the lens cap come off but it would not come off at all. I'm happy to make this purchase and I am not going back on my word. Hope this short written review help anyone understand the excellent quality this lens cap has to offer.

Plesantly Suprised!
I purchased this for my Nikon version of the 150-600mm Sigma Sport lens. I like having Nikon style lens caps for all my lenses regardless of brand. At 105mm this is the biggest lens I own and the lens does not come with a center pinch lens cap. Sigma and Nikon do not offer a center pinch cap. I bought this to fill that need. It works fine with standard thickness UV/Haze/polarizer type filters. Fit is just as good as my Nikon caps on my Nikon lenses. The center springs are strong and do not feel gritty when compressing. These have more of a matte black finish instead of a glossy black that Nikon prefers which has no impact on the performance. The red logo I could do without, but that is a personal preference and not worth taking off a star. I am not sure if it was stated on the product description, but there is a loop point for a lens cap tether on the side of the cap. Super handy if your the type that uses tethers to help prevent lost lens caps. I was pleasantly surprised and would buy Breakthrough lens caps again for my odd sized caps.

Fuji should hire these guys to make their lens caps!!!
Bought this for my 10-24mm Fuji lens that originally came with the WORST lens cap - I mean, come on Fuji, when you spend just shy of a grand on a lens, you'd think that the lens cap would be good. I got sick of hearing a clatter as I walked because the lens cap had fallen off my lens AGAIN. Found this little gem on here for less than $10. It arrived quickly and snapped right on, tight like it was supposed to be! I've had it now for a month or so. I keep my lens covered and pull off the cap only when I'm about to shoot so it comes off and on upwards of 20-30 times in a day of shooting. This lens cap is still tight and I haven't once had it fall off as I was walking around. Get one. You won't regret it.

Capping A Problem
I'm one of those people who can't seem to hang onto a lens cap, no matter how hard I try. Replacing those lost caps had become a bit pricey, but let's face it folks; those lenses of ours that cost up to thousands of dollars in some cases just need to be protected. Suddenly, while looking on amazon for some inexpensive replacements, I spotted these, by Breakthrough Photography. Sure couldn't bet the price, so I ordered two of them, and I'm really pleased. They shipped quickly, and seem to be as strong as the Canon caps, and they fit perfectly. Can't ask for much more than that from a piece of plastic whose only function is to protect our expensive investment from dust, dirt, scratches, weather, etc. Oh. And have I mentioned how much I love the pinch style of cap? Just makes it so much easier to put on and take off, especially with a hood in place. Going to look to this company for all my lens cap needs from now on. :)

Breakthrough Photography Review
Best after-market lens cap on the market, regardless of the price, but this one is cheap, buy 2. I shoot track & field and cross-country and forever lose my caps. Unlike others I have bought, the sunshade still fits perfect in the storage position with this one. It was timely delivered along with a UV filter during the holidays. Only suggestion, make the caps in other sizes, for my collection of lenses. The filter was clean, professionally wrapped and fit good, but I have yet to use it for any pictures. I received an email from "Graham Clark," the founder of Breakthrough wanting to know if the service was acceptable after I received the package. I figured it was an auto email, so I responded with a few questions. I was pleasantly surprised that either Graham, or somebody on his behalf promptly answered my questions. All service was excellent.

A lens cap that made me happy!
Some may say that a lens cap is a lens cap and what's there to add... but this one is really well made, expertly finished and looks incredibly cool. I purchased it because I lost my Nikon lens cap (and I have lost my share of caps, even though I am very careful with these things) and, to be honest, I was expecting something roughly finished. To my surprise, the spring-pinch is pleasantly pliable but firm, the cap has a nice, smooth finish... and it came in a nice, practical plastic pouch, along with a lens cleaning cloth. What else can I ask for? I must add that I intend to keep this one very safe. If I lose it... I will be quite sad!

Well made, well priced lenscaps.
Lenscaps are very useful. They protect the front element of a lens whilst in transit, etc. Lenses normally come with a branded lenscap from new. Canon and Nikon will sell you replacement lenscaps at exhorbitant prices. Since lenscaps get lost quite easily having a few spare ones lying around is useful. I've bought fotodiox lenscaps in the past but they don't have all the sizes I need. SO I gave these a try. These are sturdy plastic pinch-type lens caps. They fit exactly and have a distinctive red logo. They come with a microfibre cloth and are packaged in a sturdy zip-loc bag. They don't have any sort of cap-keep feature which means they are easier to use with lens hoods. Any serious photographer should have a few spare lenscaps available for each lens. These will protect my 24 - 70 f/2.8 for years to come. They're not an investment but a vital and useful item of photograohic equipment. These are the right price and construction; highly recommended.
