Potential lifesaver

I bought this because I had a flat on my boat trailer going to the lake. My Toyota lug wrench didn’t work on my lugs, and my Toyota OEM jack bent while jacking it. I decided that if my kids had a similar problem with their vehicles, they would need a better option for changing a flat, presumably on the side of the road l, under less than ideal circumstances. So I purchased this, as well as a new bottle jack. And wow, what a value. This is the most utilitarian thing I have purchased. The handle telescopes for extra leverage and the sockets are reversible to fit 4 different lug sizes, covering all sizes of lugs. IT took me almost an hour to change the tire on the boat to the spare. But I’m returning the new tire to the boat, using this wrench, it took me a whopping 5 minutes. How much is 45 minutes of savings worth to you? How much is the idea of my wife or son standing on the side of the freeway worth? I can’t put a price on it, but it is definately worth more than 17.99, so I have purchased 4 more of These for all of our cars

Tuff and genius

I don’t imagine how much frustration come with my ridiculous attempts to change a tire. Was really absolute failure. The little tool come with the car is the worst. Increíble easy for the craftsman socket wrench, 4 different sizes for the nuts. I recovered my confidence on my ability to replace a tire. This tool is totally strong quality. Safe and strong construction. Really ingeniality and quality.

A must have for car owner

We recently purchase a used car... even though the car is still under factory warranty, it is missing the important safety equipment. A set of tire socket tool is a must have for every car. This one is nice since it comes with different sizes to fit many wheel nut and also a telescoping handle to remove stubborn nuts. I feel like every car manufacturer should include this particular handle in every car.

Makes changing tires a breeze. "Like butta baby"

My wife and I had a blowout at the top of the Mountain. Could not get the lug nuts to budge using the stock wrench. We decided this couldn't happen. After reading a ton of reviews from Amazon and also other sites I trust I went with the Cartman. For the price you cant go wrong. I tested it on my tires and it loosened the nuts like butter. This is a must have for anyones car or truck. Especially those like me that dont have the strength we once did.

Have tried it --- it works great!

This telescoping lug wrench works just like I hoped it would and gives you important leverage when unscrewing lug nuts that have been applied with an air tool at the tire shop. It's heavy duty and the included sockets worked great on simple lug nuts as well as the "locking nut key" used with locking lugs to prevent theft. Unfortunately, my car was recently totaled in a rear end accident, but when I went to the towing yard to retrieve my belongings from the wrecked car, I made it a point to get into the trunk where this lug wrench was stored so I could put in my next car, too. Like this item so much I've bought a couple and given them as gifts to appreciative friends and relatives. A great idea and well implemented.

Pretty good quality. Exactly what I needed.

I bought this to replace the factory junk that Ford provided with my car. The tool itself seems sturdy and I used it to hand tighten my wheels after the impact gun after installing my summer tires. The extension feature is nice and helps give you more torque. I really couldn't believe how much difference that made over the POS I was previously using. The socks seem decent, not great, but did fit my lug nuts perfectly. My storage bag had a slight tear in it at the weld seam, but considering I was able to fix it with a dab of super glue, and I paid about $10 for the tool, I didn't bother to knock off a star.

So much easier

Got this to change from my winter wheels to summers and omg it makes it so much easier. The stock wrench is much shorter and it makes it difficult to remove the lugs. Rather than struggling for 10 minutes to take off lug nuts for one wheel i got them off in 2 minutes. Saved me so much time, gonna keep one of these in every car. Worth every Penny!!!

Fine tool does the job

I bought this to loosen tight shop set lug nuts . Its better than jumping up and down on vehicle supplied wrench. I used it to loosen a stubborn lug nut. Worked fine no trauma. Nice to know the telescoping end has a friction holding mechanism when slid out. The supplied sockets were long enough for my lugs and fit right to bolt shoulders. For tightening I slid the telescoping section in so as not to exert gorilla torque and break a lug off or crack a wheel. Used properly it does the job.

Great

This is an excellent tool to use. It comes with two sockets but both sides can be used on each piece so you effectively have 4 sizes to choose from. You can extend the bar which helps a lot when it comes to leverage. That leverage is golden when you're breaking lug nuts. It also has a nice bag to store everything. It took me awhile to figure out how to put it all back in the bag while being able to still close the bag. Put the wrench inside but not all the way, drop the sockets in, then move the wrench the rest of the way down and close it. I've used this several times and it works nicely. No issues like it breaking as other reviewers mentioned or anything.

Cartman provided what Mercedes Benz forgot!

Bought this because Mercedes Benz provides run flat tires on their vehicles, and apparently don't think you need a jack, tools, or inflater in your vehicle! Our new Mercedes came with some nice 19" wheels, nut not wheel locks. I bought a set of wheel locks, went to install them and discovered there was no lug wrench! Ordered this one from Amazon, and am very happy with it. The provided socket fit perfectly, and it telescopes to a nice compact size that fit perfectly under the tray in the trunk, where the tools should be! Great quality product, I definitely recommend it!
