Protects my license plate from the car wash.
I bought this to see if it would solve the problem of our local car wash breaking the license plate frames. Our 2004 RAV4 only has 2 bolts with which to attach the bumper. This leaves the plate/frame hanging down below the bumper where the frame is quickly broken and the plate bent by our local car wash. This bracket provides a fairly strong backing for the license plate. It also attaches to the bumper using the holes in the center of the plate. This lifts the bracket and plate higher on the bumper, making it less subject to damage from the car wash rollers. The bracket is re-inforced plastic. So far, it works! I am happy with it. I wish it came with an outside frame-cover for the plate, but it does not. Any frame with standard attachment holes should work. Also want to mention that the attachment hardware and tool provided are excellent.

Easy installation
With a product like this--a universal license plate bracket--you look for one thing, ease of installation. This one is very easy to install, even when the holes are not pre-drilled in the bumper. Don't know how long it will last, but it only took about 10 minutes to install on a 2015 Smart. Be sure to drill the holes in the bumper the right size for the screws and don't tighten them too much. Other than that, it's pretty much a no-brainer.

Just what my car needed!
Bought this to be able to mount the front plate on my car without it looking horrible. It appears at though something happened when the original owner had the car that caused the front license plate to be ripped off, leaving a couple of holes in the original mounting location. One can be seen in the first pic above the license plate. It looks as though the dealer tried to cover the holes, but wasn't very successful. I noticed after I had the car for a few days that the license plate wasn't centered, and that's when I noticed the hole above the plate. I wanted something to try to cover the holes, and found this license plate mount. It did exactly what I hoped it would do! I used one of the screws that the dealer used to attach the license plate frame to center the mount (black screw in the middle) so that I could then make the holes for the two included mounting screws where I wanted them so that the mount would be centered and level. The mount went on perfectly, and looks great! With the license plate and frame mounted, the holes are unnoticeable, and it looks like nothing was ever wrong 😁. The mount also came with 4 smaller screws for securing the license plate. They are just long enough to be able to use a frame with the license plate, which can be seen in my picture. Since they are torx screws, it makes it a little less likely that your plates might be stolen. Overall, I'm very happy with this license plate mount, and definitely recommend it to anyone needing a mount for their plate.

Great universal license plate bracket
I needed to relocate my front license plate to a lower place on my front bumper. I searched around and found this bracket. What I really liked is the flexibility with mounting on the bracket. If you make a mistake with the holes, it's easy to correct. You have security minded screws to secure the bracket and plate. It's made of heavy duty plastic. My only wish was that it was more rigid, but it's really a minor issue. For the money and value, this is what I would purchase for a front plate bracket. Even if I was not relocating the plate, I would still buy it for a better mounting option than just screwing the plate direct to the bumper.

Works great but has its limits
If you need a front plate, or want to reinforce the rear plate (e.g. Trailer?) this is the ticket. You'll need to have a good 2/3 of the plate supported in the front as the air/water/snow pressure could bend it if you've only got an inch or two of support. Great for a bare bumper like my Highlander's or most minivans.

Best Cheap Alternative
Can't find a plate bracket at Autozone or Advance Autoparts for my Audi. This is $10 and has a lot of different fitting holes for any car. I mount it in the back and still works even though its label as a front bumper plate bracket. Audi dealerships charges an arm a leg for their "Audi" plate bracket-- its a license plate that needs to be mounted to your car, nothing mechanical and zero performance gain to mount "Audi" brand bracket... Save yourself money for an oil change and pick this up for $10

Worked great on a 2011 Chrysler Town & Country
I recently relocated from a state without front license plates to one that has them. Dodge/Chrysler called for my 2011 Town & Country simply to screw the license plate directly into the bumper dimples. I didn't like that, preferring a real bracket. This one screwed into the bumper dimples with the included screws without any drama at all. The license plate went on top of the bracket with the hex-head screws. It fit the gentle curvature of the minivan just fine. It looks good, and is very secure. I'd buy it again.

This is a good product.
This fit my 2015 Kia Sorento front license plate base perfectly. I had bought a clear license plate cover for both front and back from Amazon (Cruiser Accessories 76100 Tuf Flat Shield) And it fit perfectly over the plate and bracket. I was concerned whether the screws for the built in nuts would be long enough to put this clear shield over the entire assembly but it all fit together perfectly. This is a good product.

Great product! Easy to install and solid construction
Great product! Easy to install and solid construction. Helps to make the front license plate look a bit better than simply screwing it into your bumper. Comes with easy to follow instructions. Can be mounted on a flat bumper or a curved bumper (comes with 2 sets of screws).

Works great, even if the holes weren't drilled right
I got this when I moved to a state that requires front bumper plates. The homes drilled in my car were done poorly and were not the right distance apart. This mount worked great and I was able to align it on the poorly drilled holes. Definitely a good buy.
