Range of 0% - ~90%, off click at one end, runs very cool, affordable
By far the best brushless DC motor control I have tried. Others will burn you if you touch it in the wrong place. This one is skin temperature running 2, 360mm fans at medium. There is an off click at the end so you don't need an on/of switch. But, you don't really even need it as min speed barely lights the LEDs and will not keep spinning blades turning (on brushless, DC motors). High setting is tornadic, but there if you need it. Simple, effective, efficient, cheap. Well engineered! The only potential downside is a red LED which shows the output power level. I may need to put a drop of Liquid Electrical Tape on it to use it as a hot Summer night fan. The 4 wire connectors, +/-, in/out is for a do-it-yourself person is an upside, not a downside.

Cool for Home Projects
I used it to replace the defective switch on my Fantastic Fan in my RV. Works like a charm. Only drawback was the short spindle on the speed control, which made installation a little tight. Quality seems good; only time will tell if it survives the shake, rattle and roll of RV life.

Works as advertised, time saver
Sweet! Does exactly what it's supposed to do - reverse a DC motor and control speed. And the on-off function on the knob is a nice plus - I thought I'd have to add a switch. We'll see how long it lasts but I'm happy with it upon first set up. A lot less hassle than using an H-bridge, arduino, potentiometer, swtich, etc., that you have to set up yourself. This comes ready for mounting including four nice mounting holes. I just bought another one, because that's all that were in stock. I'm teaching basic electronics/robotics to 4th and 5th graders. They took apart old printers and took out the motor systems and housing. This will let them control the motors, make them go back and forth, control the speed, etc., just by attaching four wires via screw mounts. I just tested one and it worked like a charm. We're going to attach lasers to them so they can move them back and forth and fire.

Great Fan Improvement
We have four vent fans in our RV, two were the quiet variable speed type and two were the little motor mounted noisy type fans. I purchased the speed control and a fan retro fit for the two motor mounted fans. We now have quiet variable speed fans in all four vents. The shrouded fans allow us to move much more air and the variable speed allows almost silent operation; a major improvement in the fans. We set up our fans to work only as exhaust fans and do not use the reversing feature on the control.

Nifty little Gadget & Good Value.
This little thing works great. I used it to change the speed and direction of a 6v motor. I ended up making a crayon-melting spin art device and this thing was easy to hook up and works as advertised over a 0 - 6v range and pulling a max of 3 amps. I'm not sure how it works over the rest of the advertised range.

Great motor controller for robotics (i.e. FTC) teams! 3d printable case can be found online.
Our FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) teams use this motor controller to test motors. We wired the input side to Anderson Powerpoles to be compatible with our batteries, then another set of Powerpoles to connect to motors. Works like a CHAMP and leverages motors we already had at hand. We 3d printed a Thingiverse model (#1846304) to install the controller in and it all went together great!

Works great for 540 brushed motor
Using this to control a 540 sized brushed motor. Adjusting the knob speeds up and slows down the motor very smoothly. Would be nice if it came with standoff screws so that the circuit board could be mounted, but it can be done easily with screws and spacers. Would recommend.

Five Stars
Added to my generator box cooling fan 80 Watts works perfect

This works great!
I bought this to use in a Heng's fan vent that only had one speed and one direction. This turned the $50 fan into a $350 vent fan. The only thing it didn't give us is a rain sensor and a thermostat (lol).

Works great for what I'm using it for
Works as expected, I use mine to power a 12 volt automotive wiper motor that has been re-purposed...Works great for what I'm using it for, as a brew kettle auto stirrer. :)
