drains on both sides is key!
I debated which one of these to purchase and am glad we went with this one. It was easy to assemble and there are no leaks. My kids love playing with it and the umbrella is a really cool addition. It's super messy. They don't keep the sand and water separate so the whole things is pretty muddy. I am very happy that both sides have a plug for draining. My only complaint is that it dumps out a good bit of the sand when you drain the water down. I'm not sure how this could be avoided. Sand is very cheap so no big deal. I really like how snugly and simply the top fits on. I saw a few of these with more neutral/natural colors which was appealing but this one is really nice in person.

I bought this because of the reviews
I spent three days reading reviews, checking different sites and hunting in local stores for the table that would work best for my soon to be 3 year old. I am so pleased we picked this table. We are currently using both sides for water only and this winter we plan on bringing it inside and using it as a sensory table. The height is perfect because she doesn't have to bend over but can still reach all sides. It is large enough that when her two cousins age 3 and 6 come over they can all play and not bump into eachother. I wasn't sure we would use the umbrella because we have a large tree in our back yard but it has come in handy the few times we've moved the table to different locations without shade. The table is extremely sturdy and has given us no concern so far. I like that the legs screwed in instead of simply popping in like other tables. The lid is very tight once attached and even during strong winds doesn't come loose. I highly recommend this table for anyone looking for a table that can be used for any season, inside or outside.

It is beyond amazing! Our daughter is 5 and she plays and plays. We got it in Jan for her birthday and filled it with rice and had it indoors. It's warm enough now that we moved it outside and put sand and water in it. She can't get enough of it!

Love it!
I bought this for my 3 year old's birthday. We have it filled with sand on both sides and my kids love it!! It's big enough that they can play together without being on top of each other. I'm not sure the umbrella provides much shade, but they love it and use it every time. The lid is probably my favorite feature. It's easy enough for them to slide it on and off themselves and it keeps the sand fresh, dry, and clean. Overall a great purchase and wonderful addition to our yard.

So fun; great size. Can do sand and water at the sane time.
My 17 month old loves her sand and water table. Everyday she gets home from daycare, it is the first thing she wants to play with. Great height and overall size. The umbrella is great except ours didn't come with a tie so the wind turns it right side out regularly. Luckily it has not yet been damaged.

Daughter loves it
My 18-month-old is always playing in the bathroom sink, so I thought this would keep her busy outside. She loves it! She doesn't play with anything for more than a few minutes at a time, but she played with this table for over 30 minutes today. I used a power drill to screw the legs in - seemed easier than using a hand screwdriver.

Fun for a kid and dog
I got this for my 18-month old this summer and she loves it. We just filled both sides with water, and it's worked great. I haven't really bothered to use the lid that much since it's just for water, I just drain and refill it every day. The dog loves it too! He thinks it's his outside water bowl. The only downside is the umbrella is super flimsy, but I really was buying this for the table not the umbrella. It cleans really easy, I just use some disinfecting wipes whenever it gets too dirty and wipe it down. All in all, really pleased with this purchase!

Great, no-fuss water/sand table
We got this for our 3 y/o for his birthday back in April and it still gets almost daily use. Our 7 y/o also plays in it too. Since it’s been warm outside, we’ve only put water in it, but will put sand/beans in it once it’s gets cooler. My favorite part of this water/sand table is that it’s big enough for 2 children to play on it and it is easy to clean bc it doesn’t have a ton of parts that come with it. We are very happy with this purchase.

I bought this for my 2 year old daughter. We use it with sand and with water, but they all sort of end up mixed together. She loves it. She can play independently for as much as 45 minutes! For a 2 year old, that's a huge endorsement. Of course, it's sort of messy and you end up changing clothes after play time and tracking some sand in the house, but that's no big deal and worth it for the length of time she plays. It's well made and sturdy. I think I put maybe 25 lbs of the play sand you buy at Home Depot. The lid is helpful and there are drain plugs on both sides, so you can drain it each time they play. Definitely worth the price.

I ordered this for my 1 year old and she loves it. She loves playing with the sand and the water and it helps her with her balance and encourages her to walk. I would definitely recommend this item to anyone who has small kids and would like endless hours of fun for them.
