The beeping was driving me insane!! I brought my truck to the dealership and paid them $125.00 to have a diagnostics ran. They came back and told me a list of things supposedly wrong with my vehicle with a quote to fix them at $4000.00! I laughed at them and said no way. The things they were telling me didn’t even make sense. So I asked what about the trailer brake system warning, that’s the reason I can in today. They told me that once I fix everything else, it would go away! Lol, what a bunch of scam artist! I ordered this product and replaced it myself in about 15 minutes. I haven’t had the warning come across my dash since. The beeping is no more, and what a relief!!! By the way my vehicle is running perfectly fine so never believe what 1 mechanic shop has to say, get a couple of quotes to better protect yourself from scammers!!

I was going crazy with the “trailer brake service” warning. It was beeping randomly and it was super annoying. The dealer was charging $300.00 for the diagnostic, part, and labor. Changed in less than 30 mins. Located right above the spare tire, on top side of trailer brake module. Two nuts and plug.
