very good in low light
No need to look any further. These fit the bill perfectly. Crystal clear, very good in low light. They fit into my Horn Hunter Bino Hub exactly they way I want them to fit. I used them just yesterday to glass the other side of a ridge on the other side of a lake. They saved me a ton of unnecessary hiking. Found exactly what I was looking for and was able to go right to it.

Best binos for the price
I bought these binos for hunting and for the occasional bird watching. They are great pieces of glass for the price! I bought the 10x50 which serves my needs well as sometimes I'll be using them in lower light conditions. That said, they're fairly heavy and I notice when I have them in the pack. A big perk for me is the ability to use in rainy conditions. So if you don't mind a little heft, these are great. PROS: - Great picture, not too much distortion on edges (given the price) - Rugged design - Nice case that came with it CONS: - Heavy - The rear eye caps are not attached to the binos which is annoying

It is rare for a manufacturer to exceed your expectations as much as vortex has!
These binoculars are as good as everything else I have seen from vortex. It is rare for a manufacturer to exceed your expectations as much as vortex has. After purchasing two other binoculars in similar price range only to be disappointed, these were a breath of fresh air. So far The three items I have purchased from vortex Have been outstanding. I have seen nothing in their price range even come close.

We have never owned high quality binoculars before, so my review is purely from a novice view point. The binoculars are very high quality. I love how the eye glass protectors are attached (yet easily detachable if you desire). The instructions manual is easy to read. The case and strap are both comfortable and high quality. The images are crystal clear. These binoculars add a new level of fun to all of our outdoor activities.

Nicest, clearest binoculars I have ever used in price range
I bought these after trying out a couple different types of binoculars. These are by far the clearest and easy to adjust. First time using them was at an indoor archery range with very low light for 3d league. They worked amazing compared to other binoculars. Price is a slight setback but the fact that these are probably the last binoculars I will ever have to buy due to their warranty and craftsmanship I didn't mind. If the price is too steep I suggest saving awhile longer and not wasting your money on a cheaper pair of binoculars.

Excellent clarity. Well worth the price.
I really like these. My friend, who’s into ling range shooting, came over and we both compared these with his $900.00 Zeiss binoculars. Neither of us could tell the difference between them except the Zeiss binocs had slightly better clarity out at the edges. This was not noticeable without looking for it. We were looking at a target in fairly low light conditions.

Amazingly clear glass!
Im seriously impressed with these. I have owned some of your average "off the rack" binos over the years but this is my first higher end pair. Im amazed at the clarity of the glass. They track well and the design is very easy to hold steady. I work near a river and while testing these out I was able to follow boats well while they sped by. Im most impressed with the clarity these binos provide. They are easily adjustable and for eye relief and both focus wheels are in a very natural position. I know these arent the most expensive on the market but they are pretty great for a viewing distance of 300-500 yards when regarding large game. Probably closer for smaller animals such a bird.

THESE ROCK!
I read a lot of reviews on this and others and I was a little surprised on the reviews on this. I actually went into a store to look at these before ordering so I knew what I was getting. All I can say is WOW! I have no idea how you could NOT give this 5 stars. If I could have I would have given it 6. The image is so incredibly clear its like having eagle eyes. They are comfortable, easy to use, and could not be happier. You can't beat the cost on these. They arrived in one business day, one day ahead of expected delivery using Prime shipping. I tested them last evening as the sun was going down and could see clearly all the time until the sun had set. I even got this morning before the sun was up and could see with moon light off the snow. The lens caps work great, attached to the optic and can attach the objective lens to the strap so as to never lose them. I am extremely impressed with Vortex and will buy more Vortex products in the future. They came new in box still with shrink wrap on the box. You will not be disappointed, again, I do not understand how you could give anything less than 5 stars.

Very happy!!
I researched for hours before I bought these. Finally decided on the Vortex Crossfire. Love them! The 10x42 is great, and not shaky at all like some people say about 10x. They look awesome and feel like they are made very well. I think the size is perfect for anything....not too big. Comes with a nice soft case, padded neck strap, manual and lens covers for both sides. The objective lens covers are attached but can be removed if you would want to.

These vortex binoculars beat the pants off of competitors!
from the moment I unboxed and begin using these binoculars I was impressed with the feel of the binos in my hand, they are well balanced, hand attached caps on ends, and great eye relief cups that screw up and down for glasses/no glasses. They arrived with a carry bag and neck strap. And a Lifetime, transferrable warranty! Break them, drop them, as long as you can send the item back, they will fix. I am absolutely delighted at the cost and really for $130-ish dollars they feel like a MUCH more expensive set of vortex binos. They just FEEL good to look through, and minimal adjusting. The view is best in bright light, mid day light and at dusk I can still see a good five to six hundred yards, but I do start to lose out on fine details after sun goes down which is to be expected with 8x32 zoom. I can easily make out the gloss of a rack on a buck or hone in on the different shades of coat and hair color on the does and bucks against a picked bean field, corn field and red prairie grass. We have lots of hills and draws, and I love scanning and strategizing where to put my blind for rifle season, and look forward to opening morning, as soon as it's light enough, scanning for my deer. Bottom line, buy these Vortex binos! They beat Bushnell, Leupold (in a higher zoom too!) You will marvel at how you got so lucky to have an incredible pair of binos at a affordable price, and Ladies If you're looking for something for your husband or boyfriend, these binoculars will blow his mind. And they won't break your bank account
