Excellent scope for AR's and 3 Gun!!! I have mine on my 7.62x39 AR and it is amazing! Super clear and crisp not a cluttered as I expected. I can easily hit a soda can laying on its side (bottom or top silver part facing me) at 200 yards using my current setup. They are great out to about 250-300 at 6x for a silhouette target or similar not so great for precision at that range. I will buy more of these scopes!

I mounted this scope to my LAR15 and it works great. On one power it allows quick acquisition between the retical and the target; the variable magnification is great for targets farther away past 100 yards. The glass is very clear and the mount is solid.

I was impressed with this scope, every part about it screamed quality and performance. I will say this I did screw up mounting this. I highly suggest you do NOT use some cheap torque driver and you get one that goes to the inch pound adjustment. I over-tighten the rings and it made a slight dent just barely noticeable by eye. I cried a little thinking I just tanked $300 till I called into customer service. The lady was super nice reassured me it was covered to to ship it in. She took my info and emailed me a warranty slip all filled out to print. Thank god cause my hand writing sucks. I sent it in and within a week they sent me a replacement. I bought their vortex driver which is well worth the money. Set the scope up and was drilling holes in no time. I never imagine customer service to be so seamless and easy. I plan to buy just vortex due to them providing such great service. I'm confident if I put a vortex scope on my hunting rifle I know I'm covered in the worst case scenario. All to often hunting rifles get dropped or you trip/slip and your scope is now cracked, dented or filled with water. If you got a vortex they have your back, no receipts, just send it in and they'll do everything they can to get you back out there. I like that since often I'm sharing guns between friends or family. If anything happens they can send it in to get fixed don't need to worry about sending it myself. I can't thank vortex enough for their support and care. I love their products and you can't beat the service. If your new to hunting or shooting sports I highly recommend Vortex anything. You won't have to worry about making a mistake or having an expensive accident which happens to everyone at some point. I plan to treat all their products with care it's just insanely comforting to know they got my back.

It demonstrates that tracks effectively for long range. Does the Vortex Strike Eagle 3-18x44mm does the mile? Surely seems it will from the tracking and accuracy support data. Getting to zero and out to distance is rewarding with the constrains of budget Strike Eagle 3-18x44mm. This 3-18 magnification is when less is more. The difference between 50mm and 44mm objective is not human noticeably. Over $1,000.00 or $2,000.00 scope makes the mile easier, but the reward is in the challenge of advancing through five-phases of a mile project with self-imposed constrains. The rifle action is $350.00 and a special wooden stock is $250.00. Perhaps would prefer scope with less chromatic-aberration and a zero stop option instead of zero reset, but the price is right. Very special is the how accessible and ease to communicate with the Vortex team to ask questions and support.

My range is only 500 TDs. Being a novice to bolt action rifles. This is bar none a great entry level scope. Awesome glass and smooth adjustment. Definate buy. Locked in and adjusted hit 500yd 8 inch round Ar500 plate all day long. You cannot beat the Vortex warrenty. Lifetime. There is your que to buy.

This is my second Vortex Strike Eagle, the glass is crystal clear from 4 to 24 and the second focal plane 20 MOA reticle is perfect for long distance shooting, measuring and ranging targets. The adjustable eye parallax from 20 yards to infinite makes it easy to see a target at 24 magnification from 20 yards to looking at mountains several miles away.

I love this sight. This is the second one I've purchased. Vortex products are well designed and made. One of my favorite things about this optic is that the glass is etched so that if the battery fails, or the light source fails, the reticle is still visible in black.

All I can say is. What ?! Are you waiting for. Lol Its everything I expected and more. The warrant on Vortex is Amazing I've already use it. And it was all my fault. I broke the lens cover in two. I put it through a workout of 500 rounds in 6 hour it held up. I'm very Happy with it so far. Yes its was replaced by Vortex

Sweet jesus this surpassed all expectations I had. I used the 8x model on a friends rifle so knew I'd love it. The 6x took a bit to adjust to though was zeroed in nothing flat. Mount is sturdy and holds perfectly, controls are easy and intuitive, and the life time warranty is of coarse well worth what feels like a discounted price. Buy this, or if you want a little more get the 8x, either way you are not going wrong with Vortex.

Outstanding glass. Very tough, well made, Elevation and windage adjust very well with good tactile feedback. Reticle is excellent and easy to use. Simple is best. Plus the Vortex super–fix -or-replace-even- if-your-dog-ate-it warranty for life… Which is even transferable(!). Honestly, you won't regret this purchase. Even if you do, you can return it for full refund. For a 5.56 carbine it's a no-brainer. The mount is good too.
