SMOOTH OPERATOR

This steering wheel spinner is exactly as advertised! I think it took me all of about 1 minute to install this on my steering wheel. I was a little skeptical about it staying in place with no hardware to hold it, but I wanted it to be subtle. Since this is almost all black, putting it on my black steering wheel did that and I have experienced no problems with any slipping of the spinner. I have a medical issue that makes it painful to use my left arm to steer. This device allows me to safely control the steering of my vehicle with total confidence. GREAT DEVICE!!

Well designed, high quality spinner.

I've been using this spinner for a couple of months so far and it works great! Really makes it easier to turn the wheel quickly in tight spaces. The color matches my dark gray interior well and the feel is soft like leather, not hard like plastic. It snaps on to my steering wheel and stays where I place it, never moving. Very comfortable to use with the palm of your hand. Quality product, I highly recommend it.

Reliable & Low Profile

I am handicap and have trouble using my right arm. I love this Steering Wheel Spinner. I clamped mine to the left-hand side of the steering wheel, just above the horizontal bar. It does not slip around. The flat knob is very comfortable against the palm. Importantly, it is very easy to transition from the steering wheel to the knob. This knob allows me to turn easily and to park (even parallel). Also, since it is low profile, it blends nicely into my black steering wheel; thus not easily visible from outside the auto (in many states it is illegal to use this device, unless you have a handicap plate or placard). I love it!

For palm steering this is awesome!

Received product on time and in perfect condition. It took less than a minute to pop it on m steering wheel. Tried it on all three of my vehicles and it works great! I didn't use the enclosed tape and it works like a charm. With bad arthritis in my hands this little gem makes driving easier and safer for me. It is only for palm steering as it is not thick enough to really hang on to, just an fyi. It works so great that I bought another one.

Exactly what I needed after shoulder surgery

Driving with one hand/arm is a challenge. This spinner is just what I needed. I've had it about a month and even when I get use of my arm, again, I'm leaving this on!! It makes turning the wheel in tight spots so easy. Keep in mind, though, this is not a suicide knob - it's not a knob at all, it's a spinner. On the product page and the picture instructions that come with it, it has a big X over grabbing the spinner and shows the proper way to use it is with your palm. I guarantee, if you try to hold onto it and turn your wheel, it will come apart. I think that's what happened with the people who say it came off in their hands - it should never have been in their hands. I would, and have, recommend this to people, whether they need one-handed driving or not.

Great product

Just arrived yesterday, but I realized immediately that it is the perfect solution for getting me through my shoulder injury. Fit easily (for hubby at least) over my steering wheel and cover (Honda Odyssey van), is very secure without using the adhesive strip, and steers very comfortably with left palm. I like that it is flatter and less rigid than other modes, so will be less likely to cause injury in a car accident. I have it at the 9:30 position so I can rest my hand on the steering wheel horizontal post, right next to knob. I would definitely recommend this product; will probably keep using it after shoulder heals.

great for one armed drivers

This little device totally saved me. I broke my wrist and won't be able to use it fully for weeks. But meanwhile I am a single working mom. I need to drive! With snap on design, installation was easy. Now I can drive easily and with much greater security than if I had to take my hand off the wheel repeatedly to turn. Parking and turning is a breeze. The only thing I was not prepared for is that it is still pretty tiring driving with one arm. The device helps me turn, but I still feel as though I am having to control the weight of the car with my one good hand. So I do not think I would rely on this for long car trips.

Great for one handed driving.

This is the flattest steering wheel spinner I could find.. It does not stick up high enough to really whop you on the wrist. If you have had some sort of surgery where you can only drive with one hand, this will work. Did not attach it permanently. Allowed the person to drive with left hand and shift the gears with right hand with no problem.

Great Spinner - Highly Recommended!

I was skeptical about whether a spinner knob with no screws to clamp it onto the steering wheel would indeed hold, stay in place and work well, but I gave this device a try. I was very pleasantly surprised that it does indeed stay right where you put it and it doesn't feel loose or make you fearful that it might slip or come off at the worst possible time. The ball-bearing action of the knob is very smooth, and even though the instructions say that you are supposed to use it with the palm of your hand, I found that I can also put 3 or 4 of my fingertips on it and turn it like a knob. It looks very good on the steering wheel and doesn't attract a lot of attention like many of these devices do, with their chrome mounts, their screws and their big knobs. I like the fact that this gives me a spinner knob that works very well but yet is barely visible and doesn't attract attention to itself. I am very satisfied with this purchase and it has exceeded my expectations.

This spinner works very well. It sits atop the steering wheel rather than offset to one side or the other. It is designed to be controlled by the palm of the hand rather than the fingers. The combination provides very good control. It installs in a second or two and adheres to the steering wheel well.
