Funnel works as expected. It opens the capless fuel tank easily. This was a problem until making this purchase. The funnel was delivered timely and used the first weekend placing fuel treatment into our Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. It also performed flawlessly opening my neighbors Ford F150 Pickup capless fuel tank while assisting him with vehicle trouble.

When it comes to those cars with the moronic 'no cap' designs where the owner has overlooked, lost, or even thrown out the strange funnel in their trunk this thing is a wonder tool in their eyes. Even if it is just a replacement for the factory one they lost. If you have a car with a capless fuel door - BUY THIS THING NOW. Or make sure yours is where you can find it. Now... where's the one for diesel fuel ports??

I use this for my 2010 Ford F150. It seems a bit silly to have to have a special funnel to add fuel or additives to your fuel tank. But thats the way it goes. This fits perfectly. It's a little short, I wish it was a bit longer and maybe was able to angle upward a bit to make filling easier. Otherwise a cheap and efficient product.

I'd hoped this would work for my diesel pickup, which has a nozzle restrictor such that the fast semi fuel lanes are near impossible to use. I'd hoped this would work for that, but it's too small. The big opening is 1-1/8" at it's widest and narrows immediately. I don't know what this would be good for, but the price wasn't so much that I feel I've wasted money. It's well made, I'm sure it suits a purpose, just not the one I'd hoped it might

For any modern car this is a must. New cars come with this for when you need to use a gas can, but they are easily lost. So usually by the second owner they are gone, but still a necessity. I have one of these in every car I own that doesn't already have one. If you're low on gas and park on an incline and then idle too long and run the lines dry, and somehow get ahold of a gas can full of gas, you (like me) will wish you had this as you climb back into your car smelling like a Canadian gas station attendant. Because with this little funnel all the gas actually goes into the tank instead of all over your hands and feet!

Just what I needed to add left over gas from my gas can to my 2018 Equinox. Cap-less gas tanks are a nice feature until you realize how difficult it can be to add gas from a portable container. The funnel is small but sturdy. I was concerned that the diameter would be too small and I’d spill the gas, but if you are careful when pouring it should not be a problem. Would buy again.

Bought used 2018 Edge and the funnel, designed for a carpless gas tank, was missing. These are not exact replacements but should work if needed like the originals. Ford recommends this type of specially designed funnel to avoid damaging the capless gas tank mechanism. This type of funnel would not, of course, be required for vehicles with a cap on their gas tank -- cheaper funnels should do as well.

For the price, this is a very useful funnel to have if you need to pour fuel from a portable fuel can into a vehicle's fuel tank. It is somewhat small and easily stored, durable, and does just what you'd think. It is long enough to open the spring-loaded flap inside the fuel fuller neck.

Did not realize that the capless fuel tank required a special funnel - when I did, I could see it getting lost - so thought a spare would be a worthwhile purchase. When I found this item, I had some doubts - but for the price - even it did not work, oh well. But it works fine - so for the price its a win-win.

If you have a capless fuel filler, it turns out you NEED one of these to be able to use a gas can or to use additives. The capless fillers won't let you pry it open with a screwdriver, you have to have something like this. And, this one works just great.
