Great Teaching Tool

These are awesome with teaching time to the minute with my third graders. The clocks I used to have are the small Judy clocks, which lack gears. This becomes a problem with kids when the time is 10:55 and they think it's 11:55 because they have been taught up to this point that the small hand goes on the hour, but with it being 5 minutes to the next hour, it's hard for some to see that it's still in the 10 o'clock hour. These clocks are great with teaching that, as you can demonstrate hour the hour hand moves as the minute hand winds around the clock and that the hour hand is ALMOST to the next hour, but not quite yet. I hope this makes sense;) Anyway, this is an awesome tool to teach the more intricate and tricky times that tend to confuse kids.

Great manipulative for math!

These work great in my classroom. The students can manipulate them. They have gears inside the clock in order to keep the time on the clock accurate when moving the hands. Love these!

Great for school!

I teach second grade and these clocks were so helpful! My students loved using them while they practiced telling time. I felt the price wasn't bad for a set that big.

Aweosme gift for your favorite elementary teacher!

We gave these as a surprise gift to our third grade teacher. I believe she started crying she was so excited. Whatever they had been using in their class was not up to par, and these little Judy-type clocks have working gears that rotate as you move the time forward. The kids were as excited as she was. I'm sure they will use them in the class for years to come! The gift that keeps on giving. The clocks were individually wrapped and came in their own storage case.
