I have the 4 cycle troy built weed eater which made this attachment work PERFECT! I could not imagine using this with the smaller 2 cycle weed eater motor! Most of the reviews said this would jam with rocks and other harder things in the ground and I Believe it if using the smaller engine weed eaters…. Mine throws the rocks out of the way and eats up anything I give it! I turned my flower beds 2 times this season and thought I would have issues because of a old spruce that was in front of my house- Those roots are almost impossible to shovel but this thing tore through the dense web like roots the true left after I pulled it out of the ground with my TRUCK!!! If you have muscles and a 4 cycle weed eater get this!!!! Highly recommend it, but its one hell of a workout.

Maybe it has a lot to do with the motor you attach this thing to (it's a universal fit). I'm using this with a Husqvarna 2-stroke string trimmer and I can till up a 6 x 12 ft garden plot in no time at all. The tines are pretty easy to remove from the shafts for cleaning out the roots and stuff that get wrapped up in there. I'm very happy I bought this.

Was a bit skeptical about this item as I read others complain that it did not till well or that any debris tended to break the plastic protection housing. Some have also indicated the tines bend easily. Having used full sized rotor tillers from Craftsman and Troy-Bilt in the past, I did have some experience in how not to attack the area I was tilling. I was quite shocked and pleased at how well it attacked the area! Having a 27cc trimmer head, this unit dug in like a full size machine and ground the soil wonderfully. This unit requires you work backwards in the area being tilled so the tines dig into the soil. This is opposite of the full size tillers. Trying to till forward with this unit will not attack the ground and the head will bounce around on the ground a lot, so don't do it! It pulled rocks to the surface so you need to be cautious in how fast and hard you apply the head to the work area. I tilled an area about 30x20 feet working in all directions with ease. Cleaning the unit was quite easy since the tines are held on by self locking Lynch pins. Simply pull the pins and slide the tines off to clean the shafts; takes less than 5 minutes.

This works great with my Stihl KM 55R. I was reluctant to order because when I searched the Internet for "TrimmerPlus GC720 stihl" I found disclaimers saying "Will NOT fit Echo or Stihl branded units" but took a chance because of Amazon's excellent return policy and it fits and works great with my Stihl KM 55R.

I had to modify it to fit my Echo power head but I knew that before I bought it. I havn't had it long but have used it till a grassy area in sandy soil, dig a 50' long trench through grass using just one tine, and tilling up a garden bed. I added a 7.5 lb plastic weight on the tougher tasks and it tears it up. Great purchase!

Works well with a 40v Greenworks trimmer. With reduction gears, it is effective and has a lot more power than expected. The unit is solidly built. The combination gets heavy especially pulling it back to make it dig-in deeply instead of letting it run along superficially. So it takes some muscle to maneuver, but still, I think tilling up 6"-8" of dirt is easier than using a shovel and it is definitely quicker. If you had uniform planting beds, running it along to till up weeds between rows would be easy.

Works with my Cub Cadet BC490. Heavy but chews up dirt quickly and efficiently. Perfect for my large flower beds. Requires some muscle but I can handle it with an occasional rest...though the husband can work with it for longer stretches than I can.

Despite many posting in the Q/A that it is not compatible with Stihl products (even though description says it is compatible with Stihl Kombi trimmers), it mounts perfectly with the Kombi system. It has the standard square shaft to attach to, just like all Kombi attachments. With my KM 94R it works great, my trimmer has plenty of power to drive it through dense dirt, clay and even rocks. Works better when soil is dry. Very impressed overall and glad to save more than $100 over the genuine Stihl rototiller attachment.

Fit perfectly and work wonderfully, i use this to remulch my garden, the flower bed along side my house so grassy and lots of weeds because we forgot to remulch it last year. Use this take about 20 minutes and all grass and weeds are OUT....!. And my flower bed ready to be remulch.

I used it on two 4’ x 8’ raised beds and it turned the soil nicely, down to a depth of 4-5 inches. I was leery that the small two cycle engine would produce enough torque to adequately power the tines but it did. The only other thing I would say is that it is unfortunate that they have not engineered a short stationary into the device that you can use to create some resistance to the forward pull of the rotating tines, like on a full size tiller. You have to provide all the resistance with your arms and shoulders and, especially for an old guy like me or a small person, that wears on you pretty quickly. Overall though, I think it is a great product that does exactly what it says it will.
