Bought two of these and love them. They look lovely on our fake trees. However, the base of it doesn't hold well on the stubs of fake trees and has to be tied in place, plus one must handle it very gently as it will break easily. Other than that, its a beautiful tree topper.

Beautiful topper

This is a lovely tree topper. As kthers have said, it iis a fragile piece, but nkt unexpectedly so..it is constructed from delicate shell, and should be handled as such. I used it on a slender 8 ft artificial tree, set on our interior balcony. The glow from the star was warm and showy. The design is exactly what we wanted. We anchored the topper to the tree by wrapping green twist ties to the topper base and then wrapping those ties around the tree top stalk. I have done this with every topper I have owned. It keeps the topper straight and safely affixed to the tree. Very happy with this topper.

Gorgeous

This is the perfect tree topper. And believe me, I'm not easy to please in this area. We've been through 1-2 per year since we got married and nothing fit. This one is just perfect. It's absolutely beautiful with the room lights off and the Christmas tree lit up.

Beautiful...

I bought this because it resembled a tree topper I had as a kid. It makes me feel wistful and happy. I can't say enough nice things about it. It arrived intact and it lights up a tree so nicely.

This is a beautiful tree topper. I'm not sure how durable it is yet, we have only used it this one year. I have had one with a similar bottom that broke after two seasons. So, I took extra precautions with this one when I stored it away after Christmas.

LOVE IT

I read the reviews on this item AFTER I ordered it. I was skeptical at that point. HOWEVER, upon receipt of this yesterday and putting it on top of my tree, I absolutely LOVE IT! .. Its just what IM looking for. Previous reviews state its top heavy and fall over . As with this type of topper, It fits over the top branch . I folded that top branch down and tightly fixed the star over that It stays ok. Theres always a way to make things work. It looks just gorgeous.
