Recieved these yesterday and installed it for my 07 dodge ram 1500 and they fit and work perfect.. its strong and sturdy..

These were very easy to install and work great for the price. There are NO screws or other fasteners required. These work on the ball-and-socket principle, so all you need to do is pry the old ones off, and press the new ones on. A screwdriver or other lever may help with removal, but I was able to do it manually. Bottom Line: My mechanic wanted $80 to replace these supports. I did it myself in 2-minutes for less than $25.

Perfect fit for my Dodge Ram hood lifters. Easy to install. Arrived quickly. Would recommend.

The supports are excellent quality and replacing them took all of 3 minutes. It took longer to open the package and get them out. Never again will I be carrying a pipe to hold my hood up.

Easy to install. Very happy.

My husband loves these for his Dodge!

When I bought my truck, used, a little over a year ago, the hood supports were going bad. They would hold the hood SOMETIMES. I carried a stick around to prop it with but since it wasn't quite long enough, I would end up banging my head on the hood every time I had it open. I put these on hoping they would just hold the hood open but was very happy to see that they actually assist with raising the hood. All you have to do is release the safety latch and give a little bit of lift. These shocks take over and do the rest. They were half the price of the ones I could get locally too.

I used these to replace the dangerous, worn-out gas lift hood supports on my '05 Dodge Ram and they work amazingly, with assisted opening when barely lifting the hood yourself. Not to mention it takes quite a bit (not too much) to pull down and close the hood again but it definitely beats getting hit in the head when your old lifts slowly give out. Plus it's added security and peace of mind when it's that difficult to pull the hood back down. Overall, these are of tremendous quality and a great value! Highly recommended!

Super easy to install, if your hoods even budging a little I recommend going ahead and doing it. This products amazing, soon as I put the first one on it shot the hood up and held it, I gotta stretch to get my hood down now. I will edit my review if product has began to fail me, so if youโ€™re reading this, this comment will be up to date.

They work as expected install in about 30 seconds (if you do it my way) [I just hammered the old ones off hammered the new ones on]...they are a little stiff a first (not a bad thing) but a couple of cycles over some weeks will loosen them up to a oem feel At first the hood shoots up crazy fast upon releasing the latch on the hood (again not a bad thing), to close it you have to almost two hand it, to pull it down the first couple of times, but after about 3 weeks they've loosened up. Just know I accidentally bought two pairs (no big deal) and I can't even push one the struts down with my full weight (260lbs) on one of them. I've tried every possible thing and I've yet to compress them๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ. Better than sticking a piece of wood on the battery to keep it propped up ๐Ÿ˜‚.
