Great for Recipes

We have ordered this shrimp many times now and it has been very reliable in terms of quality. We've used it in jambalaya and pasta dishes primarily. Most of our recipes call for a pound of shrimp, so this bag lasts for two dishes. It's a great value price-wise too!

Excellent quality

Amazon offered these as a Fresh Deal and they were a spectacular bargain. I purchased again as the shrimp were so good, sweet, succulent and tender. They were completely deveined and ready to go. I've found frozen shrimp are best if barely defrosted under running water for a minute or so then salted and let sit for several minutes. Rinse again and dry Drizzle lightly with olive oil, a bit of pepper and bake in a single layer at 400 degrees for 7 to 10 minutes. The roasting seems to intensify their flavor and keep them tender without being watery or rubbery. I'm glad these shrimp are available and so convenient.

I love frozen shrimp

I love frozen shrimp, but am really sensitive to different brands tasting "fishy" or "frozen" (I grew up near the water, so with plenty of fresh seafood). This might not be the best brand I've ever used, but it definitely ranks highly. No freezer "burned" taste and no "off" fishy taste. Just tasty shrimp that cooks quickly and evenly.

Great Raw Shrimp

This is the best frozen raw shrimp I've found anywhere. Very nice that they are both deveined and tail off.

They were so good & tasted fresh

These were amazing. Extremely fresh, which to me is #1. I've bought shrimp so many times that smelled & tasted bad, as it was likely rancid or something. These tasted great.
