Arrived intact and assembled in less than 10 minutes! put the oil in, the gas and it started on the first pull. Used it the first day for 4 hours and the second day for 4 hours. It never skipped a beat! It can run on the ethanol gas but I always run my outdoor equipment on non-ethanol based gas that I can get at a local gas station. It costs a little more but will save you headaches down the road. The fuel shut off valve is a good thing to have when you are not going to use it for a while. I also will be using Sta-Bil fuel treatment when not using it for a while. I also recommend using a treatment for the pump when it will be stored for a while. (something like Black and Decker Pump saver available here on Amazon) It will prevent your seals from drying out while stored and will help in providing a long pump life. I purchased a longer hose (50 Ft) as the hose that comes with the unit, although good quality, was just too short for my needs. If you have a large amount of concrete to clean as I did you may want to consider getting a surface cleaner attachment for your unit and a longer wand (21") to put on your handle. I purchased the Generac 6132 unit as it had the highest rating and seems to be of better quality in comparison to the others that are here. Overall I am very happy with the performance with the unit as well as the compact size. To those out there that complain that they are noisy : IT IS A GAS ENGINE! If you find a silent one (gas engine) let me know and I will buy it. It is quieter than other pressure washers I have used in the past.

I bought this power washer last year. My old Titan Commercial grade washer had finally gone thru enough pumps to turn me off after 13 years of service and I decided I needed, for peace of mind, a new power washer. This one sounded good except for one review referencing a motor mount issue. It seems the issue was a vibration situation and one reviewer said the engine fell off in his driveway. I am a DIY guy and fully capable of protecting myself from such an issue. I have experience with Kohler engines and my experience has been very positive. So, I measured the size of the motor suspension mounts when I first received my washer and ordered a replacement set of fully nylon replacement bushings ($5.00) in case I ever needed them. I also ordered a kit which includes washers, etc as common replacement items (8.00) in case I have need to replace them. To date they both remain in my storage box as nothing whatsoever has happened to make me want to use them. This washer is quiet. low vibration, and powerful. It starts easily, especially if I hold the water pressure off the gun allowing me to pull the start rope rapidly. This is a great product especially for the price. I have a log home in AR which requires frequent maintenance for washing (i.e. black mold, dust, etc). This machine gets the job done easily. I also have the advantage of retaining certain parts off my old washer. My old gun which was a variable, works just fine on this hose and is more useful for certain tasks. I could not be happier with this purchase and highly recommend it to all.

I purchased this for my SunJoe electric pressure washer so that I could quickly disconnect my garden hose from the washer. It is also more sturdy than the one on the pressure washer. I am having an issue with it leaking but I may just have to put some plumbers tape on the threads. I also had to remove the filter from my pressure washer for this to fit properly. These issues are unique to my brand of pressure washer hence the 5 star rating.

This came packaged VERY well. There was packing material around every part that could be damaged in transit. The machine seems to be built with strength--it's more solid than the Toro I had in the past for sure. After easy assembly (a handle, the hoses, etc), I filled the oil reservoir with the oil that came with. Added good clean new gasoline, and it started right up. There was a slight smell as the "newness" of the engine burned off (lasted ten minutes at most). I cleaned the concrete porch and it worked very well. I think I'm going to like this pressure washer. Might be the first "major" purchase I have made online. But I checked my Consumer Reports review, and this machine got rave reviews so I took the chance. More to come once I get some decent weather here in Ohio and get using it more.

For under $300 you cannot find a better pressure washer. Arrived on-time and intact, assembled and started easily in less than 15 minutes. Powerful and light, in the first day and a half of using it I've washed two cars, cleaned the drive and front sidewalk, the brick and mortar lines on one side of our ranch-style, a tiller, two beehive boxes, and my lawn tractor. The Kohler starts and runs flawlessly, and the available pressure is tremendous for such a small package. Beats my previous HONDA washer (a major pain in the butt) hands down. Will recommend this product to friends. NOTE: This line of comments contains bad reviews that appear to be related to a set of Quick-Connects for a Sun-Jo washer. Not this Simpson.

MY OPINION: This pressure washer is great, it runs like a charm and is easy to drag around. Just this past weekend I used it to clean my back patio pavers. It took me about 2 1/2hrs, but the results made it all worth it. Before this washer I had a 3000 PSI husky washer that i used to wash everything... Driveways, pavers, stucco walls, PVC fences. It ran great but just recently failed on me with an internal motor issue. I decided to jump on this Simpson's Pressure Washer and give it a try. So far I really love this pressure washer, it performs very well compared to my Husky. Something great about this pressure washer is the location of the High Pressure Pump, if and when it needs to be replaced Simpson made it very easy to locate and remove. For the price I would definitely recommend this washer. WHAT'S IN THE BOX?? Inside the box you will find: Pressure Washer Gun Stainless Steel Wand Motor, Pump and Wheels already assembled on the frame 1 Bottle of 4 Stroke Oil Instructions/Manuals 5 Attachments, 0*, 15*, 25*, 45*, and Soap 25 Ft High Pressure Hose I was able to assemble all that was necessary too and get out pressure washing in about 5-10 minutes. PSI GUIDE: Light-duty pressure washers are rated below 2000 PSI. They work best for cleaning patio furniture and siding as well as cars, trucks and boats. They can also handle sidewalks, driveways, patios, fences and decks. Medium-duty pressure washers generate between 2000 and 2800 PSI. They handle the same cleaning projects as light-duty models, but are best for siding, fences, decks and patios. Heavy-duty pressure washers put out between 2900 and 3300 PSI. These pressure washers work well for many cleaning jobs, including small areas like sidewalks, large areas like driveways, and jobs such as second-story cleaning. They can also help you prepare surfaces for paint. Extra heavy-duty or professional-duty pressure washers offer 3300 PSI and up. These models handle many of the jobs of other machines, but add more power for paint prep. PROS: Sturdy Construction Very Powerful Makes a job Easy Wheels are Hard Rubber, No Air Required Location on High Pressure Pump, Easy to access. CONS: Location of the exhaust - Easy to burn hand when pull starting.

Bought this to replace a 10 YO Karcher 2200 PSI unit. This Simpson is very good. Extremely happy with the ergonomic design. Picked up a turbo nozzle at a local DIY store and the performance is amazing. Time will tell how the Kohler engine holds up, but so far after 3 x 8 hour uses, everything is working perfectly.

This pressure washer is a beast. I bought this to replace a 12 year old gas Karcher that stopped running. This Simpson makes my old washer look like a little electric washer. There is no real assembly needed. Just put the supplied oil in the engine, fill it up with canned gas, and hook up the hoses. (I learned the hard way not to use pump gas in any seasonal engine.) With the 0° nozzle, this machine will carve concrete. It does seem like the trigger valve on the spray wand is near it's limit and won't always open due to the high pressure. I installed a high pressure wand from an old washer that I like better. You might consider ordering a separate 4000psi wand when you buy this. The horizontal shaft engine fired right up. The pump is aluminum and hangs off the engine block. I like this arrangement better than my old one with a vertical shaft. It is easier to attach the hoses. The high pressure connection is a standard M22 fitting, so standard pressure washer hoses and attachments can be used.

Arrived on the promised date. The product packaging was outstanding. A quick glance at the setup cheat sheet, unpack, set up per directions, put the supplied oil into the crankcase, hook up the hose, fill the fuel tank with ethanol free gas, yank the starter three pulls and I proceeded to clean the front of my home and remove some nasty mildew on the concrete sidewalk. Overall, a great product at a very reasonable price. I later purchased a Generac 32" spray wand replacement, as the short OEM wand is way too short. The product is easily transportable and not a backbreaker when lifting in and out of the trunk of my vehicle. Highly recommended for the average homeowner use. UPDATE - 08/06/17 This Simpson power washer sat in my garage for over a year with a full tank of gas, after several cleaning jobs. I use ethanol free gas with the recommended fuel conditioner. It started on the first pull and performed flawlessly during several hours of use. Yes, I would purchase this product again. I located the recommended "Ethanol Shield" product in the rental dept of the local Home Depot.

It came damaged from the factory but Amazon made it good, including shipping. i couldn't be more pleased with this power washer. very easy assembly. put oil and gas in and it started on the first pull. i wound up using two tanks of gas that day (which is a lot of power washing) and it performed flawlessly.
