This is an awesome backpack for a preschooler. It has a large main compartment, a medium-sized front zip compartment with a mesh pocket, and a side bottle holder. It's high quality too. I didn't want to get my son one of those cheap and cheap-looking backpacks, ya know?! We also have the matching insulated lunch bag, plate and bowl set, and fork and spoon set. The photo was taken 2 months before our son turned 3 (getting off the airplane.) He's 95th percentile height (40") and weight (38 lbs) and wears 4T, so the pic should give you an idea of the backpack size. It should probably work for ages 2 through 6.

My daughter and I loved them. We got the bag and lunch bag. Perfect for Pre-K. So cute I had to put her name on the bags.

Yes, it is a tiny bag. It does not really fit large books and the straps are obviously made for younger kids. However, as a grown adult man I love using this as a gym bag. It's adorable and fits all my swimming and gym equipment perfectly. I wouldn't recommend this bag is you're a serious student with larger book, but if you want an adorable gym bag then this is for you.

We absolutely love it! But we haven't exactly used it at school yet. Haha. I just received it yesterday for my daughter to start pre school. My daughter hasn't taken it off! She is in love guys! This is perfect size for toddler or even young kids. There is a name tag spot, there is a spot to put your drink cup. You can even for a wide ruled notebook in here if need be. It's just perfect sizing. I ordered the lunch box too ( look for my other reviews) and the lunch kit AND their thermos. I'm actually ordering the book bag for my 3 years old for "Moms Morning Out". Great quality, perfect size, not to many compartments, which I love because who knows what my toddler would put in there! Lol we love and recommend 100%

LOVE this backpack! It's cute, and my son LOVES taking a backpack to "school" every morning just like his big sisters. He even hauled it across the Chicago airport on his own at Christmastime--and he was only 18 months old! It's just his size and fits a lunchbox, a change of clothes perfectly, with room for a couple little toys, a pair of shoes, a lovey, or his winter hat, as well. Great quality with large zipper pulls so he can zip it himself. Holds its shape well, so it's easy for him to set it down and put things in it. Definitely a good buy. Glad I bought it.

I LOVE this backpack even more than my toddler does (though now at 2 years old she's starting to get the idea). It's just too adorable for words. Wouldn't recommend it for adult use (as a diaper bag for example) though. I've used it as a day-pack to walk to the park and packed diapers, clothes, snacks, drinks, and a small ball, and my armpits were rubbed raw in about thirty minutes. It's pretty uncomfortable on grown-up shoulders because the shoulder strap is only partially padded (up to the point that little shoulders would hit) so when a medium-sized (maybe even small) adult wears it, the rougher part of the straps begin around the armpits and rub them raw. Perfectly for little shoulders though. And again, SO CUTE.

My 2 year old loves everything horses and unicorns. And she loves backpacks. I was afraid this would be too big for her to strap on, but it wasn't. She strapped it on and carried it into daycare. It has room to hold a ton of stuff and we haven't filled it to capacity yet. We downsized from her diaper bag now that she's potty trained and we don't have to take her cloth diapers in everyday. It fits her lunch, snacks and extra clothes in case hers get dirty. And her chapstick and sunglasses, because obviously she can't leave home without them. I love that it has two good sized compartments. The smaller one has a mesh pocket. It's so versatile, but not too bulky. I'm pretty sure we're going to be buying the matching collection.

I am a full grown adult, but gosh darn it I love bees. The first time I saw this bag's happy little smile my heart just sang. It took me two years to gather the courage to just get the bag. "What if people judge me?" "Will it be big enough for my daily things?" "I wear a backpack every day to work, will this lil guy be able to hold up?" Here's the results: -This little backpack brings smiles to everyone I pass. I have gotten so many compliments on it and by gum, it makes me happy to see it every day. -I've been able to cram a winter sweater AND a 24oz hydroflask in there. With room to spare. -It's waterproof. I've been caught in several torrential downpours already and all of my work papers were perfectly dry. -a month in and it still looks brand new, every seam is good and no straining -so easy to clean! It'll stay a sunny yellow for years to come. My only complaint is that I had to add some length to the straps, but that's expected because it's designed for toddlers. At any rate it was a 50 cent and hour long fix. Not a big deal. I honestly could only be happier if there were more than 4 pockets. I love this backpack with all my heart, it brightens my day.

I love this backpack. I could not find the Bee in my usual store, so I was happy to find it on Amazon. And the price was equivalent or even less then I would have paid in the store. My daughter's nickname is Be so I had to get this for her! It is one of the toddler sized backpacks. Size wise it works well for my 3 year old. Seem to resist dirt. Not too dirty yet :-). We have not tested it in day to day going to preschool yet! But so far staying in my car for extra clothes and to go to activities it works well.

My 5 year old started PreK this year and she loves this bookbag. She is very tall for her age and wears a size 7-8, but this bookbag still fits her very well. The only issue I have is that a regular sized folder, from her class, will not fit in the bag. Her teacher has to fold the folder in half. I’m sure the dimensions are listed, and my fault for not paying attention, but we love the bag so much we don’t care that the folder doesn’t fit. The quality of the bag is great. The zippers are not flimsy, the seams of the bag seem well put together. I think it will last her the whole year.
