Space saving, Well thought out little scale

I'm really digging this All-in-one scale! I sell on ebay and needed a good all around scale........this was it! Very easy to use and doesn't take up a lot of space. It will either run off 3 AAA batteries { included} or 5V adaptor.....just plug it in and you're ready to go. I also like the weight Capacity--up to 50lbs; Sensitivity--0.1oz. When unpacking, don't forget to remove the foam strips they placed in between the scale and base, I almost didn't see them! Also, if you read the instructions? Seems some reviewers didn't? The scale has a hold button on the right side of the scale, which basically lets you keep the weight of the item on the screen when weighting those large items that inhibit you from seeing the screen, until you remove that item. Definitely a plus! It also has a flip-up lid on the top of the scale for those items that won't stand easily on their own. Great little scale, user friendly and well thought out, can't beat it for the price.

So pleased with this scale

This scale has been a lifesaver!! I purchased this product mainly for my Etsy based business and for small amounts of personal use. I was shipping packages daily and waiting in line at the post office wasn't working for me. This product has an on/off switch so I can keep it plugged in. It comes with batteries and the ability to opperate on them but I prefer to use the AV jack. This could be useful for travel though and I'm happy it has the options. It's perfect for me because I mainly shipping small, lightweight objects. This scale is a great price and successfully gets the job done. Bottom line: this scale accurately weighs packages, great price, and compact. Would recommend!

GREAT PURCHASE AND VALUE!

EASY SET UP AND PERFECT FOR MY ONLINE BUSINESS. I have this set up on my desk for quick weight and label printing using the battery operated feature versus the wall plug. I have occasionally moved it from my desk to my office floor to weigh large boxes. The hold feature is amazing when the large box blocks the screen. I simply reach under the box to the side and tap the hold button, remove the large box from the unit and enter my info to print the label. I've had it for a few weeks now with no major issues. The auto shut off after a few mins is great as I usually forget to turn things off. Even then the stock batteries included are still functional. My only concern is the stand feature. The top of the scale can be lifted up to position tall boxes or items that need to be standing to weigh. It occasionally sticks making it difficult to open up and use that feature that I'm afraid to break it if i tug too hard. I don't use it often so it's not a big deal but definitely something to note. I've already recommended it to a few other small business owners and will re-purchase if needed but I think it will last a long time.

Must have for Ebay sellers

This scale is awesome. Takes up little space on my desk and weighs accurately. I needed this to weigh packages for selling on Ebay before buying postage. When I drop off my packages at the post office they are weighed and have been all correct. I weigh then round up by one ounze when buying postage on Ebay and printing my shipping label since this scale has a margin of error of one ounce. To make sure it was calibrated correctly I looked up the weight of two US quarters then put them on the scale. It was spot on! I have enough confidence in this scale now to buy postage and simply put in the post office drop box and not waste time in line having them verify weight anymore. Post office wanted $50 to buy a scale from them.

Great little scale for shipping packages that are of reasonable size

This scale is great. Seems very accurate, self calibrating, and the digital readout is easy to see. It comes with both a power adapter to plug into the wall and batteries for portable use which is a great feature. Hit the on button, wait until the screen reads 0.0, set your item on it, done. Great device. You will have to get creative if you need to weigh anything bigger than the platform though, which is fine because you can just zero the scale with the button on the right so it ignores the weight of whatever larger platform setup you add.

Tested with a calibration weight and this scale is extremely accurate

Very convenient and very accurate. I bought a 500G calibration weight (American Weigh Scales 500WGT) and the scale registered various weights between 498G and 500G depending on where I located the weight on the platform. 500G with it at the front; 498G in the middle. Then I put a piece of wood on the scale, set the tare to zero, and tried again. This time I got 500G no matter where the weight went. My theory is that the weight slightly tilted the platform when it was directly on the platform. In practice, I always am weighing a cardboard box for shipping, so the weight would be fairly evenly distributed, doing what the piece of wood did. So, my conclusion is that this scale is very accurate. One minor inconvenience is that if you have a large object that blocks the readout you have to reach under to press the HOLD button. But, I think there will always be a way to do this. There's no way to set HOLD before weighing -- only during. Not a problem.

I purchased my Accuteck All-in-One Digital Scale in order to help me calculate the cost of postage accurately for the many small parcels I mail out each week. Prior to having this scale, I was estimating the weight of my parcels, and it didn't take me long to discover that my estimates were almost always wrong... on the heavy side. As a result, I was spending a lot of unnecessary money for postage. When I opened the box with my new Accuteck digital scale in it, I was immediately surprised by two things: 1.) How very well constructed this item is; and 2.) how compact it is, considering its capability to weigh items up to 50 pounds (22.68kg). Here are some of the things I like best about my Accuteck digital scale: 1. As I mentioned before, it is very well built and compact in size. It fits easily into a small space on a desktop. 2. The digital display is large and easy to read. 3. It operates on both battery and AC power, and an AC adapter and three AAA batteries are included. 4. The scale is dead-on accurate. I checked its precision using a few items of known weight, and it weighed each item to within 0.01 ounce (283.5mg) of its stated weight. The scale required no calibration. It was ready to go right out of the box. 5. It is very good value for money. In the few days I've owned my new Accuteck digital scale, I've used it frequently, and it has already enabled me to save on the cost of postage for items I've mailed. I think this is an essential tool for anyone operating any small online retail business. Highly recommended. .

Awesome Scale! A real time-saver!

I run a small Etsy business out of my home, and I got tired of making trips to the post office every time I needed to ship an order. Etsy offers the ability to print shipping labels that would save me from having to wait in line at the post office for each package I send, but in order to accurately determine shipping costs, I needed a scale. After shopping around and comparing a number of different options, I decided to give this scale a try. It shipped quickly, and was incredibly easy to set up and start using. I love that it comes with both battery and plug in power options. This means I can save batteries while working at home, but it also gives me the flexibility to take it on the go. The scale is small enough to be convenient, but large enough to handle all of my needs. I think it can handle up to 50 lbs, but I rarely send anything over a pound or two, so it is more than enough for my small business. So far it has been accurate and I have had no issues with weighing packages to determine accurate shipping costs. I am very happy with this purchase, and I would highly recommend this scale to anyone who is running a small business and needs to weigh and ship numerous packages each week. Not only is it easy to use and accurate, but this was one of the most affordable models I found as well. Often times a lower price means poor quality, but I was pleasantly surprised by this model; it is a great value for the quality of the scale. I can also tell you that investing in a scale that enables me to weigh and print shipping labels at home was a great decision. The time I save now that I no longer need to wait in line at the post office for each package makes it more than worth the investment. simple and accurate

This is the perfect digital scale. I work as a chemist and I have dealt with scales, callibration of scales, etc. Let me say this very simple to use and the convenience is 10/10. I had purchase one because I sell on sites such as ebay, mercari, poshmark, etc and it helps to know how much your package/ item weighs so you can calculate and factor in shipping. I knew I didnt need something super accurate ( to the thousands + place) so this was perfect. It was very accurate and I had no discrepancies with the package weight when scanned by the post office. I think one best features of this scale in my opinion aside from the accuracy, is that can be either plugged in or powered by battery. My battery died and I didn't have any batteries left so I plugged it in and got right back to work! I definitely recommend this to anyone who sells things online and needs to weigh their packages. Its simple and accurate!

Perfect scale for mailing small and medium packages.

Perfect scale for mailing. Has a nice hold button on the side so that when you can't see the display, you press the button and it will "hold" the weight on the display so you can remove your package and still see how much it weighs. Very pleased for the price.
