Worth it
I needed a heater for my kids rooms, it had to be safe, in every way. This is expensive yes, but I have touched it when it’s been running for hours and it’s “warm” to the touch. I can’t see this ever being dangerous or a fire hazard though I still am careful about using it. Great product and it really does warm up a room effectively! You can set a temperature and forget it. It’s quiet and has a nice sleek look to it.

Cool, Lovely, and Child-Safe!
This fan has been a lifesaver in the summer heat! It's powerful enough to keep me cool at night and quiet enough not to keep me awake. I like the bladeless design so it's safe around kids (and adults!), and the remote has been really convenient to use from bed. I love the color and finish - feels well made and it's very aesthetically pleasing!

Quiet, Efficient
I live in a small loft in Atlanta, and this is perfect for those mornings in the bathroom bathing and doing my hair to keep a little warmer in the winter; and a real godsend in the summer to keep the room cool while blow drying my hair. It is very user friendly and quiet. Very quiet.

Worth the Money for the Safety and Peace of Mind!
We purchased this for our daughter’s nursery and we love it. We were willing to spend the extra money for safety and peace of mind. The heater gets slightly warm but it doesn’t burn you when you touch it and there aren’t any blades involved. It turns off when it falls. It does a good job keeping her room warm and it isn’t too noisy. I am very happy we went with the Dyson.

Dyson keeps killing it!
Got this for my wife’s little getaway thing we have for yoga. It has not made it out there yet lol! Very sleek... dare I say sexy looking fan. Dyson never lets me down, and they haven’t again. This is a great product the choice of hot or cold with all the tilt and oscillating features plus the fan angle for narrow or wide make this a killer. The unit is controlled by a little remote that conveniently magnets to the top of the fan. Simple on/ off timer setting in 15 minute intervals make it great for a set and forget approach. We love it for killing that morning chill and I actually used the fan part yesterday for the first time and was very impressed. We live in Arizona so once the summer hits I’ll update how it cools... should be the ultimate test for it. I will say I bought it during the Xmas season and got a hell of a deal on it... I’m not sure if I’d pay full price for the unit that is my one complaint. The fan is amazing I think we might end up buying another for that yoga room because this one is staying in the house;)

Heats well, quiet, looks nice
I have a basement (roughly 1100 sqft) that gets about 15 degrees cooler than the main floor in between summer and winter when the HVAC isn't running as much. I was worried that this would basically be a warm fan, but that's just the immediate effect after turning it on. Given maybe a n hour (and especially after a few hours) the heater kicks into a lower gear and my basement is cozy. The first time I used it, I actually turned the heat to 78 thinking I should make it kick out more heat, but by that afternoon the basement was warmer than the main floor, so I set it to the same temperature as the main floor and it's quite comfortable. The basement does use 4x6s in the walls as is fairly common now for extra insulation, so I doubt you'd get the same effect in a poorly insulated basement, or even in a garage in the winter when it gets to below freezing and the door opens multiple times a day. However it works perfectly for my needs. Additionally, the heat it pumps out is rather comfortable, the fan does not blow very hard (I mostly don't feel it) and it doesn't dry out the air. The fan itself is rather quiet, you can hear it but it shouldn't bother you. It's quite safe for children, my 2yo is obsessed with it so I made sure it didn't get too hot, (You should do the same before you let your kids or pets near it). Finally, it is rather attractive. I was a bit hesitant on other models of heaters because they looked like something you'd see in a retro 1970s home or a college kids dorm, but I rather like the look of this one especially for the effect.

COMPACT FEATURE-RICH COMBO FAN AND HEATER WITH SMALL FOOTPRINT AND REMOTE CONTROL
What a great idea! I was looking for a combination fan and heater I could use to take the edge off the temperatures in my office area. It was the right height (not too tall as other vertical fans or heaters) to fit near the outlet and the shape is pleasing, unlike other rounder models. It had more features that I could ask for: it can point in one direction or turn back and forth, a timer can be set, I can raise or lower the temperature easily, it can tilt a little, it's simple to keep clean, and has a magnetic cling remote control! It really "wowed" me. Since I don't have to use it constantly, I keep it unplugged until needed. The only thing that bothers me is that the remote control sometimes falls off the curved top of the unit, despite the magnetic feature. Also, if the remote got lost, I have no idea how I could use the fan/heater. I wish there was a pocket to store it on the side. All in all, it's a wonderful little addition to my office, never in the way with its small footprint. Whatever I paid for it was worth spending.

The AM09 Fan Heater is equally efficient as a fan and a heater. Terrific product.
Love the AM09 Fan Heater. This is the second one I've purchased. I would like to have two more of the AM09s If I didn't already have two of the tower fans. Terrific product, have used the heater every morning to warm up the house. Live in southern California and the mornings are damp and cold. Thank you for such an amazing product.

Well worth it.
While the cost of this beast is hard to swallow for a lot of people, it has been a real work horse in our home. We initially bought it to further regulate the temperature in our newborns room while he slept and 18 months later he still uses it every night to keep him at the perfect temp. I like a cold house and that just isn't a sentiment shared by my wife. This fan with its hot and cold functions is the perfect solution.

Fancy!
I got it 40% off during Thanksgiving, but it is still $300 (including tax). I do think it is worth the money. It is super light, very easy to "assemble" (actually just screwing the base", it produces warm air within seconds, and very quiet. I would say it appear to be much safer than a conventional heater. Also can auto-shut off when reaching the target temperature. It also tricks people think you are a fancy person. I live in Southern California, which isn't too cold, so it was sufficient to warm up a room quickly without warming up an entire apartment... Considering it can also be used during summer as a fan, I think $300 was a reasonable buy. However, even though I do like Dyson, I am not sure if I am willing to pay full price...
