I bought this so I can use my yarns that come on a cone much easier. It works perfect for that. It has just enough of a weighted base to keep upright and spins very freely. I'm glad I finally decided to buy this.

This yarn holder has made my crocheting so much better. It eliminates twisting of my yarns a d threads. Thread mostly, it twists a d makes crocheting difficult because I have to stop and remove the twists in the thread. I no longer have to do that.

Perfect for the price

Have only been using this for a few days, but so far it's great! It's a simple design but I think that will keep it working well for many years. It is actually two wooden pieces, allowing the top part to spin freely on the base without any bearings or other hardware. It holds one yarn cake, I know with some larger ones you can stack 2 or 3 cakes if you're doing colorwork. Before, I would pull a long length of yarn free from the cake every few rows. Now I can just knit away without stopping. I cannot believe I hadn't heard of these yarn holders earlier. It's perfect for the pricepoint. Glad I bought it!

Yarn spindle

The yarn spindle is a wonderful product. I wish I had had one years ago. The yarn doesn't get tangled and it spools off of the spindle easily and quickly. I am going to purchase another one so I can have two projects going at the same time. Love it!

Great yarn holder

This yarn holder is great! I use it a lot to put my small balls of yarn on for dishrags. Does what it says it will do! Saves a lot of time. Keeps yarn from tangling! I would recommend to everyone

A great addition to your yarn crafting tools

I've been a knitter and crocheter for almost 60 years. This is one of the best helpers I've ever found. No more balls of yarn rolling off my lap and onto the floor. No more stopping to undo tangles. I would recommend this well-crafted product to anyone who knits or crochets and has an end-table next to their favorite spot to put it on.

Ingenious!

Don’t know how I got along without this! Some skeins of yarn almost have to be used from the outside, in! Makes using the yarn from the outside easy. As you pull on the yarn, this little gem turns, releasing the yarn as fast or slow as you want it! No pulling out half the yarn from the inside so you can use the inside yarn first. I can see the colors coming from the outside as easily and this spool is SO easy. Thank you knitting angels!!

I LOVE THIS THING!

I've been struggling with tangled yarn for ages. A friend made me a big yarn bowl, which I love and set in the bottom of my travel craft bag for on the go projects. This yarn holder is the piece I use at home. I set it on the floor or table next to me and fly through my projects without having to untangle yarn. I recommend it for all knitters and crocheters.
