Awesome value!

For the price, this is a great corset. I purchased the gold one in a size large (I'm 5'1 155lbs, large bust, smaller waist) and it works well, if a little snug. The straps adjust a couple of sizes, so I was able to get a good fit without them falling down. It has some steel boning at least near the hooks in front, which means I can lace it up fairly tightly. I don't go as snug with it as I would my 100% steel boned one however. It still gives me a flattering waist though and definitely holds everything in! I've bought other corsets on amazon that weren't nearly as good as this one. it's not as restricting as my fully steel boned corset that I bought at a renfair for 5 times as much, but it's damned good quality for the price!

I am 5'4 1/2 and weigh around 170 (I am rather muscular/fit though) and I got the 4XL and it fit well on me. The sizes are a tad misleading obviously. I do not wear a 4XL in my other clothes. I am usually a large or around a size 12-14. For the price, this is really cute and the quality is satisfying. I got a lot of compliments wearing this on Halloween this year, and wore it to 5 different parties that weekend. I predict this will be a fun go to vest for various gatherings to come! I am happy with my purchase! Also, it came rather quickly after I ordered it which was awesome! Thank you!

I am 5'7, 205lb, 38CD, I usually wear an XL and a size 14 jeans or 15/16 slacks. I have an hour glass shape. I used the measurement (and comments) to order a 5XL, it fits like it was made for me. Super flattering, sexy and well made!

I love this corset! I bought it in brown for a steampunk pirate look, and in black 2 brocade for a RennFest outfit! It's easy to wear and super comfortable all day!

Two from this listing fit differently

I purchased 4X - I think I can put some of the sizing issues to bed - I accidentally checked out my cart with the brown striped corset in it, and then on purpose purchased the black velvet version. whether it's actual construction, fabric give, or other factors... the brown one fit with very little adjusting, (i had just loosened/opened it up a little), the black velvet had no give - and is at the max of the panel's allowance, which I'm going to modify since the panel is rounded and is visibly at it's limit. I hope this information helps some of those out there trying to decide. I will also say these are proportioned well for a longer torso.

Black velvet underbust-5 star purchase!

I am 5'7", 42C, 36, 42, and weigh around 205lbs. I ordered the 5x upon the advice if other reviewers since this will be part of a costume. It is *very* comfortable and I do plan on lacing it tighter for faire, and I have plenty of room to do so! The pictures are straight from the package with only minimal adjustments. The corset seems to be incredibly sturdy with a modesty panel in the back, the side strap ribbons are adorable and incredibly useful. The fabric is wonderfully velvety and an excellent true-black. The front closure is incredibly sturdy little metal brackets, and it does not roll when I sit (so far so good!) The shoulder laces slip unless you make absolutely certain they are tied tightly and the back is laced just-so. Have a friend or partner help for best results. You may decide to get fancier corset laces...but I am incredibly satisfied. J'adoređź’—

Beautiful quality!

This is a beautiful underbust corset that's made with great quality. Actually, I'm very surprised by how well made it is. It's substancial and lined. The other reviews are what influenced my decision to buy this underbust corset, so I recommend reading through them. Yes, the size does run small. I ordered a 2XL. I rated it too small only because the sizes seem to run small. Order 1-2 sizes larger, and it should be great. My measurements are: ht = 5'9" wt = 155 lbs. waist = 32, bust = 36, hips = 41. I normally take a size 6-8. It fits prefectly to my curves, and I'm able to loosen the upper back to accomodate my broad shoulders. I'm really happy I ordered the size I did, and highly recommend it.

You'll be thrilled!

I was hesitant to order a corset online but loved the look of this and gave it a go- I definitely don't regret it! It's beautiful and quality material, I love it! I've only worn it out twice but have gotten a ton of compliments! For sizing let me say I knew this would probably run a little small and ordered accordingly. I'm 5'8", 140lbs, 34D and ordered the XXL. Fits perfectly. Also I have a long torso so alot of corsets look too short on me, this one was just right. If you're considering buying but hesitant like I was, I recommend you go for it! One last thing- in addition to the usual "rate this product" email from Amazon I received an email from Camilla's asking about my satisfaction along with their adamant willingness to assist me if the sizing didn't work for me, including a phone #. I'll absolutely be ordering more of their products!
