Honestly, I ordered it thinking I would probably just have to return it, but hoping it would work. It's FANTASTIC! Easy and convenient to scan my many bins full of family photos over the years while watching a show. doesn't need a power source, just your laptop. I can put multiple pictures on the scanner and it will scan each one into an individual file. Quite a few original of my pictures were very old and dim from age or just lousy picture taking abilities. This scanner actually lightened those pictures while still making them look natural and great, so much so that I'll be able to use them in the digital photo books I'm making! Very please. Won't return and when it wears out eventually like all electronic do in time, I'll order another one.

I had a ton of old photos to scan and was looking for a device which would scan four at a time. This Scanner does just that. I just put a photo in each corner and the scanner creates four separate photos in one round.

This thing works like a champ. Within 10 minutes of taking it out of the box I put it to work. I bought this to digitize decades of old photos. Within the first 2 weeks of ownership I had done 1300 photos. The digital copies are better than the prints, I would have paid twice what I did and still be happy. Can't beat it for that money. Of course I am not a pro photographer I wanted a way to save my old prints and it does a great job and you don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure it out.

I grabbed this on a Black Friday sale, since the inspiration hit me to digitize all my family photos before they get swept away in a tornado or some such. It's a no-frills photo scanner, but it works wonderfully. Scans pictures in about 10-15 seconds, the image quality is good, it auto-crops your photos (which I LOVE), and saves them automatically in your My Photos folder. At first I was a little nervous because my laptop doesn't have a disc drive to install the driver, but I was able to find a link to it on Epson's website, so no further issues from there. I've scanned about 200 photos so far, and still truckin'! Great purchase, would recommend.

I love Epsom products - this was larger than it appeared (my bad, I didn't check measurements) but its a lot faster than using my printer and it has a built in stand that reduces the space it takes up. I just stand it beside my laptop and slip in the photos. It also does a great job of restoring color in faded photos. I'm trying to copy all the old photos and put them on DVD's so everyone in the family had copies, so they don't get loss or worst of all destroyed.

This scanner is very easy to install and set up straight out of the box. I use it to scan old high school yearbooks and it is very easy to scan to the center of the yearbooks pages. I am able to scan pages one at a time or many individual photos at a time from each page. The quality of each scan is quite good and there is a setup menu to custom set each page scanned. The set up also allows me to select a folder to scan to, the type of image file to save. The scanner bed top is very easy to remove and replace. The scanner is everything I expected and am very pleased with it.

I bought this as a gift for my mother because she had a lot of old family photos that she wanted to make prints of. It works well and is fairly easy to use. The only issue I had with it was a software glitch where it installed the scanner twice and I had to delete the duplicate device profile so it would work properly. Other than that, I've had no problems with it. It's fast and creates clear quality images.

I love this scanner. I actually had given away a higher end scanner as I thought my all in one printer- scanner -fax would be sufficient for my needs. When I started scanning some old pictures, I wasn't happy with the All in One so I bought one of these. Couldn't be more satisfied. It is small, does not require an electrical outlet and scans up to 1200 dpi. I use Photoshop Elements to scan in my pictures. The software that comes with the V19 would just be an extra step for me. I scan the pic at 1200 dpi into Photoshop Elements and select the part of the picture I want to keep. Then I paste it into a new Elements file and save as a Tiff which is lossless and as a jpg so that I can load it to Ancestry.com. For my purposes, this is all I need.

I needed to have a scanner for my work. I got this because of price and the company Epson. The scanner works great. It will do many formats including .pdf which is what I needed. Scans are very clear and I have had it for months which has me writing this review. The funny thing is when it arrived, my wife said it looks cute. I'm like ok and took it to work. When I got it hooked up to my work pc. Setup was easy and quick. One of my female fellow workers said: "Awe, it's cute"...Me: ??? It is a good quality product that does great scans that I needed. Girls think it's cute.

Purchased this scanner to copy old family photographs. It is simple to use and set up. I like that it plugs into my computer with USB cord and does not require an additional power cord to work. Scanning starts with the push of a button on the front of the scanner. It scans quickly and produces nice quality scans for photos and documents. Much simpler to use than previous scanners I have owned. It is so compact, I can store it in a drawer when not in use. It would be light weight and portable to transport in a laptop bag. I use it with a MacBook and it works smoothly. Highly recommend the Epson Perfection V19.
