What I like most about this backpack is how open minded it ...
What I like most about this backpack is how open minded it is. I really appreciate how it doesn’t judge me when I go on about politics or why I think Gelato is the most underrated contender in the dessert world.

Can't beat the quality.
I've had it for well over a year now and it shows almost no signs of wear. I use it daily for bring a few basic tools and paperwork to work. It gets thrown around in different vehicles all the time and is still as good as new. It's spendy for a backpack but after going through about a backpack every 6months to 1yr I figured I'd try this guy. It's great. Worth every penny.

Nice spacy bag
I love this bookbag! I carry it to work. It has a lot of sections to it which makes it nice. Two side pockets that fit water bottles. It is comfortable to wear on one shoulder or both. Perfect for men and women!

Great looking and durable. Surprisingly affordable.
My 17 year old son needed a new backpack for carrying books. He has lots of "cool" backpacks that hold an overnight change of clothes etc, but that aren't durable for heavy-weight oops. He picked this and it's been great. Doesn't show dirt. Comfortable to carry

Love Carhartt
Fits shoulders/back very comfortably. Several different size pockets. I have found this brand to be durable. Would buy again.

Durable bag
Purchased this as a gift for his carry on bag for our airplane trip. There are a lot of pockets to put snacks, cellphone, etc. very well made.

Touring approved
I took this backpack on a theater tour that I was managing for a couple of months. I stuffed this thing full daily-- laptop, cords, pounds and pounds of paperwork, water bottle, shower supples, food-- whatever. It had seemingly endless amounts of space, and doesn't look worse for wear at all. Now I'm back in NYC and use it for my daily commute. This thing is the best backpack I've ever had. The should straps are comfortable, without it being very heavy.

Insanely durable, stylish
Bought this bag to use for my work laptop and documents. The bag just feels study taking it out of the box. The water resistant fabric almost feels like denim. Sturdy padding on the bottom and back ensure that the contents are safe and secure. The padded laptop pouch fits my 15 inch notebook perfectly. It also has a second pouch that holds my iPad. Highly recommended. This bag should last me a very long time. Edit: about two months after having the bag, the section with the laptop pouch started to unravel. I contacted Carhartt customer service directly. They provided a free replacement once I sent pictures of the damage. Excellent customer service and they have my business going forward.

My son loves this!
My 21 year old son that is in an apprenticeship program loves his new back pack. He really like Carhardtt items and this didn’t disappoint. Very good and solid feeling bag! I know it will last for years for him!

Great for students with heavy books!
Fantastic, heavy duty and well built. The straps are well padded and distribute the weight of a heavy bag well. I fit 3 books, a binder, notebook, lap top, pencil bag, charger, and headphones in. There was still plenty of room for my wallet, keys, a lunch bag and another large book. Room for water bottles on the side pockets. Last semester the weight of my books killed my shoulders and the straps eventually started tearing. With a similar load this semester, my shoulders barely notice the weight. The zippers are heavy duty, it’s well constructed and I’m counting on this backpack to last. Another bonus is that it’s not enormous on my back. I wouldn’t call it “minimalist” but it’s also not bulky or tacky.
