I used this portable PA system for a book launch. I put the lapel microphone on and placed the speaker on top of a bookcase in the middle of a long room. I was told by the people at the other end of the building (maybe 60 feet away) that they could hear every word as if I were standing next to them. AND, it wasn't over amplified. It was a very good solution for under $150 including sales tax on Amazon Prime! P.S. Overnight delivery was AWESOME.:)

I bought this to use indoors for groups of up to about 100. I appreciate someone's suggestion to place it at the back of the room: The people in the back hear the sound from the speaker, those in the front hear the person. So far, this has worked great for my wife's Newcomers Club meetings.

I purchased three for our school one year ago. They are used daily for all classes. Very clear sound. Sound carries to next room, if needed. Two classrooms next to each other are no problem with interference. The teachers all find the handheld mic or headset to work the best. The lapel does not pick up as well. Also, I bought rechargeable batteries and chargers for each teacher. Excellent! I will be buying more this year for more teachers.

The basic potable PA system can be clumsy and frail, but not this one. My writing club purchased one and was pleased. The word got around and we bought one as well. Extra mics, lapel clip, headset, lithium battery and charging units are included that makes this a sweet deal. And the price dropped just before we bought ours. Sweeter!

Ok, I HAVE to say this! I'm a professional musician that plays dozens of beach weddings every year here in South Florida, some small - and some quite large. I have two Roland BA 330's that I connect together for my larger ones, and was looking for a small unit with two wireless microphones and an auxiliary out to connect to my bigger systems, and decided to give these a try. When I first tested this little gem (without connecting it to my bigger system) I was very surprised by how loud this was and the quality of the tone. (great bass from such a little speaker!) It sounds great, and is perfect ALL BY ITSELF for my wedding up to 25 - 30 people. (and a lot lighter than what I've been using) When connected to my bigger battery operated systems, it sounds amazing, ***but be advised that using the AUX OUT on this unit requires a MONO 1/8 TS plug, a stereo one will not work. The operating range for the wireless is more than adequate, though it seemed better on the handheld than the headset at the wedding I used it at yesterday. All in all, this is a great product, and will be looking to perhaps trying some of the bigger Hisonic systems in the future as well.

I've been waiting for a battery powered portable PA with microphone and the capability to simultaneously play music.. This product fit the bill very well. It has a powerful sound for it's small size and the microphone is decent - especially for the price. I'm a professional entertainer and have been toying with volunteer street performing for the under privileged in my area. I have had this for 4 months now and haven't had any issues. The bluetooth pairing with my ipod works easily. I've read reviews stating that the carrying case breaks easily but mine has been fine - should anything arise it looks as though it could be easily repaired with needle and strong carpet thread. It's fairly lightweight and with the long carrying strap, somewhat discreet. So far the battery has held its charge well for several hours. At some point I'll test the battery to it's maximum. I highly recommend this and will update this review farther down the road.

Great product. My only gripe, not fault of Hisonic, is if you use the mp3 3.5 connection, the volume is low because the cell phone thinks you're using ear plugs. Use the bluetooth or regular 3.5 option. It's really loud for a small unit. Battery lasts a long time. Both mics work at the same time too. I really like this product and look forward to using it for teaching.

I am using this as a trainer and coach teaching and presenting at various client sites to groups of 40-50 people on average. This things rocks. It has an uncanny ability to fill a huge room with sound. The stick mic is as good as any I've used. The lavalier mic has great pickup but is a little light on bass, but works just great. The range of the stick is better than the lavalier transmitter, and the latter occasionally has a dead zone. I have used this is various rooms, and several times in a room 100 feet by 30 feet. Position it so it reflects off walls and you get erie coverage :) The bluetooth works perfectly, and yes you have to re-pair each time you power cycle it, but it takes but a second or two. All in all this is a great piece of kit that fits into the back of a Samsonite rolling office, and flies with me wherever I am presenting. It has saved my throat, and made for a much more polished delivery than shouting all day. Battery life is over 12 hours in all day use, and I have been unable to flatten a battery in either mic in a full day of use. I use 600ma 9v rechargeable batteries, but have also used standard 9v disposables all with the same results.

Evaluated several different PA systems, several many dollars more expensive and heavier. Finally decided on this one after extensive research online reading several reviews. So very glad I did! This system is just what we needed at a price that didn't break the bank. It will be used in a classroom setting with several 'senior' students. Most of these 'Bible Study Students' use a hearing aid. This is the only system we tried that worked just as we needed it to. Light enough for us to move it around, hand held mic is light and very responsive. The lapel mic is a little weak however the headset mic is perfect. Easy setup, put batteries in, turn it on an use it. Recommend it very strongly. Called sales to get another hand held mic. actually got a real person!! No voice mail, please hold etc. Love this unit. So glad we purchased this one.

For the size of the product it does what it's supposed to very well. I used to have the Happi Amp but the battery died in it and this is half the price. I have used it for crowds of 100 and they can hear me just fine. My only complaint is the carrying case is a little small for it.
