I love wine! Cheap wine that tastes good? Even better. This turned a bottle of two buck chuck into a really nice Chardonnay. So I tried it on a better bottle of wine I usually keep on hand. Wow! I didn't think that $20 wine could get better but it did. Box wine? Improved! Really good bottles? Improved. About two months after I bought it the tab that locks the two pieces together broke off. I was skeptical that the lifetime guarantee would be honored. I have bought things here before that had lifetime guarantee only to find the company no longer exists. I sent my claim in and they offered to replace it and even expedited it to me for free. Can't say enough about their customer service. Friendly, helpful and fast. Not everyday you find a company that is true to there word. Ordered a few other items to give as gifts. Would definitely buy from them again in a heartbeat.

Give Your Wine Some Air!

Does just what it says! The aeration of the wine, especially a young red, smooths out the wine and cuts excess acidity. My choice is to decanter the wine using the aerator. This adds another level of aeration and helps even an inexpensive wine taste great. I don't find it necessary to aerate a white wine but then again, I drink very little white wine. Try this with one of the better box wines like Black Box Can and you will notice a marked difference in taste and smoothness between right from the box and through the Vintoro

AWESOME PRODUCT!!

After hearing about a similar product on TV, I decided to look on Amazon and try one out for myself. There were several wine aerators, but what drew me to this product were two things: (1) the amazing customer reviews it had received and (2) the fantastic customer service of Vintorio. After purchasing the product and completing a "wine testing" (one glass poured straight from the bottle and one glass poured through the Vintorio aerator), my wife and I could immediately taste the difference! The reactions were "wow", "this is amazing", "the wine tastes so much better", etc. Every glass of wine I have now, I pour through the aerator. Box 1 checked: amazing customer reviews verified. Unfortunately, I had a small issue with my device, and I ended up contacting customer service two months after I purchased the product. (Sidenote: the product comes with a lifetime guarantee, so make sure to submit the information through Vintorio's website.) I contacted customer service on a Saturday and by Sunday morning, I had a response! An extremely friendly lady named Vivian told me Vintorio would replace the product free of charge and not to worry about sending back the old product. How does it get any better than that? Well, it does, because she expedited my replacement product! Box 2 exceeded in spades: phenomenal customer service. Buy the product and your wine drinking experience will forever be changed!

I bought this for my Dad who really likes his wine. He didn't think it would do much to the taste of the wine so I had him try some cheapish wine without this aerator and then had him try it with the aerator and the taste was like night and day. He's tried it on some of his better wine and while it does change the taste a little, it wasn't as drastic as the improvement on the cheaper wine.

Makes wine taste really good

Similar to other reviews, this aerator makes even everyday wine taste really good. When I first got it, I put it together and it didn’t leak. I disassembled it to clean it, and then it leaked where the black part meets the clear part. I fiddled around with it and got it so it doesn’t leak anymore. I really find no reason to disassemble it ... you can run water through it, and rinse it out just fine. I think now that I have it assembled just right where it won’t leak, I’ll just keep it assembled. It’s wine going thru it, not olive oil or something where you’d really need to wash it with soap and dry it. I’m not really sure why the clear and black parts aren’t permanently assembled. When it kept leaking initially, I thought about super gluing the two pieces. Anyway, when it doesn’t leak, it’s an awesome aerator, and it really does make a difference in taste for all wines I’ve tried it on so far.

SEE UPDATED SECTION BELOW: With all of the raving reviews, I had high hopes on this product. Unfortunately I'm going to assume that the item I received was defective. It leaks. And it doesn't leak from the gasket/seal that goes into the bottle, it leaks from where the pourer (spout) meets the aerator. This piece is designed to open for cleaning, but it doesn't close tightly enough to prevent leakage. I purchased this because I wanted to have an aerator, but also because I wanted to stop the dripping of wine down the side of the bottle. This just made the dripping problem worse because now it drips onto the table or floor instead of just down the side of the bottle. I considered sealing it with rubber cement, but then I wouldn't be able to open it for cleaning purposes. UPDATE 8/13/2018: After returning this item, I was contacted by customer service. They suggested that it likely was a defective product I received and sent me a new one at no cost. After receiving it, before trying it, I took it apart where the previous one was leaking and sure enough, there is a small rubber seal in the new one that was not on the original. That's the reason the first one was leaking. I can now say that this is a 5-star product along with 5-star support.

Turned a skeptic to a believer

As somebody who recently "got into" wine, I was a big skeptic about this product. It seemed gimmicky but the reviews were glowing. Decided to give it a try. It's simple ,easy to take on and off, easy to clean and DEFINITELY makes a difference. I never tried aerated/decanted wine before, but have done a few side by side tests and this definitely removes a LOT of the metallic aftertaste/tannis some wines have that make them unpleasant to drink. I'm a believer now

I have a new best friend

Fantastic product! Makes red wine more enjoyable, as the "smoky" flavors tend to taste soapy to me (I can't be the only one here..). This was gorgeously packaged and came in two pieces to "assemble" if you can even call it that. The wine stopper is leak-free and the top keeps it from dripping red wine down the bottle onto your easily-stainable white countertops. Wonderful product that I'll easily be gifting to friends.

Smooth and flavorful

I never understood the point of aerating wine but this tool makes a difference. When my sister bought a product like this and had me try the wine I couldn't tell the difference at all. I decided to give it another try and poured two glasses of wine, one with aeration and one without, swapped the cups around so I didn't know which was which, and after tasting both there was a clear difference in the quality. Even my boyfriend who isn't much of a wine drinker noticed the difference. I'm not sure what exactly it is, but this aerator basically makes any wine smooth and flavorful.
