Awesome fire pit project

We live in an area where fires aren't always possible so we made a safe warm glowing fire (light) we can enjoy all year long. We placed it ruffled up in our chiminea to mimic a warm glowing fire. It's placed on the slow fade mode so it slowly fades in and out. Prior to placing it, I sprayed a coat of UV protectant and let soak in 2 days in the sun (charging it too). After 2 days I patted it dry, placed it in a box. In a vented area i hosed (sprayed) with a clear coat lacquer to help protect it from the weather and sun (AZ). I applied 2 more coats, ruffled the light string up and placed it in the pit with the panel on the top ledge. It looks great and homey feeling. The lights as to be expected, thin wiring followed by tiny leds. Its fragile to say the least but as good as I've seen any where. The panel has a 1 1/2ft lead to the 1st led. The panel is nice sized and build nicely compared to some. Obviously took off the spike but it was lightweight. 1 more would be nice but it's an expensive pet project just for a little more oh and aw Nice set up, enjoy your project

These are beautiful but don't get them tangled

I love these, I bought the smaller set in the summer for my porch, put them on hooks and they are beautiful and very durable. Since these are so durable I bought the bigger set to decorate the outside of my house for Christmas. It was one of the best ideas to do so because they run off of the sun and I don't need to plug anything in. So the smaller sets are easy to put up but I will say that if you get the strand with more BE CAREFUL not to get them tangled, it is very easy for that to happen with there being so many and I was unable to untangle one out of 3 sets that I bought. Could not untangle them to save my life but they still work and you can't even tell it still looks decorative bunched up in a pile LOL luckily I learned my lesson and CAREFULLY strung the other two sets up CAREFULLY. Overall I am happy with them so happy that I could sit and write a review all day long LOL I definitely recommend them. In my pictures you can't really see them but in person they are bright and pretty so the pictures really don't do them justice. AND (drum roll.........) they have different settings so that you can make them flicker

Would give this product a better review but it was not connected well. No amount of sun would make a defective product work. Returned one of two. The other is working as advertised. I would give this product a 5 star review but they need to do better QC. Review update!: I received a reply from the manufacturer apologizing for the defective product mentioned in the original review. I was very impressed. I had returned the defective string and purchased another. I am happy to report both strings of solar lights wrapped around our old wisteria plant that covers a pergola on our patio are bringing a lot of enjoyment.

Needed low light for chicken coop

Fantastic for what I needed. I was looking for a solar powered light source to give low lighting in my chicken coop. Some of my birds are procrastinators and stay out till dark (or sometimes later). They then have trouble finding the roosts and empty spots when they do locate them. The lights on the string are very small and since it is attached to a wire it was super easy to string the lights around the top of the coop. When clicked to On/Steady the lights will turn on once it gets dark enough outside. I haven't had any birds peck the lights and they don't seem overly curious about them which is good. I do not believe the lights give off enough light to provide supplemental light for winter laying, but if my birds do proceed to lay this winter I will update this review so the information is available for anyone who is interested. I suspect they would need more and stronger light though. I added some pictures to give an idea of how much light they provide in the coop.

lovely ethereal look...

lovely ethereal look... they are easy to affix to tree or shrubbery limbs, due to the nature of the copper wire, easy to handle and position... I bought two sets, put one in my dogwood tree next to the patio.. gave the other one to my son in law.. now, I have bought 3 or 4 more sets.. i'm moving to a new home, and cannot wait to add them to the new lawn design/decor... it has to be totally overcast, most all day long, before you don't get any lights at all for the evening. the number of hours of sun that the sensor gets during the day seems to determine how long they last of a night.. sometimes until around midnight, other times all night long.. til the sun starts to show. they are not meant to illuminate an area, I don't think.. I have been very satisfied with them. so pretty.

Perfect outdoor mood light solution.

I'm very impressed. They stay lit all night adding a perfect glow. I was able to hide the solar panel nicely too. I'll be getting plenty more I'm sure. They are my perfect solution for gentle outdoor lighting. The price is great too. I hope they are durable I'll like to place them in several places in the front and backyard. My picture does not do them justice.

The perfect touch for your backyard paradise!

Works well. I bought a string in the fall from another seller, and they were nice , but this spring, they would only blink, and water had got inside, so I bought 3 strings of these, and dried out my other strand. All are woking perfectly. I prefer the Amir Solar Powered because they have a nicer, single pushbutton operation. So far, heavy rains and no problems!

When I first opened the package I was very surprised, and skeptical, due to the simple and seemingly "fragile" appearance of these things. To be honest, they just looked cheap! I found them to be very easy to string and position as I wanted them. I stung these along the top inside of my pergola and was able to position the power units so they are not visible from below but are in direct sunlight during the day. When dark came, I was very pleasantly surprised with the result. I really like the little pin lights and the fact that the wire they are strung on is virtually invisible. The effect is exactly what I was looking for! I am very happy with this inexpensive purchase. Even if they don't last, at this price I would purchase them again just to get the effect that they provide.

Beautiful, convenient lights are the perfect patio accent! If you don't want to mess around with having to plug lights in outdoors, these are your answer. With the solar stake, these lights are 'set up once & continue to enjoy'. The price here is such a value! These lights are very tiny! They're not like those ordinary Christmas-type lights, they give you a nice, different look wherever you use them. The white color is elegant, it goes with any décor outside you choose. We've used them as table-top décor, and among the garden. The solar charger is such a good idea, if your house gets enough sun you'll love these lights.
